Garden Hair Beauty Salon

Based on a personal recommendation, I tried this place (thanks Sasha F.). I called Leo about 40 minutes before I could get there and told him that I knew I needed to cut off about 3″-4″ off my hair but that if he cut more than 1″ I couldn’t go to him. He chuckled and promised that he would only cut off what I asked him to. Can you believe he kept his word??? Then he goes on to ask me how I want my hair blown out… I’ve never gotten that question anywhere. Stylists always just blow straight down with a simple curl at the bottom. Not Leo, He told me to pick any of the styles from the posters he has up, whipped out the curling iron and got to work. I’ve never felt so taken care of. I am heading there again this afternoon and can’t wait to feel like a movie star again.
Ditto on the clean space, friendly staff, and fair prices. I’ll find out about the parking situation later.

Leo always makes the time whether early morning or late night. He listens to what I ask for and delivers. So glad I found him since I need monthly touch ups and Staff is helpful and attentive!
Organic products, clean space, great cuts, great blow outs and the prices for all services are very reasonable.

First time visitor and I GOT THE WORKS. SO AMAZING. GREAT PRICE. FEEL LIKE YOU ARE AT HOME. The deal I got was from groupon for hair straightening, I got a cut, straighten and an express facial. Totally satisfied.

Amazing experience with Neil and Linda!!! Got Japanese straightening and they put hard work, quality effort and genuine care into making my hair perfect. It was a three hour process and they were precise. Linda was a doll and made sure i ran to the deli for dinner so I could eat while my hair processed. Neil is a perfectionist and made sure each step was done flawlessly. I will definitely come back and if I could I’d give 10 stars! So happy I found this place! Totally worth the trek on public transport from staten island!

I received a grand opening «menu» in the mail so I figured I would take a walk and check out the new Salon. I am always in search of the best blowout, so I figured I would give it a try. The salon was very clean, and everyone was super friendly! I was lucky that Neil was available to do my blowout right away… All I can say is WOW!!! He did an amazing job, my hair was shiny, and bouncy, and it stayed that way for days!!! I came back 2 weeks later for a touch-​up, trim, and oil treatment, again my hair was AMAZING!
I am SO happy I discovered this gem of a salon, the work is great, the shop is clean, and the staff is wonderful, and the prices are fantastic… Do yourself a favor and give them a try, I am SO glad I did!
