Enjoyed our dinner at Coppersmith. I had a flight of beer and thoroughly enjoyed the Green Chile beer, not to be missed. I had the Schweinsnitzel and it was delicious, my wife had the chili Fritos pizza and she enjoyed that as well. We ate outside and the environment was great.

I’ve been going here for 20 years and the food, beer, service, prices have always been consistently good. The only bad experience I’ve ever had here was that it’s so popular there is sometimes a long wait.

This place is located in a sweet spot where you can people watch if you sit outside. The beer selection was pretty good. They also brew their own root beer which is very liquorish tasting. It took a good amount of time for our waiter to come over which, if you have time to wonder where your waiter is, it’s been too long. My friend and I split the pesto cucumber chicken sandwich and had an order of fries and coleslaw. The sandwich came out with the sides and I kid you not, the sand which was smaller than my hand. So disappointing. I took a bite of the coleslaw and I’ve never tasted anything so bland. I added salt, pepper, mustard, even some ketchup with pickles and onion from my tiny sand which. Good thing they only charged me $ 1 to add the slaw. Not impressed. The sand which was good but I only had about 3 bites before my half was gone. Not worth the money.

Had the watermellon beer and a buffalo burger. The beer was great, so was the bar tender, friendly, helpful. Nix the burger, plain and ordinary is me being kind. My associate had the cooper’s burger with fries. Again ordiary, boring. The coopers burger at least looked like it was made in house. The buffalo burger came from frozen pre shaped stock… yuck… Sam’s club? Costco? 11 and $ 12 should get you much better than this… I used to come for the brisket sandwich. sad to see it gone… Again great beer… skip the food though… you can get the same for much less at any drive thru… guys idea… grind up a steak and make a great burger… disapointed…might come back for beer… but not for the food!

This place sucks. We came in late night and did not have a good experience. We aren’t from Fort Collins but I come up often and have had great service and food in this town. Today was NOT the case. Our bartender was unamused and disenchanted with her job. After some silly small talk she didn’t really seem to like us much. She even scolded another patron who didn’t like his beer and called him rude. We had to ask to order, no one asked us if our food was any good(the mushrooms on the buffalo burger tasted like dishwater; so no, it wasn’t. And it was very clearly a frozen patty) and we had to ask for our check after about 15 minutes – we were being ignored because the bartender was too busy closing shop. I will not be back.

Great Beer, the best patio downtown! The food is delicious! We love the atmosphere at Coopersmiths!

This brewery had the most customers out of all the breweries we visited while in Fort Collins and I can’t understand why. The beer was fine, nothing extraordinary. We enjoyed it and the atmosphere. Coopersmith’s had a lot of atmosphere. It would have been nice to see the brewery, but how they decorated the brewery is with what seemed like used parts of a brewery… not an actual brewery. We never did see the actual brewery. We had one beer each and left. We saw the food being delivered to customers and it looked good and smelled even better. The next time we are in town, I hope to order food because it looked and smelled so good. I hope to be back.

We ate at the pub on the evening of 6⁄11. Food and service were great! Was raining a little when we arrived but we wanted to sit outside. Hostess took the time to find us the perfect place. My wife had the Guacamole Turkey Burger and I had the Bourbon Burger. Both of us had the pub fries. We would order the same again without hesitation.

First time visiting but will not be the last time. My friend and I were shopping in Fort Collins and decided to go to old town. We happened across Coopersmith Pub and just let me say the spicy black bean burger and sweet potato fries are all THAT! The best darn burger I’ve had since being here in CO the last 6 weeks. The seating outside on the patio made the visit even more better. I’m looking forward to going back and will bring my husband when he comes to visit from GA. If you are looking for a fantastic place to dine, don’t hesitate… make your way to Coopersmith! T

Reliable place that has been there forever. Tasty food — although maybe not the healthiest food. You can eat inside or your choice of two different places outside. They have two different restaurants that are right next door to each other. The original — non-pool– side has the better food, imho.

Nachos were superb(even though I hate not real guacamole) and my wife devoured her steak & peaches salad. The beer wasn’t bad and I ended up with the watermelon & Kolsch mixed 50⁄50. Nice Old Town patio.

Were brought here for dinner by family. We immediately liked the location, and the surrounding area with the plaza and shops. Not 100% sure, but it seemed near CSU campus, but regardless I could see the area being very busy/packed when school is in; thankfully we were there after Spring Semester had finished. Their pizza was very good, I’m told the burgers are excellent. We did order a flight of beers to try, I’m not sure exactly which ones, but they were all very tasty. I also tried the root beer. I was not the biggest fan, maybe a little too rooty for me; it had more flavor than I expected. All in all a nice spot, on a nice night.

Quick seating, great service, and relaxing atmosphere. The menu had many options from burgers to pasta to seafood. I had fish tacos and it was good. The brews were a plenty but they did not have Amber’s or reds but no big. We enjoyed many others but they also make their own root beer and cream sodas. This place is family friendly and lots of outdoor seating, if you’re lucky you won’t get rained on. Plus dogs are welcomed outside. Highly recommend and it’s in the heart of old town.

Beer selection is excellent, lots of seating, patio is right on the square so that’s fun, especially on the weekends. Service was good. We had the bbq pork sandwich with sweet potato fries and the pub Mac and cheese with beer bread. The fries and bread were stellar. The Mac and cheese was good but nothing to write home about. Everything on the pork sandwich was good– great bread and meat, but then the bbq sauce ruined it. Maybe my KC was showing, but it was tangy and spicy in a weird way with little chunks of red peppers in it. Not a fan at all. The Funky Fresh golden sour was an interesting beer– the description was a little off putting but man it was delicious.

I came in for lunch on a weekday and was able to get a table quickly. The food, service and beer offerings are decent– nothing incredible. I had the jalapeño popper burger and my friend had the bangers and mash. Again, both were fine but nothing that I would seek out again. All and all– an AOK experience.

I was taking a friend out for her birthday and we received less than average service. Honestly, out of all the years I’ve been a patron of this establishment, I was really disappointed and embarrassed because we both received awful service. Ok, I’m not one of those people to nit pick others service, however when you’ve been a server and know the basic expectancies from your job. It’s really disappointing to find a server who was less then thrilled to even speak with you. I will not name names, however this server almost redeemed themselves by offering a birthday dessert, that was complementary. However, this server added this to the check on accident, and then… we then never received the acclaimed birthday gift. All in all, it was really disappointing and I’ve loved this restaurant for a long time. Now, not so much…

We have been to Coopersmits many times and have always had great service and great food and beverages. Owner/Manager Chris is a real asset to the business, always friendly and courteous and he’s always involved in the business. . Great location, we usually go to pub side, great indoor and outdoor seating, we like the seating facing the newly remodeled courtyard. Sign up for their emails as you can get some good deals from the coupons they offer.

My husband used to come here when he was attending CSU and he remembered that they had really good beer made in house. Since Ft. Collins is on our itinerary for this Colorado trip, my husband made a plan to stop by this place for lunch again. I didn’t try the beer, but I had the pulled pork sandwich and a salad with spicy dressing. The pulled pork was good and the homemade dressing was even better. My husband had the beer. I forgot the name, but it starts with Punjabi and he picked it because we went to Punjab during Christmas. He liked the beer. One person in our party couldn’t eat dairy so they were very accommodating with that. Service was good.

we went here because we have heard good things about this place. We took my roommates mom who was in town to go out to dinner here. The food is decent i has the beer mac and cheese they were pretty good and my husband also liked his meal. The booth seating was designed to be very uncomfortable and after about 15 minutes of sitting my back started to hurt. other party members also shared this opinion with me. I was the slight angle of the seating in the booth. maybe it was just the one we were sitting at I do not know. The waitress(i don’t remember her name) was pretty pushy and didn’t really give much time to just enjoy ourselves. I understand it was a busy night but give guests some space! please! some people don’t go out that often and really want to enjoy themselves if they do and go spend money at a restaurant.

Only stopped here for a brew(not brown ale –a worthy choice). The atmosphere is one of the cooler traditional American bars that I’ve ever seen… Pool tables, plenty of elbow room. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

I have been here before for drinks and playing games, but I didn’t even realize that it was restaurant too. It has two separate buildings, one is the bar and the other is the restaurant. I am not a big fan of their beers. I don’t really like that there isn’t much standing space around the bar. There aren’t any high top tables around, it is more low tables in the back and then standing around the pool tables and other bar game tables. I did love the Highland Cottage Pie and the warm apple sauce on the side. That is what I would recommend. My server at the restaurant was also very nice and helpful suggesting food items.

Coopersmith, where to start? Walking around as a stranger, and being a tourist it helps to have friends who can make decisions for you and where to go eat. My friend’s family brought our whole group to Coopersmith to have a nice lunch. Walking in, all I see are pool tables. Pool tables from one end of the room to the other side. This, was something I was pretty excited about. When we got seated down, there were these newspapers on our table, every seat got one. I was thinking to myself, hmm. This is interesting. When I looked, to my surprise it was the FREAKINGMENU! Sorry, I guess that’s over the top, but it was so extremely awesome. So just knowing that, I already was thinking we were on the right path. So let’s get to the food, the reason why you’re reading this review. App: Bruschetta(and that’s pronounced bru-sketta) — Amazing. Look at the photo. I mean come on, you’re telling me that you’re saliva is dripping out of your mouth? Main: Mesa Verde Burger with a substitute salad instead of what was provided and instead of the pepper jack cheese, I chose swiss instead — What did I think? A good amount of kick was still there, and I believe I tasted the green chili, except I think I would rather have had just a cup of the chili itself. I thought it was a little interesting as far as how the condiments were on the bottom of the burger, usually it is always on top of the bun but it was just a small observation. Maybe they do things differently in CO. The salad needs a definite mention though, because it was loaded with everything. I think the ranch dressing was a little weak, like watered down? It was odd. After the meal we got a pool table and played shuffle board. This I thought was extremely fun. We played multiple games and just had a blast. I think this was the highlight of our meal here! Service was wonderful our waiter was very patient with all of us. Would I recommend this place? Hmm. Let me think, beer, games, fun, good food? Um. Yes. It’s a no-brainer. Just have hours that you can kill, because it’s easy to do here.
