They have the best roasted duck in the entire Universe. I love the pad thai too. Staff are nice and polite. Definitely will come back more often.

This is an excellent restaurant! It’s high end, well thought out, complex and modern thai food. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

Nice, intimate space. Good service and great food. Came here after work to grab a bite with the hubby on his birthday. Had chicken drunken with pad Thai noodles and crab meat and shrimp spring rolls with a glass of Malbec. Hubby had red curry chicken with white rice and a lychee Ives tea. Very tasty and filling. Will be going back.

I wish that Bangkok would deliver all the way to Kew Gardens. This place has amazing Thai. If you like spicy, try the Papaya Salad and Tom Yom Soup. Never fails. The service is always excellent.

The best Thai in the neighborhood. Super affordable, cute interior, great service for both sitting in and takeout. Always consistent in taste! My husband and I love coming here when we want a nice portion of rice or noodles :)

The Pad Thai is the best I have ever had! It comes artistically garnished with a thin crêpe-sized egg omelet on top sort of reminiscent of how fondant tops a cake. My friend had the coconut shrimp and loved it!

Ordered a basil chicken lunch special and a pad thai chicken lunch special. Came with a choice of spring roll, chicken shrimp dumplings or vegetable dumplings. Got the spring roll and the chicken dumpling. The spring roll was okay. The chicken dumpling wasn’t what i expected it to be. This is more like a shu mai than a dumpling. The basil chicken was very spicy even though i ordered mild. The pad thai was very hard. Noodles needed to be cooked a bit more. I don’t think I will order from here again.

Been coming here forever(Since the older couple owned the restaurant years ago) & we stop by at least once a week! The service is stellar, the food excellent & the atmosphere, relaxed. You can’t go wrong ordering a selection of their starters /appetizers as that gives you a feel of the cuisine as this establishment. This is definitely a must try if you’re in the Forest Hills area.

I was highly surprised the food and cocktails were very good! The ginger honey lemonade was one of the better drinks. As for the food, the mango avocado salad, the vegetable dumpling, the pineapple fried rice and curry chcicken was delicious! The cost of the drinks cost more than the food!

Look this one up due to the other great Unilocal reviews. Not a pleasant experience at all. Came here on a nearly empty weekday and was not satisfied with the experience; I ordered the Massaman Curry and the Pad See Ew to-go.(which took much longer than it should) considering the fact that it wasn’t busy. I also noticed that everything on the menu was more so overpriced. When I finally got back with the food, I realized how poor the packaging was on the curry. It was everywhere.(I was extremely careful when I was holding it) I opened the second dish that I ordered which was the Pad See Ew with Tofu, and was confused by the darkish color that it had.(Too much sauce?) Not only that, but the noodles were literally in small chunks. Let me say, I’ve had Pad See Ew many times before, and I hate writing bad reviews, but this one was just terrible. It was a total fail. It looked and taste very poorly done. I couldn’t taste any flavor to it. The little tofu chunks were also disappointing, very hard and didn’t taste fresh at all. Needless to say, this will be my last visit!

The food is high quality, and the service is good. For sure this is the best Thai restaurant in Forest Hills. In particular this place is terrific for the lunch special. $ 8.95 for a soup or salad, appetizer, and entrée. It’s a good deal and the food is good. This is one of the best lunch deals in the neighborhood! Anyway, I am happy there is a decent Thai restaurant in Forest Hills, and I have eaten here many times. The other day I had some comfort food — pad thai for lunch. It really hit the spot.

Our go-to spot for Thai in Forest Hills. Met a friend here last night and we noticed they updated their menus — not really sure what changed though besides being nicer looking. Food is good, service is great.

Ordered delivery directly from the restaurant without going through the online delivery option. Food arrived within 40 mins. Ordered tamarind duck, bbq pork and papaya salad. The menu clearly says half duck but lady who picked up the call told us it’s ¼ duck. For $ 19, its not a lot of duck. Duck was very crispy but skin was a little overly crispy as if was fried a bit too long. BBQ pork was delicious. Full of flavors and portion was about 5 sticks. And we were pretty happy wirh the papaya salad. You can ask for the mild –hot option for papaya salad. Even medium spicy can be pretty hot so beware. Definitely not bad for being neighborhood delivery go to.

Thanks to a recommendation I was able to try out a great restaurant. I gave Bangkok Cuisine a visit on a Friday afternoon and was surprised how busy it was considering we went on a weekday. The lunch special is only $ 8-$ 9, depending on the type of meat you have(or vegetables or tofu if you choose). The special also comes with an appetizer(spring rolls, vegetable dumplings, or chicken & shrimp dumplings). It also comes with a choice of soup or salad. If you choose the soup you will be given vegetable soup which is very good. For appetizer I had the vegetable dumplings, while my friend had the spring rolls. Both are excellent. I chose the green curry with tofu as my main dish. It was very flavorful but a little too spicy. My spice tolerance is too low for the green curry but I enjoyed my dish anyway. My friend had the drunken noodles, which are noodles in basil. It was one of the best drunken noodles I ever had. I also had the mango Thai iced tea. Its expensive($ 4) but pretty expensive if you consider how little liquid is in the cup. The cup looks long which can make you think you are getting a lot but if you look at how skinny it is, one can tell how ridiculously cheap they are when it comes to making the drink. I asked for less ice yet my drink came with a lot of ice. Do they not know what less ice is?! How could one not know? As for the taste, it’s great. The sweetness is perfect; it’s not too sweet. The mango flavor is a great addition to the drink. The lychee Thai iced tea is great as well. What a great addition to the neighborhood.

I stopped by for lunch here with my husband for a late Monday lunch. The restaurant was half full and even though it was day time the lighting was still pretty dim. The servers were very energetic and we were seated right away. For lunch they had an awesome $ 8 – 9 lunch special(depending on the meat you choose for the main course.) I chose the chicken and shrimp dumplings, the salad, and the pork bbq, with a side of thai ice tea. Everything was so delicious. After eating the salad and the dumplings I was already pretty full. The portions were very reasonable, and when my pork bbq came it had a side of rice along with it. For only $ 8 it’s totally a sweet deal.

Ended up here because we weren’t able to get a table at Cabana, a few stores down. We were left standing in the cold with nowhere to dine. It was my mom’s bday thus I had to fix this and fast. So of course I turned to Unilocal and saw that Bangkok was a fews steps away which was perfect because I love Thai food anyway… At least that’s what I told everyone to redeem myself from bad planning. Walked in, asked for a table for five and it was ready in less than five minutes because fortunately a group was just leaving. The service was quick, and I know this because the parking meter didn’t laps, the servers were efficent and mastered the art of quick water refills, the décor was nice; as for the food, I was not at all impressed with my green curry. The food lacked flavor and it had a weird consistency, which sorta curdled. I must mention though, that my mom did say that she liked her food; might have been because I was paying and she wanted to be modest… Then again she is not one to hold her tongue so I’ll just roll with it. Since it was her bday I guess it’s all that matters. I would say give it a try!

Came here for a solo lunch and was seated immediately. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea and it came out momenta after I was seated. Perfect balance of tea and milk. This restaurant offers a lunch special starting at 8 $. Lots to choose from. The lunch special comes with an appetizer, soup or salad and your entrée with protein of your choice. Steak and shrimp are 9 $. I had the spring rolls with salad and the pad see ew with chicken. The salad was fresh with a spicy peanut dressing. The spring rolls were a little oily. Had a good crunch which paired with the dip. However, because the rolls are pre made they contained black pepper which I don’t like. My entrée I was specific with no pepper powder and that’s how it came out. The noodles were still chewy. Plenty of chicken but shy on the veggies. Very good meal but the server lacked service at my table.

Clearly Forest Hills isn’t the place to go for Thai food, but if you’re not blessed to live in Elmhurst or Jackson Heights, what are you supposed to do? The pad kee mao was solid but unfortunately does not have a trace of heat. Not.A.Trace. The curry puffs were really soft and mushy. While the ginger mojito was delicious, it was almost un-drinkable because of the TONS of pieces of raw ginger that clog up the straw. They need to make a syrup from the ginger, or just infuse the rum, something’s gotta be done about that. It’s also comically massive, so there’s no getting around ingesting a ton of the damn stuff if you want to finish your drink. Service is nice, décor is lovely.
