Great food & excellent service! Dining area is a bit small, but they accommodated our party of 16 without a problem. If you love BBQ, you’ll love this place!

Fabulous brisket, friendly staff. The homemade pork skins they bring to the table are to die for. Couldn’t quit eating them. Great place for lunch or dinner

On a road trip from Atlanta to Little Rock, saw this and stopped in for lunch with friends from work. Had the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries and was underwhelmed, the presentation was good, the pork was moist, however had zero smokiness to it which is a requirement to me if you are known as a BBQ joint. The fries were actually burnt and had to be sent back, the follow on fries were better but not by much My companions had pork as well with one having the ribs, the consensus was that sides were just so-so(maccheese/potatoes salad) The server Meagan was fast and courteous and friendly. This is a solid place to stop in if you are on interstate 44 and need something to fill up on.

Found it on Unilocal while driving through. They bought a basket of fried skins to the table just as we sat down. Both had the pulled pork sandwich with sauce and slaw. It was great. Also had the yummy baked beans. Will stop again

THESERIBSAREAMAZING!!! Ok I’m a California girl but I’ve been to Fat Matts in Atlanta, had the Ribs in S Carolina, had Texas bbq, but these dry rubbed ribs blew me away! Seriously, they were fantastic! I ate every last morsel! I managed to squeeze room for the coleslaw, but had to pass on the fries and roll. No room! Ok I ate a FEW fries. This place is a must stop! Neighborhood a bit ruff but SO worth it!

Really good bbq. Im a little picky on my bbq so my 4 star is prob a 5 star for most people. Either way this place is worth the stop… The hot sauce was decently hot(how it should be) and the regular sauce was a delectably good mix of sweet and savory ingredients, that i really liked, despite my usual lack of excitement over vinegar based sauces . The pork had good bark, not too greasy but not too dry either. Prices are pretty reasonable too, which was a nice thing considering i was buying for 5 people, and one of the big hitter places like southside or pecan lodge(both in Texas) would cost almost double what we spent here for about the same portions.

Super friendly service and great BBQ! Stopped in here on the way to Little Rock from Memphis and wasn’t disappointed. The winner was the BBQ eggrolls. Stuffed with delicious BBQ meat and fried to perfection. The accompanying sauce was delicious and I ended up pouring it on a lot of the other food I got. I had the cactus chili and it was very tasty. The portion was very large and I greatly enjoyed the flavor. Other people at the table got the pork, brisket, and turkey sandwiches. Each meat was very tasty and cooked just right. Service was super friendly!!! The lady who served us was so super nice and I’d love it if she could serve me in every restaurant I went to! Will defo stop in here again if I’m in the area.

Ribs and pulled pork were some of the best I’ve had, service was great. Only reason I can’t say 5 stars is I was a little disappointed in the Mac n cheese. If you are wanting some good ol bbq you need to stop!

We Unilocaled this place on a road trip and pulled through town. This area of town looks a little shady, but I’ve always that the best food comes from the scarier looking places, particulary in terms of BBQ. I may be spoiled as a Texan, but the ribs I received were nothing to get excited about. I like Lisa M.‘s review there – it was«it’ll do» BBQ, and the sides and the sauce were far better than the meat was. Delta Q earns its fourth star for having good sides, friendly service, and a homey atmosphere, but I’d avoid their famous ribs and go somewhere else if you’re looking for top-flight meat.

To me this falls under«It’ll do» BBQ. The dry rub ribs were crunchy and dry, and the sides choices were underwhelming. They do have an excellent BBQ sauce, which was required to get through the ribs. The mac&cheese was nice, and the roll was sweet and tasty. However, for me that’s not enough to make up for the mediocre meat.

We ordered take out from Delta Q after being on the road for 12 hrs. It’s located about a mile down the road from a group of hotels in the area– it’s well worth heading down the road for their BBQ. I had the ribs plate– ½ rack was more than plenty with the two generous sides. The meat fell right off the bone and was deliciously smokey. My husband had the catfish plate and said it was wonderful. We’ll keep stopping by as we pass through Forrest City!

On a road trip from St. Louis to Texas, we stopped here for dinner. I had the BBQ chicken nachos and my mom ate the half chicken plate. I cannot say enough great things about the food and staff. The food was great. Pork and chicken seem to be their specialities… I do not remember seeing beef except burgers. The parking lot was full, and I know why. It was a crowd mixed with locals and travelers. It is a mile off I-40. Don’t let that stop you from trying this place out. I forgot to tell you they bring you pork skins to snack on as you wait for your food. They were fresh and not greasy… a little spice, but it was yummy! And I usually am not a pork skins fan. Very cute decorations. Very clean restrooms. Reasonably priced, and I felt they were glad we stopped by for a bite. I wish they were closer to my home, so I could try all the other things I thought looked great on the menu… BBQ chicken tacos sound amazing as did many of the other items.

Unilocal got this one wrong for sure. This is my second visit to this restaurant and I have to say it is definitely over rated. As one who eats a lot of barbecue, I would have to say the quality was very average. In addition, I left there hungry because the quantity was not in line with an $ 11 lunch. In addition the service was very slow!

What a find! So glad we decided to give this place a visit. From the sweet tea to the table side conversation, this place is the real deal. The pulled pork bbq will melt in your mouth & all the side dishes were just as tasty. Pit boss & lead cook, Danny recommended the bbq egg roll with a delicious sauce. excellent! Five stars for taste, atmosphere and delta hospitality. Tracy & Joyce ONeil from NC

When I pulled up and saw a drive-thru window on the side of Delta Q’s building, I wasn’t quite sure if that was a good sign or a bad one. Their dining room is small but comfortable, and it has a rather modern feel to it. They had some good music pumping out of the sound system which made things more lively. By no means is this a hole-in-the-wall barbecue joint. Shortly after arriving, the incredibly friendly cashier brought me some complimentary pork rinds for no reason in particular. What a sweetheart. The pork rinds were crisp, but thankfully they weren’t rock hard like so many of the homemade pork rinds I’ve eaten elsewhere. These had a nice seasoning blend on them, which was a combination of sweet and spicy. Delta Q doesn’t have any multi-meat combos on the menu, so I did my best to create one of my own. I started with an appetizer of Delta Q Loaded Fries, followed by a half-rack dry-rubbed Rib Plate. My plate came with two sides, for which I picked Potato Salad and Mac and Cheese. The Loaded Fries are smothered in gravy and topped with cheese curds and chopped pork shoulder. It’s sort of like a barbecue poutine. The pork was really juicy with a decent amount of smoke. I also found some good bark mixed in. The spices sprinkled on top added a nice level of heat and another degree of flavor. I also loved the gooey cheese curds, which helped to temper the spiciness well. I could see some black pepper scattered throughout the Mac and Cheese, but I couldn’t really taste it. Even without the pepper, the mac was creamy and really tasty. The mayo-based Potato Salad looked more like a German-style potato salad, which is the best kind really. There were a lot of pickles and other veggies that added a good crunch. It was slightly sweet, with a nice bite from the onions. This was certainly a big serving of ribs for a half-rack. They had a beautifully dark crust, complete with a tasty char from the grill finishing process. I noticed some hints of sweetness on the crust as well. The meat beneath was tender and very juicy. It was only slightly smoky, despite the bright red smoky color on the meat. Thankfully the meat wasn’t quite falling off the bone, but it did come off fairly easily. My experience level with Arkansas barbecue is somewhat limited, but Delta Q had some of the best I’ve eaten so far.

Is there anything worse than disappointing bbq? Looks to be a pretty new place, I found it online as I’m on a road trip. Very clean inside, gear smokey smells coming from the kitchen. Courteous staff that greeted me as soon as I walked in. I was able to get my order in quickly(typical Yankee always in a rush). As I was waiting the manager, I’m assuming, came out in a fluster assigning tables, coming across as very rude and disrespectful to the young women wait staff. Uh oh, never a good sign. Food comes out and my shoulders slump. Small portion of the main and bigger sides and a sorry looking bread roll thing. The chicken was a bit under(pink leg meat), I ordered it wet and the sauce tasted of vinegar and not much else. Potato salad was pretty good with a nice tang, served chilled. The beans, looked smelled and tasted like canned beans(overcooked and sweet) worth some pulled pork added. The bread, cold hard and nearly tasteless. I was in and out quickly. Wouldn’t come back if I was in the area again.

I had the Delta Q’s pulled pork sandwich. I was skeptical since I live in Memphis, the home of BBQ. I have to say, it was the BEST pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. The meat was so tender and juicy. I liked their hot BBQ sauce the best. I smothered my sandwich and fries with it.
