I would read reviews on other sires before using this company. Our experience with Towson Appliance was much more similar to the ones described on those rather than the review above.
We had an appt set for them to come out at 9am. we received a call at 8:30am that morning to find out they didn’t order the part they needed to do the work required. On top of making me miss a day of work for nothing, they were completely rude to us and treated us as if we were a bother to them. When we asked to speak to a manager we were handed off to someone that was even more abrasive than the original rep that was handling the call.
There are plenty of people that repair appliances in Baltimore. This company doesn’t respect people’s time or value their business. You may want to look elsewhere before calling them.

We have been using Towson Appliance for over a year now for both our primary home and our condo. Each time a technician comes out (4 times so far but never for a repeat issue), they are friendly, courteous, clean, and do a very thorough job while explaining everything to us in ‘plain language’. They have helped us to determine what to fix and what to replace based on the age of the appliance as well as the anticipated repair cost (s). A couple times too they pointed out problems they have had with particular style (say bottom freezers) or a model/​brand which is great! They have also mentioned to us based on the layout of our kitchens designs to focus on based on footmolding or they way the nearby cabinet drawers open/​close.
Their prices are very reasonable and if you have more than one appliance serviced in the same visit they give a bundled discount.
The ladies answering the phones (Shawna and Kim) are great too — they are patient with multiple calls, questions, and changes to appointments and explain what to expect really well.
Having 2 homes, I cringe when I learn we need to have a contractor/​repair company come in, but never with Towson Appliance — by far the most pleasant experience of them all.
