Carolyn was 20 – 30 minutes late to the showing and had to be telephoned because as she admitted,” she neglected to tell us” to meet her at her office. When she finally showed up (20 more minutes) she was rude from the first second. She told us to follow her to her office and sped off not waiting or seemingly caring that we were supposed to be following. Upon arrival at the office we were greeted inside by her dog. Which she made no effort to control. Same dog also drooled all over my lap after drinking water. No word about that behavior ether. While we were filling out our applications Carolyn treated all questions as an inconvenience and we were even told, «I have business that I need to do.» Funny enough, we thought we were there for business. Finally she wanted all of our banking information (essentially full access to our accounts) and I was told by the Sonoma County Renter Advocates that that is essentially asking for fraud. She stiffened up at that and became even more vicious in her tone and demeanor, continuing to speaking down to us. We informed her at that point that we wanted all of our information back and not only we were taking our business elsewhere, but we would be letting everyone know how Sequoia Properties treats prospective clients.

Very poor service with little follow through resulting in bad rental situations. Avoid this property management company at all costs.
