I went based on good reviews and the large number of reviews and was pretty dissapointed. I went for a classic Margarita Pizza which wasn’t even on the menu. So we ordered half margarita half their classic meats pizza. It came out with very fresh ingrediants that were high quality however it was so heavy that it was like slop on the pan. Our server, the owner, could barely scoop the pile of slop on to our plates. He laughed that at least we knew the ingrediants were good. It was a thick crust when I was hoping for thin and crispy and so messy we had to eat it with a fork and knife. The sauce was good but I won’t go back to this place again. He and his wife were eating pizza as they worked. The rushed us on our drink orders but had no drink menu with prices on it to select from. We almost got a ticket outside the place, they had to run out and bargain with the parking guy… we had paid our meter but apparantly we had parked into the next spot, even though the lot was empty!

Rude customer service!!! Just called this place and the guy was a total prick. Something was wrong with his phone apparently and he couldn’t hear me ask a question 3 times and he yells«yeah! Hello for the 6th time!!» Wow.

They changed owners– So here we go! Rolls– taste like Little Caesars crazy bread– Sausage and peppers my husband and I both spit it in our napkins at the same time– DISGUSTING! I had eggplant parm– I didn’t realize this dish could get screwed up and YEP they accomplished that! It was just gross, over cooked BUT yet ice cold– how does that work?!? My husband got tortellini with sauce– he said it tastes freezer burned– I didn’t try it because I was disgusted with everything! The wine LOL was the only great part– but about $ 10 over priced! I would not recommend this place at all– What a shame because the old Corelli’s was PHENOMENAL! Joe would cry to see his name being dragged through the mud! My lord they just need to shut the doors!

This place has recently changed hands. I had been wondering why the previous owner hadn’t shut down and made very necessary interior improvements while they dug up and rebuilt the exterior and parking lot, I guess the deal had already been done. What used to be my go-to spot for all things casual Pizza and Pasta is gone. Tried it twice since the new ownership, both times left saying I gotta find a new spot. Cost cutting and going after the seasonal tourist business, who’ll eat anything. A lot of us live here, ya know. Going into the«Garden Variety/Average» file for now. So sad.

We tried the Greek and Antipasta salad to start. Then followed that up with Corelli’s Special and Florentina both 18″. We had plenty of left overs with 4 people. It’s reasonably priced and the portions are generous. The Collina Sangiovese wine is a great compliment to pizza.

After walking by this place for 6 months I finally gave it a try. We ordered a small anti pasta and Greek salad for 4 people. The Greek salad is enough for 4 people. Comes with Corellis bottled Italian dressing. We ordered two pizzas –correlis special(meats and veggies) white pizza with spinach and tomatoes. Great value and quality.

Thank you Unilocalers for finding Corellis. We were headed to a nearby deli but found it closed… Italian restaurants are all over this area so we took a chance on Corellis. Sometimes you can just tell that despite the storefront look of a little place in a stripmall, the food will be great. It looked like they had tables right in front of the deli case — which could have turned us off if not for the Unilocal stars — but the menu had our favorites so what the hell. Corelliis all family and they will make you feel at home as soon as you step inside. Service is terrific, food is delicious and portions are huge. We had chicken soup, manicotti and sausage and peppers. There’s a $ 3.00 charge to share an entrée — probably a good idea for next time.

I really can’t say enough about this place. The food, the owners, the wine… it’s all incredible. When you arrive, you are greeted like family. «Come, sit, have some wine.» The salads are always incredibly fresh and the portion unbelievably generous. We always get a pizza, there is something special about this pie. Maybe its the cheese, maybe its the sauce, I don’t really want to know. We love it. A slice in the restaurant and the rest home for leftovers. The pastas are perfect, all the sauces lovingly made in house and each better than the next. Don’t leave however until you have the eggplant or chicken parm. It might be enough for two, but I somehow manage to finish it each time. Love the place, love the people, love the food. You should go today.

Ok first impressions. It’s a sauna in there ! Turns out they had some AC problems and the maintenance guy was in route to repair. The owner Guiseppe who by the way is a Jack Nicholson look-a-like was extremely friendly and professional. I was a bit skeptical about the prices, but when the food arrived and I tasted it, everything made sense. Warning! The portions are Gigantic! I strongly suggest sharing. I will return for the pizza.

Came here for the two slice and soda special. It costs $.50 for additional toppings so I got 1 pepperoni, 1 sausage and a ginger ale for $ 7.40 after taxes. I was greeted by a friendly staff and like the other reviews said the pizza slices were huge. The pizza was thin crust and tasted good, but the temperature of the pizza was warm and once I got to the second slice the temperature was room temp. I also got italian sausage slices on the sausage pizza, I would prefer the regular round type of sausage. I may come back in the future when I have a craving for pizza again.

Lord have mercy! Now this is Italian food. You want a mom and pop type feel? This is the place! It’s an Italian Deli with tables on the main floor. It is so authentic and cozy. Owner Frank is something straight out of the Sopranos. Son is the cook and wife is the waitress. The food is phenomenal! Best Italian in town. Gigantic portions, i was eating lasagna and baked ziti left overs for the next two days… even enough to share with the dogs. They have an amazing deal on Saturday nights, 5 courses paired with wine for $ 25…you said what!!! What a deal! You have to get on their mailing list because they sell out fast. Luckily we are and planning to attend this Saturday. Can’t wait… wearing my elastic band pants to make sure I can fit it all!

You can see my old review below. Went back to this place recently since I loved it, but there are new owners. The mom and pop italian feel is gone. (I only went here for lunch and haven’t had the chance to have any of their full dishes. I had their wedding soup and the pizza lunch special and will definitely be back for lunch and dinner. The wedding soup was amazing and each slice of pizza was basically a foot long. I saw four people sharing one Stromboli which was about 3 feet long. The staff was very nice and made the place feel very homey.)

stopped by for lunch here. hidden within a plaza had a pizza special for $ 5.99 for two huge slices of cheese pizza and a soda. The slices where out of this world large i never seen before. Very filling and good cheese on the pizza. Place is small and was empty when i went but i good definitely see this place packed during more reasonable hours one would eat. I would like to try out another kind of pizza and see what’s it all about. They also have a small deli inside and wines for purchase. The owner mentioned they have wine tasting every other Saturday from 7−10pm for $ 20 with little food apps to accompany the 7 – 9 wines you will taste which sounds like a deal I would like a try.

Located on the south side of Commercial Boulevard in Lauderdale by the Sea, Corelli’s offers a menu of Italian delights, service with a smile, and pizzas that please. We tried the fried ravioli appetizer and they were okay. My dining companion and fellow Unilocaler said they tasted as though they had been cooked in old oil. Next, our sausage-onion-peppers pizza pie was absolutely delicious! The toppings were plentiful, the cheese cheesy, and the flavors could only be further complimented by a sprinkle of spicy red pepper and grated parmesean cheese(available at your table). A dining tip: ask for a bit of olive oil to dip your crust in — and sprinkle the oil with a bit of oregano or basil — it’s delicious. Too full for dessert, we grabbed the check and were on our way. We would definitely order from Corelli’s again and we recommend you try them too. Unilocal on Unilocalers.

Best sicilian slice in Fl, but their regular slice is too cheesy and greasy… Order the sicilian at least an hr in advance so he can prepare and cook the dough, and the crust comes out buttery and almost donut like, maybe the best sicilian i’ve had. ask for a side of the homemade sauce to pour on top and its one of the greatest square slices you’ll eat After the great first impression i had to go back. I ordered a ton of food to eat here along with a pizza to take home, all off of the strength of the first visit. In preparation of the drastically revised review of this place I have to say I love the owners and i’m sorry but id much rather spend a few more bucks and get a far superior chicken parm at Solitas or Ill Gabbianos, its like comparing Godfather part 1 to Godfather part 3, most of the same ingredients but just one is much much better. The garlic rolls were amazing once again and great to eat with the salad. My girlfriend ordered the veal parm and it was subpar because of the amount of grease and the fact that it was almost undercooked. The chicken parm was piping hot when served but it too seemed a little undercooked and there was not enough cheese, and there were pieces of fat to bite off while eating, just not a real good look. I also had the potato gnocchi, they also offer cheese gnocchi but neither are on the menu and i had to ask the owner. The gnocchi was freshly made and good but it was nothing special, however part of that was my fault because i shouldve ordered it with red sauce and not a la vodka. I wouldnt be surprised if the a la vodka was store bought. It was not even close to as good as their homemade red. The pizza here is slightly above average at best, i would try the sicilian but i doubt i would order a regular pie again. There’s nothing that separates it from the standard Florida«NY» pizza. Its hard to get a good thin crust pie outside of a coal fire place. I would still definitely call this a good italian restaurant, but nowhere in the vicinity of great. I suggest you try this place if you live close, are craving homemade italian, and have never experienced the chicken parm at solitas or ill gabbys.

Could this little strip mall hole in the wall be all that good? I had my doubts, but after experiencing it, yes it is. It isn’t much to speak of. It’s very small, at first blush looks like nothing more than a cheap pizza joint, but it offers so much more. Upon entering, you find yourself in a very small, seemingly somewhat cramped area, but it comes off giving a cozy feeling to it. The service is attentive, polite, actually taking a to heart interest in the patrons. The food is more than pizza, though the pizza is very good but by itself hardly worthy of five stars. Though I have had their pizza, it is the other items that have earned my five stars praise. It has a full menu of Italian offerings which, much like home cooking, are nothing flashing but prepared with care. Better yet, it is done at a reasonable price. If it were expensive or pricey as are many other Italian restaurants in the area, I’d only give it three stars. I’m not sure what this restaurant is trying to be. An Italian grocery store? A wine store? A little hole in the wall deli? I just don’t know, but I don’t care. What it does, it does well and at a value in price.

Thank you Unilocal for helping me discover this great local gem. The restaurant is small and intimate, both my wife and I thought the place was very charming. Most of the patrons seems to be regulars as they were chatting with the owner on a first name basis. If you’re not local, this is the type of place you would drive by without noticing. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. We ordered the fried calamari for the appetizer. The calamari was tender, though I personally prefer crunchier breading. The portions were insane! We were half full after the appetizer. When the salad and the complimentary rolls came, we realized that we should’ve either skipped the appetizer or shared the entrée. The salad was fresh and very good with the house dressing, and the rolls were hot out of the oven. My wife had a slice of chicken parmigiana pizza. She thought it was delicious. My egg plant parmigiana came with a spaghetti on the side. Both were delightful. The leftovers gave us two more delicious meals at home. This is the type of local, family establishments I love to discover.
