I came here for the first time the day after the blizzard and was fairly impressed, much better than I had anticipated. Yes, it’s all about the green sauce. It goes great with everything. So delicious with a nice kick. I ordered half of a chicken with yellow rice and my husband the lomo saltado. We also ordered the fried calamari and manduros to share. The chicken was so moist and tasty. Not a bit dry. While the yellow rice looked boring, it was flavored well. The lomo saltado was a disappointment though. The beef was tough to a point where I had to spit a piece out because I couldn’t chew through it. It also had an iron taste to it despite being cooked through. Not a fan at all. The calamari was your typical calamari. It was fried well, not over-battered, and not too oily. Interestingly it did not come with any special side sauce, so we just used the green sauce — yay, more food to dunk in the green sauce! Having the option of at least a simple marinara sauce would have been nice though. The calamari was a huge portion. It does come with yucca fries underneath the calamari to, you know, make it look fuller(is my guess) but I’m not complaining. The manduros were okay. It was a good amount of food and we definitely had leftovers for the next day. We probably would just stick with the chicken next time versus venturing out and ordering beef here again. In terms of their service, I don’t have any complaints. The service was quick and attentive. Prices are very reasonable and they have some great combo specials. I see myself coming back.

The food is pretty good, and a GREAT deal for the money. But I was not thrilled with the service at the restaurant, the last time I was there. I had to practically BEG for a water refill, and the food came out well after those seated earlier than us were served… missing was the chicken, which we had to almost HOUND the waitress to get. The chicken: juicy, tender, and flavorful. It is exactly what you hope a Peruvian rotisserie chicken should be. The sides are basically average. You come here for chicken. For Peruvian chicken lovers, this is the place to be. Just beware of slow service and only average side dishes. Three stars is for dining in. For take out/delivery, I give this restaurant four stars.

Food is ok but the service is terrible. The lady who works there with the black hair is B****. She completely gave me an attitude because i thought the order was $ 19 when in it was really $ 20. Really? You are going to give me an attitude cause i got the price wrong? I used to come here for lunch all the time since i work right around the block but im never going back. Ill stick to the colombians in kew gardens.

After hearing about this place for some time, finally sat down to a wonderful meal. Half a chicken with rice and beans and tostones makes me a happy camper. The staff is attentive and the venue is clean. Parking can be a bit tricky but totally worth it. Thankfully my friend and I arrived before some other noisy patrons so be prepped for the close quarters.

This place is a dive but offers some good food! I found some dives are hidden gems this place falls slightly short! I would order from here again… Reluctantly. Food is somewhat greasy but has a ton of flavor sometimes too much! Parking as always is a problem but has no barring on my review!

My review is just based on the food, I haven’t dined in, only to-go and delivery. So there’s not too much to say, the food is good and delivery is quick so I don’t really have any complaints. Be sure to get their green sauce with your food, it’s really good.

If they were more accommodating they would get one more star since food is solid. Combo #2 generally covers everything I love from this place. However unlike other establishments this one in particular is: 1. super stingy: they’ve mastered the art of slicing the avocado the thinnest I have ever seen an avocado be sliced and still recognizable. It’s called«Avocado salad» for a reason… there should be more than ¼th of an avocado in there. If not please just rename the salad to crappy lettuce salad. 2. Did I mention super stingy? Order take out and you’ll get 2 little sauce containers ½−2/3 full of green sauce. This holds true even if you order a large amount such as the combo #2. Ask for extra sauce and if the guy is feeling generous he will give you 1 additional ½ full container. In the end if you’re a sauce lover you’ll be forced to pay the $ 5 for the pint in order to have enough for your meal. 3. Unaccomodating — Order a whole chicken(4 quarters). Most places will allow you to request for all dark meat. Not here… they go ask about availability of dark meat. Upon return the answer will always be «sorry, we don’t have». But when you ask if dark meat is available period… yes it is. I can’t speak for many other things on the menu as I’m so smitten by the above items that they’re usually my go-to. I end up with too much food to have room for experimenting with any new items on their menu.

I love ordering delivery or pick up from this place. It’s quick, inexpensive, and delicious if you’re in the mood for Latino flavors. This is a perfect weeknight dinner grab(always ready in 20 mins), or a change up from the usual pizza and Chinese grind. Go for the half chicken(all dark meat, if you’re looking for more flavor), yellow rice and beans, tostones, and an avocado salad. Chicken is rotisserie, so flavourful, falling off the bone. Ask for extra green sauce to amp up the taste of everything on your plate.

I’ve been coming here for almost four years and I also hit up the Ozone Park location. After a vacation to Peru, I was hooked on the cuisine and set out to find the best in NYC. For a time it was this spot. My other half and I couldn’t get enough. We’d eat here at least three times a month or grab takeout. Last night, after not visiting this location in about a year, we felt like we had stepped into a brand new restaurant. While two of the servers were familiar, there was a new girl who happened to have our table. The service was slow, the music was loud and similar to bar’s atmosphere. And the food. Omg the food. The Peruvian chicken and green sauce were both as I remembered along with the habichuelas and arroz. But the main staple for me, the beef chaufa, was absolutely horrible. We were so disappointed. The rice was sticky and the beef was cheap. After a long week and long workday, I didn’t even bother to ask what happened to what I remembered. I just wanted to leave. There must be new management/ownership and I’m hoping the Ozone Park and Jackson Heights locations haven’t changed.

I was a huge fan of this place up until today. They are very rude and act like they do not need our business. They are not very accommodating whats so ever. We placed a large order and asked for a little extra sauce and they wanted to charge 8 dollars for extra green sauce. I understand they have a profit to make, but that is not the way to treat your customer. Attitude for days and very impatient. I still stand by the quality of their food. It is delicious and always flavorful, however attitude is everything for me. Will not be giving them my business ever again.

Pollo Inka is a pretty solid place to get some good, inexpensive food. I usually opt for take out, but I recently ate at the restaurant. You can’t go wrong with their roasted chicken and green chili sauce. However, their french fries were very disappointing and just flavorless and soggy. Also, their sweet plantains were not that sweet and somewhat unripened. I’ve definitely had better experiences with their side dishes, but regardless I will be a repeat customer.

Me love me some spanish style rotisserie chicken and this place makes it pretty good. Not as good as Pio Pio but better than Tu Casa in Kew Gardens where I live. Chicken is juicy and flavorful like the maduros :) Salad was ehh until we put the sauce over it and we were like yess, the avocado made up for the presence of the despicable iceberg lettuce Yellow rice was okay, not the best but good, how could a spanish restaurant mess up rice anyways? Salchipapas…yum I ordered combo #2 but they only gave two tiny cups of that addicting crack green sauce :(I thought they’d give more considering that combo can feed a family, but I’ll definitely order from here again because Pio Pio is just too far

I am a frequent visitor of this restaurant and I must say ive never been dissapointed. Everything is tasty and the prices are reasonable. I am a huge fan of the calamari which also comes with fried yucca. I also love the avocado salad. You can get an entire meal to feed your whole family for 28.00 or less. My absolute favorite is the green sauce… to this day I am unsure as to what ingredients are in that sauce but im dying to find out. My only complaint is that at times the service has been a bit unpleasant but ive learned to ignore it at this point. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants in Queens.

I LOVE Peruvian food and this is one of my favorite spots in Queens! I’ve been going to this place for years and the quality of the food has only gotten better imo. I usually order the bistec a lo pobre and it’s like heaven on a plate. I had also tried the half a chicken, it was a little more on the greasy side, but still delicious. Place is pretty small good, if you’re bringing a party I would say max of 4 people. Very clean place, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Portions are heavy and I always have leftovers to take home. Great place for a bang for your buck. I do recommend!

We ordered combo #2 for pickup, for a quick dinner. First off the price for this went up from $ 22 – 25 to $ 27 plus tax! The salad was very standard, the only thing that made this salad good enough to eat was the thinly sliced avocado(5 slices maybe) on top. The fries with hot dog was horrible, walking out the restaurant we opened up the try to let the steam out to make sure the fries wont be soggy when we got home… guess what, It was ALREADYSOGGY and the hot dog slices — over cooked and really dry! The yellow rice was not impressive. The only thing that made this meal somewhat good was the chicken. It was well cooked and mostly juicy with the exception of the breast. Overall not satisfying dinner, The point was to avoid cooking all together for one night, had to bake the fires to try to ave them(barley helped) Would not return. And by no means worth the price.

Great little spot for some great Peruvian food! The staff was very accommodating, and the environment was welcoming. The chicken looks very yummy and fresh. I ordered the fried steak platter, which comes with quite some food! Well prepared and very filling for one person. The steak was a little hard for me but nonetheless, it had great flavor to it. Excellent customer service!

A couple of friends and I ordered a rotisserie chicken, fries and hot dog, rice and maduros, and avocado salad family meal to go the other night, and everything(well, minus the hot dogs) was delicious!

Me and 2 other friends ordered combo #2 for pick up. It included a whole chicken, salad(avocado, lettuce, carrots, cucumber, radishes), plantains, and hotdog & fries. This was plenty of food for 3 people and for only $ 25. The white meat of the chicken was dry and not too tasty. I heard the dark meat was better. Everything else tasted as it should We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it seemed super small and«cozy» I would definitely return to try other items on the menu. If not that, I would order the combo again since it was so much food at a great price
