Scott, Mike and Karin are easy to work with and a great staff maintaining an amazing fleet of boats that are constantly being upgraded. We had a chance to take a 44 foot Lagoon to Bimini for a week and it was amazing. The boat was amazing. The prices are the best in Florida. I highly recommend taking one of these beautiful boats on your next charter!

We chartered one of the catamarans, Sundance, for an 8 day sailing trip to Bimini. This was the first time we had chartered such a large boat and had a lot of questions leading up to the trip. Scott and Karin were always helpful and accommodating. The walk through prior to departure was thorough and Scott gave great tips for where to anchor. The boat was well maintained and clean. A few things didn’t work properly (fridge stopped working, one of the toilets smelled, manual bilge pump leaked) but luckily none of these relatively minor issues seriously affected our trip. We mentioned this to Scott when we returned and I am confident they will be repaired. I would recommend getting the cooler though… if we didn’t have one it would have been bad. Overall though we are very happy with our experience. I would definitely charter with them again.

We took a group of 8 to the Bahamas (Bimini islands and Cat Cay) on one of the catamarans, Cool Change. We had a wonderful time. Service was excellent, owners were courteous and thorough and gave us great tips on where to snorkel, scuba and dock. Boat was in great shape, we had no issues on our 5 day trip. On the return the guys were laid back, required minimal cleaning, and we’re again helpful. They do have a courtesy car, bathroom and allow for bag storage if you need it. They also have nice big coolers to rent, ice that’s not unreasonably expensive, snorkel gear and fish poles that were all to our liking. Overall, we thought these guys were great and would rent here again for sure.

Went through this place for spring break and they were awful. Complete jerks. 2 out of 3 boats we rented from them broke down and they blamed us for it even though it was clearly not our fault (lost power steering and an engine problem). They took our deposit and have told all of the other companies not to let us rent their boats. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They will rip you off, and again they’re a**holes.

Fun in the Sun Yacht charters was a blast! The family and I chartered a 40ft catamaran and sailed for Key Largo. When we arrived (late Easter Sunday afternoon) the staff stayed late (9pm) to familiarize with the vessel, bridge times and local waters so we could be off early the next morning. The boat was clean — very clean.
The staff remained available via cell phone if there any problems along the way. I used this once and sure enough someone picked up on the other end and walked me through the issue.
Accommodating, helpful and organized — I would charter from Fun in the Sun again-​no question.

Decided last minute to take my daughter and her friend on a catamaran sailing vacation over the Easter week-​end. Called Scott with only a week left to plan our trip but he was very accommodating and helped us work thru all the details and approve us for bareboating. Sadly, my dad passed away the night before our flight. I called Scott the next day and explained my plight. I was willing to take a credit for the trip but was unsure if and when my co-​captain would be available. Without my asking, Scott was kind enough to completely refund our payment!

We had a great sailing experience with Fun in the Sun Yacht Charters. Boats are well outfitted and kept in great condition. We chartered a catamaran and had a fantastic trip. We will definitely come back again!
