This is hard for me to write as I completed the OC World Beer Tour and have my name on a placque at OC Wichita Old Town. We went tonight to be their first customers of the spring on their outdoor patio. Service was poor and after waiting over 20 minutes we left. The shift manager(lady with dark hair) was very unaccomodating and unfriendly. Not sure we will return here again. We went up the road to another neighborhood pub with great service.

For a chain, I’m a fan. It’s a great place if you want to grab a local beer, and eat with the little ones. So many choices on the menu, but I find myself always ordering the«Stupid Spicy Burger» because it’s just too damn good. Fun family place.

‘Don’t frequent this establishment all that much myself. However-my folks, who are diehard bargain hunters and loyal customers once they find a place they like, think O. C. rocks it-‘especially for late night happy hour food/brews. ‘Can’t get much of a better endorsement than that. One star off for some really young staff who occasionally make it clear that they’d rather be anywhere else-but I get it. The drive-in theater by Horsetooth is tough competition for any«youngster’s» mind on those summer evenings… I understand. It can be hard to get attention for repeat orders, etc. once in a while. But nothing that disrupts the overall impression. I will personally vouch for the mozzarella sticks… I miss them now that I’m vegan. But they haunt my dreams… indeed, they do.

Great service! We really liked our waiter. Good pizza and drinks! Good kids meals! Only complaint: Calamari was pretty overpriced, small portion, and too chewy…

I spent $ 25 on a pizza(large) that is not much bigger than my hand. The pizza is good, but it’s not that good. I would not recommend getting a pizza unless you mind spending that much for so little.

Ate at Old Chicago for dinner. Having read prior reviews, I was surprised with the very good service. Greeted by friendly staff, when I entered and seated right away; just before the rush. Server was curteous and attentive the entire time. Food was served hot. The pizza I order was delicious. I would like to see this restaurant carry more of the local beers on tap. I will return. And recommend to friends and family.

I came here after the movie had ended and my first reaction of this place was like wow this is amazing since I hadn’t been there before I loved how we were treated right away and how fast we were sited as well and I understand it was a Friday night and It was busy but my waiter gave me some what attitude and I took a long time to get us and even to refill our drinks the food was amazing that’s why I’m only giving it 5 stars but I wasn’t pleased with the service

The Servant was helpful careful and courteous on his first day of work. The drinks are tasty and properly gauged(just the right amount of x liquor). The pizza was interestingly good for a style of pizza I am personally not fond of. Many television sets line the walls of this place so if you are a fan of american football this is a place that should be on your gameday menu. I was not treated poorly for wearing my patriots attire. It was loud for a pizza place but perhaps because the patriots won. I recommend for you to try this with your friends and/or family.

When I am traveling to Fort Collins to visit family I always make time to visit Old Chicago’s First always start with huge selection of beer on tap available. Then comes the appetizer of «Italian Nachos» which are great every time I visit here. Then comes the pizza which was always very delicious especially the topping. Very clean restaurant, very attentive servers. Good value, Good food!!!

I come here a bit more often than I normally would because my husband likes the beer tours and racks up points for food and appetizers. The non-pizza part of the menu isn’t my kind of food, so I always order a tavern style veggie pizza with the zesty sauce. The sweet sauce that normally comes in the tavern style pizza is way too sweet in my opinion. Caveat: I am particular about my pizza order(the different sauce and I also ask for light cheese). When they make it as ordered it’s perfect! The problem is they often screw up orders, at least at this location. Service is also quite uneven, sometimes downright horrible. I will say that when the pizza is made incorrectly, they almost always fix the problem, but it means waiting to eat your food while they make another pizza(often while the rest of the family is enjoying their food). Because it happens so often, they get the star demotion. With a quality server, the dining experience is good overall. For a chain pizza place, Old Chicago’s earns the 3-stars: nothing spectacular, but all right for an occasional meal.

When it’s bad, it’s Bad! I sip beer and eat here often. I never expect anything special about this place. However, last night was the icing on the cake for service and organizational dysfunction. 30 minute wait before we had to call a Manager Everywhere I go I always order two beers. Last night I was told I couldn’t order two beers that they would have to come to me one at a time, this was the law. Even though the night before I was in their bar watching the Ohio State am Oregon football game, I had two beers coming at me each time I ordered. As the waitress walked away from our table, she was shaking her head and said something under her breath, it sounded like«Jesus.» We asked for a change in Wait staff. The manager talk to us at some length. We got a new waitress who was super cool and took care of our table for the most part. The menu has a new sandwich but the description is wrong. So when it came out, and as it was ready to be sent back, the waitress told us that will Chicago’s did not prepare their own food, it was prepackaged and there was no way that she could take peppers off of the sandwich. See she suggested I pick the peppers off myself and then begin to tell me the differences between Anaheim’s and Bells. My partner did not receive her food for about another 30 minutes until we have to ask for it. To the credit of Old Chicago’s, we have about eight people at the table. The manager came and talk to us, she apologized for the service and the food. She bought our dinner for us, which would have been a very hefty bill. We buy our drinks. I’m glad that the management did what they did. So I have not completely turned my back on old Chicago’s on Harmony and Timberline. As an organizational manager, it’s easy to see where the issues are in this restaurant. The food is the same, it doesn’t matter what old Chicago’s you go to, it should always look and taste the same. It’s the service that makes the restaurants unique in their very own way.

I came here thinking that this Old Chicago would be similar to the one in Old Town. I would be able to grab some late night pizzas for a good price and have a good time. But I was wrong! Overall I had TERRIBLE customer service. It really did ruin the experience for me. My boyfriend and I sat down at a table. It took a while for our waitress to come by to grab our orders. I thought that maybe she was busy working with other people by the bar, so I let that go. After 10 minutes or so another waitress came by later to refill our water. We wanted to add things to our order after thinking that what we got wasn’t enough. She told us that she couldn’t add things to our order herself and said that we could tell our original waitress once she comes back to check up on us. Okay, makes sense. So we waited. Our original waitress didn’t come back until after our food was brought out. Thanks for the attentiveness. You know where we found our waitress though? She and her friends kept going back to this one table and laughing about [assuming] the tips that she got. They kept taking pictures of receipts and cash left there. I get that you are having fun, but I don’t feel like that is what you do in front of other customers. According to my other friends who visited this location, they also had terrible service. I guess I am not the only one who thinks this.

It’s hard to go wrong with a old c’s. Know what it is and what it isn’t. It’s a great pizza chain with an evolving menu, friendly servers, and as good a beer selection as any place I’m town.

When the service is bad, it’s terrible. Most of my Old Chicago’s experiences on Harmony Rd. have been positive. Most recently, I was filled with whimsical joy when Samuel Adams tweeted me while I was enjoying their Cherry Chocolate Bock just a few feet from where I type this review. Our service tonight was so terrible that I do not think I will be showing my face here for awhile. Sadly, I will be losing«regular» status, and I only hope this experience provides you some context of a worst case scenario at this Old C’s. To say our waitress was inattentive would be an understatement. Our party of five was contacted by our waitress a grand total of five times in over a two hour timespan. The first annoyance came with the happy hour beer choices. «Every American beer» said Danielle. Apparently this excludes the specialty beers on the rotating drafts menu as well as the seasonals listed on the regular drafts menu. I don’t fault the waitress for this policy, but it was an annoyance. My second grievance came during the nearly thirty minute gap before we saw her next. Sadly, we missed the opportunity for another drink at happy hour prices. I’d understand this if Old C was busy, but this was hardly the case. The food was its usual delightful self(Meat Lovers Pizza), the beer selections consistently solid, but it was after receiving our bill with our food that things really turned sour. We asked for waters. One water was brought back. We waited patiently, and I even had an awkward moment of waving that confused another patron. We were finally attended to by another waiter(who saw my inflatable wailing armed tube man dance) who asked if we needed anything and I asked for a round of waters. I looked at the check and realized it had been 32 minutes since our waitress dropped off our bill and had seen us last. On a dead Monday night. After receiving or waters, I mentioned this time frame and the waiter said, «Let me make it up to you — can I grab you a beer?» Redemption! Free beer for our trouble! So it seemed. The beers came quickly, and surprisingly, a new check and our sixth waitress sighting in the now 2.5 hour window arrived shortly after. We were charged for the beers?! Wow. I’m not one to be overly critical — most of my Unilocal reviews are overwhelmingly positive, but I am offended with the poor service we received, and frustrated that this wasn’t resolved when we involved a second party. 3⁄5 of the party at my table attend Old C’s on Harmony together at least every other week. That will no longer be the case. For $ 100+ in bar and pizza tabs, we will seek more consistent avenues for a more satisfying investment on our return.
