Forest Hills Nursery & Kindergarten

They’re an excellent facility. My child attended for a few months.
He came home daily with crafts from activities. He learned a lot from daily lessons.
They’re clean. Ms Verda was very accommodating with me and our needs.
There was an «active» child in my son’s class and that child was abusive. Hitting my son on the head with toys. He was gone the next day. For that, I’m extremely glad that they do not tolerate having «active» children in the school. I would not be comfortable and would worry constantly about my child. «What’s that mark on his body?»
I would say that that the school leans towards being a bit like a Montessori in that kids have less structure and more space to discover and explore on their own. I liked that as well. There was just enough regiment while giving a young person room to take their time.
Overall, I’d recommend and put my child back in.

I am a bilingual school counselor in the public school system and have a 3 year old daughter. She loves this school. I wanted a nurturing place for my daughter with flexible hours. Ms. Jet is a lovely teacher with lots of patience. My daughter loves all the teacher in this school, especially Miss Kathy and Miss Maria. My daughter knows how to spell her name, she sings songs everyday, she uses imaginative play and constantly mimics her teacher Ms. Jet. I recommend this school to everybody. Ms. Varda is sweet and I truly feel that my daughter is well taken care of. My daughter was potty trained here, and is treated with great care. My daughter knows her alphabet and is starting to know the sounds to letters. Thank you to all the staff at Forest Hills Nursery & Kindergarten!
