I personally prefer other Uzbek restaurants in the area but this place is not bad. Food is good but their ambience is much nicer and fancier than most other Uzbek places in the neighborhood.

Every dish I tried was very deelish, my favorite plate was the Sea Bass shish kebab, and as well as the beef. Potatoes with mushroom, and onions were very good! Also the salads, the Lamb was awesome still can’t get the flavor out of my tastebuds! I’m assuming their not big on the wine selection, I might just skip it next time. Service was bit odd no English spoken, I guess it’s a cultural thing which I find quite interesting, and odd, but the food definately made up for the great time, and company. So I wouldn’t hesitate to try this place even if it’s to order out!

Had a bday party here. Food is good. Shish kabob is just plain bad. Décor is good, service is not too bad.

Total shit. Garbage. We had my mothers 60 birthday there last night. They served old and expedited food. Stale bread. I mean service was crap and they charged service fee automatically. My dads 65th is coming in a month, will definitely not do it here. I was throwing up all night because of their crap old food.

I had the pleasure of dining here and celebrating two occasions. One, most importantly, was the circumcision party of good friends of ours: George and Tami. They had a beautiful baby boy!!! The second intrinsic celebration was life itself. I mean after all it was 12⁄30. The year has officially winded down and for all intents and purposes, I was positioned amongst wonderful friends and wifey. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as traditional buharian music filled the room. The people were excited, jumping and drinking for joy. What better way to cap off a new year. The food was not a crying shame either. I personally enjoyed several salad dishes and even the sushi. It was reminiscent of our cultures wedding tables. The service was ALRIGHT, not too fast and not to slow. The food came out at a steady pace and my table was able to savor its tastes upon arrival. I personally enjoyed the samsa and lamb chops which were served on a bed of mashed potatoes and cooked tomato. The combination of eating, drinking JOHNNYBLACK and G-6’ing all night made for a fun night, even though some of the music was super traditional, it still had that family feel too. As the night eventually culminated around 11:30. We begin to scatter much to the dismay of Georges father, who is an OG and a cool drunk.(got hang out with that man lol). Big Shout out to G & T, and to their addition and blessed arrival of a baby boy to their young family. May they always be happy and joyful as I saw them last night. And happy joyous 2015 to all…

Odd setup with a few small tables in front. The rest of the place we’re private rooms in the back. I guess their people like to have separate rooms for eating. Food was okay. The lagman soup normally comes with handpulled noodles. I can’t believe this place used packaged upon noodles instead. When the shish kebabs came out, they redeemed themselves. It was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The Plov, or Americans say Pilaf, was excellent. However, it came out 20 minutes after we finished the kebabs. Service in general was quite slow. But overall a good experience with friends.

I love this bukharian restaurant and ate there many times The combination of Asian and Russian cuisine is just exquisite; shurpa, lagman, and pelmeni are my favorite soups and their bread is delicious. For the main dish get any kebab: sweetbread, lamb, veal and Lula kebab are exceptional I am giving them four stars only because the service is horrible with waiters who do not speak English and they tend to cater only to their Bukharian customers… Also the wait is substantial between each dish…

Food was good, service was a bit missing. Interesting set up, if you don’t speak Russian you might be out of place here.

In reference to the first review, you don’t come here to order Chinese food and sushi. Yes, they have it on the menu, but I don’t even know why. That’s like going to a indian restaurant and asking for lasagna. First thing you gotta do when you come is ask for the samsa or one of the other appetizers to start. Then you order a few sticks of lamb kebabs, some chicken, beef, and go nuts.

Waitress does not appear to speak English. Non-Russian customers seem to be ignored/forgotten/over-looked. Wall between restaurant and catering facility is thin and not sound-proof. Right now there are at least three competing music styles. The salad that was requested before the meal is still not here and it took 10 min to get water. First two pages of menu are ads for their other establishments and catering halls. When we asked the sushi chef to get our waitress so we could ask about the salad, he responded«I’m busy.» When waitress finally arrived with a very greasy Orange Beef, we asked about the salad and she responded«oh $h!/» and brought the salad. My friend had to wait an additional 20 minutes for her steak. Though her steak was ok, we will not be returning. Oh, the only time the staff is anywhere to be found is when they are waiting to be paid.

The sushi and the NY Da Mikelle Steak is the best choice of the menu! I did like shish kebabs as well, i think they were the best so fare in Queens. The steak is soft and spiked with grilled vegetables and mushed potato’s perfectly seasoned potato fries are crispy and downright addictive. And their selection of exotic salads isn’t to be missed(particularly the Avocado in she’ll and or Arugula with portobello mushrooms in the shell as we’ll, oh yes the archaic hunk is the best if you like a mild spice! In addition to being immensely tasty, the food is correctly priced Very highly recommended!!! They do have 6 or 8 privet rooms from 2 to 20 ppl
