Food is great, but when I went to change my daughter’s diaper there wasn’t a changing station in the men’s room. The staff had me go to the ladies room, and while I was in there someone came in. I had to hide out till they left so as not to freak anyone out. This was an uncomfortable situation to say the least. Who makes these decisions that dads aren’t parents too? Just install a $ 100 changing station, ffs.

Stopped by for happy hour. Nice place with a wide variety of beers(obviously) to choose from. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgable. He was personable without over doing it. The food wasn’t really that great. First was the fries with dipping sauce. Fries were small and the amount we received was literally about one cup. The IPA hot sauce was excellent. The bacon wrapped pretzel was great but the sauce(I’m guessing maybe s beer cheese sauce) lacked any flavor and was very bland. The sliders were good. The bread plate was tasteless and not worth it. So in the end… Staff was great so was the beer. The food was not worth the $$ in my opinion. They also have a minimal wine list in case someone in your party doesn’t like beer or liquor.

Love feeling like I’m apart of the brewery when I come here. One of the few places I can have a drink and watch the bottles be labeled at the same time. Bacon wrapped pretzels are always amazing and the beer is delicious too. Knowledgeable and fun staff to boot

Second time here and I have to say that while the food is very good the service is poor at best. Too bad… 12÷23÷15 Here again today and the restaurant is half full and I had to wait 15 minutes to be seated because they are understaffed. They are out of fish and chips…

I am writing this review because I love Fort Collins Brewery. However, I am very disappointed in their customer service and«holiday party policy». I made a reservation for Saturday December 5th for 8 people. The reservation was to celebrate not only my birthday but two other birthdays as well. I made the reservation and received confirmation. This afternoon I called to change the time of my reservation from 5:00 to 5:30. I was told that it would be completely fine and they would see me Saturday. About ten minutes later I received a call explaining that the restaurant would be closed on Saturday December 5th. I called back and it was then explained to me that the restaurant would NOT be closed but, that a holiday party was going to occur and the entire restaurant was rented out. I was understanding until the young lady mentioned that the holiday party reservation was made AFTER my reservation… This really bothers me. I am a paying customer and was expecting to have a lovely evening at FCB modern tavern. However, because I am not paying as much money as the holiday party my reservation was ignored. I think this is terrible customer service. The lady explained that the reason they took their reservation and deleted mine was because it is holiday season which is the busiest time of the year. However, they should still respect that my birthday just so happens to be during the holiday season. I am disappointed and expected more from a local brewery and tavern. It is two days before my birthday and now I have to find a place in old town Fort Collins that will take my reservation a day prior to the weekend… Such a let down!

Last stop on a day trip to Ft Collins breweries, so maybe going to a couple of smaller(and great BTW) places with great beers prior to arriving here, sort of made Fort Collins Brewery seem mediocre. We tried a taster flight and none of us were impressed at all. Seems a lot like a restaurant that happens to make beer on the side. It doesn’t really pass for the craft beer experience one expects when going to Ft Collins. Sorry:(

A friend and I went there for lunch October 31, 2015. The patio was ideal for the perfect autumn day. The food(Beet Salad and grilled cheese/tomato soup combo) was delicious and the brews superb. I am a fan! Our server, Terence was a delight and had full command of all the nuances of the menu. Two very minor criticisms: too many croutons in the small cup of soup and the sweet potato tots are no longer on the menu!

We always look for breweries and while on vacation we look for breweries that serve local handmade food. Can we say SCORE, not only is the food local, it is some of the best food I have eaten in a long time, let alone from a brewery! We are already planning our return. Trip! Nick was our server, not only did provide great service, he walked us through each beer with confidence. Considering my husband is planning on opening a brewery in Casper, WY and is a beer lover, it is hard to impress him, he was saying great things about him the entire meal. See you guys on Monday after we get home from San Fran. PS…try the BOWL of Beer Cheese soup a cup won’t be enough.

The Fort Collins Brewery sat high on my list of favorite breweries, until I went over to the dining area and ordered some food. Then, the restaurant took over the desirability factor, and I would actually recommend FCB as more of a dining establishment now. Primarily, on account of phenomenal brunch. With chicken and waffles sitting next to biscuits and gravy, you possess the ability to please any friend of yours – someone from high end New York looking for sustainable food(they use lots of spent grains, not surprisingly… but also surprisingly) or the southern boy who hates craft beer but loves him some gravy. On my end, I love creamy, grainy kinda stuff, i.e. risotto, stews… and in this case, granola(also utilizing spent grain – does this release nutrients in the same fashion as soaking beans and oats does?) soaked in heavy cream, chock full of nuts and dried fruits. The people at the helm of the kitchen know how to entertain a snobby food crowd, whether looking for refined, unique ways of preparation or something simple yet with an emphasis on fun, quality ingredients. I applaud you, FCB Modern Tavern.

Brunch?! Really nice. They do pitchers. They had a great selection of four ciders and 2 fruity session(light?) beers for summer. The cherry cider was to die for. Other FoCo brunch destinations on a Sunday morning were saturated with over an hour wait. FBC had no wait! We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service. We already knew the brews would be spectacular. Give them a try for brunch.

Tonight was our first time at FCB and I don’t think we will be returning. We tried some samples and weren’t impressed with any of the beer. It seemed more watered down than others. The food was ok, not the best and super overpriced for the portion sizes. The thing that really got me was the servers attitude. She was rude and I felt rushed by her. It was like she had something better to do than to wait on us. Odell’s is right next door. Go there, it’s wayyyyyy better!!!

Menu promises more than the food can deliver. I ordered the short rib tacos from the menu and what I got was more of an appetizer with 2 tiny tacos and a bland side of beans and rice. Service was really disappointing as well. It took over 10 min just to get a beer with very few people in the place. Very underwhelming for the price and for what appears to be a great eatery/brewery.

We went on a tour here and had a flight on samplers, I had the seasonal and my mother had the traditional. The tour was fun, but the guy giving the tour didn’t know much about brewing. He was asked many questions and didn’t seem to know any of them. It seemed more like he was just a bartender and was assigned to walk us around the back room. The beer was okay, the best part of the trip was the apparel section, I got a hat that had a cool design.

WOW! So good. I can vouch for the sweet potato tater tots, rosemary ham Mac and cheese, and the tavern burger. Kinda small portions, but full flavor and well worth it. We went during the beer collaboration party and it was awesome!!! Super busy, interesting, but good beer.

Maybe this just isn’t my idea of a great brewery but it just doesn’t do it for me. I feel like it lacks energy and it’s really lacking that unique character. We had a flight of beers and most of them were just okay. Their beers never really did it for me, and I understand it’s subjective, but I just don’t find this as a fun experience either, unfortunately.

Very knowledgable bartender on beer. Tried the flight with some other samples suggested by the bartender that were great. Loved their Tequila-aged sour, so unexpected. Great place to try local beers & some food. Nice menu & had a flatbread to help mellow the alcohol. I’d come back the next time I leave KC.

3.5TOTAL 4.5 Beer 4.0 Service 2.5 Food I spent a nice Sunday brunch here. My friend and I sat at the bar and had a nice conversation with the bartender, Max. My friend ordered a bloody for the bloody mary bar, which looked awesome. I ordered the Blonde beer on tap. We both had the Brewer’s breakfast. I had mine with the sage gravy. The food was ok to me. My friend finished her plate. It is potatoes, eggs how you like it and then two pieces of bacon and a sausage patty on top. the meat is difficult to cut when its on top of all those things and I definitely made a mess. I would try something else next time. After my first beer, my friend had a quick meeting so I decided to stay for another. I tried the seasonal sampler this time and was not disappointed. A great selection of beers right there. I liked the El Hefe and the Dark and Stormy the most but even the barely wine was enjoyable. All and all, the service was friendly, the beer was good, but I need to go again and try something else to eat. Not impressed with my breakfast selection.

My family and I came here on a Sunday for lunch. We were looking forward to trying their food, but unfortunately never had a chance. We waited at the hostess station for 10 minutes, with not a single employee in sight. When we looked further into the restaurant, we saw one server and bartender, but weren’t able to get their attention. Ultimately, we took it as an omen of what type of service we’d eventually receive and decided to go somewhere else.

Met up with a friend here, for a late lunch, during a southbound road trip. Atmosphere and service were great. I like the modern, clean brewery feel. Kinda different, kinda familiar at the same time. 3 stars for having a really interesting looking menu, and good service! I like the options they offer, but unfortunately, they just weren’t very well executed… Not really sure how to explain it… They just weren’t good… It felt like the food was pretty well prepared, and well seasoned… It just wasn’t very good… Edit: Forgot! Great beer selection!

I was excited about coming here after seeing their menu: chicken and waffles, beet salad, poutine, beer! However, it didn’t really meet my expectations for a few reasons: Service: We were standing up front near the ‘please wait to be seated’ sign with no hostess in sight, we had to walk in closer to the bar to be seen– the hostesses/waitresses were chatting and we had to ask for a table pretty much. Food came out fast, though. Food; We ordered. — Beet salad: This was great — Poutine: It was supposed to come with cheese curds and I’m pretty sure they just melted block cheese, false advertisement — I ordered the Major Tom’s Peach which should have both pomegranate and peach flavors, and I really only tasted the wheat and the fruit wasn’t all that pronounced. Since this is a brewery restaurant, the beer should be great as well! So overall, it wasn’t the worst. But i’ve had better.
