Classic Windows

I’m sorry to read the negative experiences some folks have had with Steve at Classic Windows.
I first purchased window treatments from Steve over 20 years ago (1993 to be exact). At that time he did indeed have a store front on Metropolitan Avenue in Forest Hills.
More recently, I’ve purchased window treatments in 2012 (for my Kitchen) and 2013 (Master Bedroom). While Steve no longer has a storefront, I had no problem reaching him via phone and setting up an appointment for him to come to my apartment. The window treatments were installed without making a mess, and I continue to be very happy with both recent purchases.
I just called Steve today and he’ll be coming up next week so that I can purchase blinds for another one of my bedrooms.
Just another side of the coin from a happy customer of 20+ years.

Do NOT deal or give Steve your business. He lacks professionalism & he can care less about the people he does business with. He no longer even has a store front on metropolitan ave… works out of his home. Purchased blinds from him a few years back and had probs w the blinds but refuses to help send back the blinds to hunter Douglas where there’s a lifetime guarantee becos he’s either dying, is on site at a special project in Staten Island and now he’s on jury duty. Take your business elsewhere as he’s beyond shady n lacks any respect for his customers or even himself. Dying… ha. He’s a total joke! 1000 excuses is what you will get from him. Do yourself a favor n take your business to someone who cares or knows how to do business!
