I come here when I don’t feel like going to trader joes. I feel like everything in the store is over priced. I wanted strawberries and it was marked at $ 7. $ 7 for strawberries when I can get it for $ 4 at trader. Isles are very thin, no way you can go when it’s busy or you’ll regret it. The employees seem nice, I would say it’s an average super market. Good location right by the train & bus.

Does not carry products listed in the C Town sale Flyer. Always have an excuse for not having the product. Store has no competition in the area. Owners and manager don’t care. Not a pleasant place to shop.

A typical C-Town Supermarket on the corner of Queens Boulevard and 68th Avenue, cramped to shop inside with very narrow aisles, but large enough to offer most essentials. Entrance and exit are the same. Merchandise is standard for outer borough NYC. There are no standout items. The small deli counter usually has some decent rotisserie chicken, and a fine selection of meats and cheeses. There is a reasonably good bread selection, both fresh and packaged. Their refrigerated product selection is fairly extensive. There is no particular ethnic focus. Seasonal produce can be found outside, while the area just inside the entrance stocks predominantly packaged vegetables and herbs, with a very small organic vegetable section. Breadth of selection is limited. Overall produce choices and quality are superior at Yellowstone Farm just down the block. Prices are reasonable. Staff do their job but seem friendlier than the nearby Key Food. This C-Town location is nothing to look at and won’t be the place to look for a more unusual ingredient, but its a perfectly good neighborhood supermarket for regular food shopping.
