My fiancé and I have lived in Rego Park for over two years, and have considered eating at aged a number of times. Due to the higher than average prices and mixed/inconsistent reviews, we kept choosing other restaurants. Ultimately, a move is imminent, and we figured, let’s just see for ourselves. I’m so glad we did. From the restoration hardware décor, perfect lighting, and attentive waitstaff — the experience was lovely. To start, we shared the burrata and the calamari — both were very good. I had a glass of Malbec, and my fiancé had the margarita. For dinner, I ordered the skirt steak(which came with delicious sautéed veggies), and he had the NY strip steak. They were cooked slightly over what we asked(medium rare came medium and medium came medium well), but we were super happy nonetheless. Both steaks were delicious. They were also very accommodating when we asked for double veggies instead of the mashed for one of the dishes. They also gave us marinara for the calamari, in addition to the aioli it normally comes with. I should also mention that the steaks were huge, and we left feeling very full and very satisfied. We will definitely be back! We hear their brunch is also quite good.

This place is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in New York. Absolutely DONOTGOHERE.

We stopped here trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. We ordered the Atlantic salmon and the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Both dishes were amazing. The only downfall was that the bread was amazing… The raisin one but everytime we asked for it we only got two pieces. But over all was amazing.

I have been here numerous times throughout the past few years. Unfortunately, the quality of the food seems to have gone downhill with each passing year. Last time I went my friend ordered a pasta dish that was tasteless. Stay away from their french onion soup as it tastes like a bucket of salt. I hope they improve on the food since they are charging manhattan prices in Queens.

I was a little hesitant to try this place since the reviews are kind of mixed… Decided to give it a try because we know that not everyone has the same experience. We stopped by early evening on a Sunday no problems being seated. Once we got settled we started with some cocktails I tried the Thai flower very good nice taste nice & strong. My company had a Grey Goose martini good as well. Am surprised that they don’t start u off with any kind of bread or anything not a big deal but don’t recall coming across this elsewhere. Appetizers originally I wanted the Crab cakes was told they were out a bit disappointed but oh well we had the Calamari & Popcorn Shrimp. Calamari was very good, nice big pieces always like it when places do this & don’t over fried it tastes so much better, good Marinara for dipping. The Popcorn Shrimp was also very good, lightly battered just like the Calamari nice taste & good dipping sauce. Main meal I had the Skirt Steak comes w veggies & garlic mash potatoes, good steak I asked for it medium & it was cooked just right steak was juicy & tender, dipping sauce was not bad Good veggies & mash potatoes. My company had the NY Strip big piece of meat here 16oz to be exact this doesn’t come with anything he had it with asparagus. Steak was cooked just right at medium, nice piece of meat as well juicy & tender I wasn’t too crazy about the sauce it came with dipped it in mine & it was good. As for the place itself it’s kind of small with a simple décor, they manage to have a small bar to the side. Service was good, prices are high but decent in comparison, we enjoyed our meal.

Previously ate there and it was great. Made reservations today and no Air Conditioning at all. 85 degrees out and 100 inside. We couldn’t stay. Maybe we will try again in the fall but definitely not a summer eating place. 12÷12÷15 — Third try and it is just my wife and I. We order drinks and the waiter brings one drink. OK, nothing big but the entrée comes(my wife ordered a rib eye and backed potato). They bring out a baked potato and walk away. When asked where the rib eye was the waiter looked confused. Did he honestly think she ordered just a baked potato? Then he takes my plate to keep it warm. Sorry, not coming back. While the rib eye was good(eventually) the baked potato was terrible. I had the lobster pasta which was a few lumps of lobster and was just OK. We were then asked if we wanted desert to which we said no. The waiter brings out a big slice of chocolate cake. Nice try but my wife is a diabetic so it would have killed her. There was a resin we said no. It seems the waiters just don’t listen. Not worth the price or annoyance.

I came here for Saturday brunch with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and their pecan tart dessert is to die for. The only complaint I have is that I ordered the poached eggs over crabmeat. To confirm the other reviews here — the eggs are hard boiled not poached. My boyfriend ordered the sourdough sandwich which he said was«ok» it could of used a little spice or kick to it. But we’re low maintenance people for $ 17.95 we weren’t going to complain. The food was still delicious. We will definitely return for dinner to see what the entrees are like.

I was in the neighborhood and came in for a late but quick lunch before my next meeting. I’ve heard of this place before and I’m shocked about the mixed reviews. I had a great experience. The first thing that greets you is a friendly staff, lovely interior décor, and nice music, perfect for a relaxed lunch. I had the French onion soup, and mixed green salad. I enjoyed them. The French onion soup was sooo delicious. The salad was fresh and I liked the Charlotte vinegarette dressing. My waiter was very also very nice and fast. I am very impressed at how quickly they delivered a fantastic lunch since I was in a hurry. I will come back.

It will take a lot for a steak restaurant to earn my 5 stars. There are not too many restaurants make it better than when I make it at home(in terms of freshness, flavor and price point). If the meat is good quality, it will taste good without any fancy sauce. I eat small portion, so a large piece of steak will just waste $. So to pay $ 50+ a piece of steak at the restaurant, it will need the whole package(service, décor, other non-steak food, etc). Came here with a coupon for prix-fixe dinner for 2. bread and butter — bread was served warm(nice), butter was a big thin square on a plate, sweet and unsalted, still cold and not easy to spread on the bread 1st course — Burrata(5 stars) — was the star of the whole experience. We loved the balsamic vinegar so much that we almost licked the plate. — French onion soup(3 stars) — had a nice layer of cheese on top, good flavor. We skipped the butter and dunked the bread into the soup too. 2nd course — linguine alla amatriciana(3 stars) — loved the cured pork, the pasta had quite a bit of garlic pieces and was strong in flavor. — mushroom risotto(3 stars) — while linguine was strong in flavor, risotto was light and tasty. main course — porterhouse for 2(4 stars) — asked for medium rare and it came out medium rare, good job — is it the best steak I ever had? No but it is pretty good. However, not sure I would pay full price of $ 99. dessert — chocolate mousse cake(3 stars) — is the better of the two. It was not heavy and tasty. — cheesecake(3 stars) — surprisingly, this was light and not too sweet. T ordered Pescatore(Fisherman) pasta($ 26 — 3 stars) — It was quite a large portion with lot of seafood(mussels, clams, squid, etc) over a pile of squid ink linguine. The sauce had strong flavor and a nice kick too. The décor is nice with lot of woods everywhere. The seat at the wall was a bit low, hence the table was a bit too high for eating. It looked like it had only one waiter for the entire restaurant with a few helpers. Some of the things took a bit longer to arrive, but not too bad. We ordered coffee and they never came. Service was just okay(with only one waiter), no one smiled. Music was nice. Strange that we asked our leftover porterhouse(with 3 pieces left) to go and we only got 2 pieces in the box. What happened to the 3rd piece? In summary, I had low expectation of the food and surprised that they turned out pretty good. If I am near the neighborhood, I may visit again and try their brunch or lunch.

This place kept growing on me, more and more throughout my brunch experience. My girlfriends and I wanted to have a nice little bottomless brunch reunion/gathering but didn’t want to trek all the way to the city and pay an absurd amount of money. One of the girls suggested Aged right here in Forest Hills(close to the E/F subway stops) and how they offered weekend brunch for only $ 17.95 with unlimited champagne. We were sold! We made a reservation for the 5 of us at 1pm, showed up on time, but weren’t seated until 1:30. That was a little annoying. Once we were sat we had to wait a little bit for our champagne to come, but once it did we were happy campers. We all really enjoyed the décor inside — modern, hip, but still classy. It wasn’t too big, so it didn’t get extremely loud. We also appreciated that it wasn’t a bottomless brunch restaurant where girls get belligerent drunk and cause a scene/commotion. I noticed a lot of people in their mid-late 20’s and 30’s dining here, so it was more on the sophisticated brunch side. It was the perfect ambiance/setting for our girls brunch gathering. Not to mention I loved the type of music they were subtly playing in the background — JLo, Pitbull, Enrique, I believe I heard the Nae Nae at one point too lol. They had a good variety of brunch entrees to choose from. Since they are a steakhouse, we all ordered the steak and eggs or the breakfast burger, which everyone enjoyed very much. I also couldn’t believe how fast our food came! It literally felt like 10 – 15 min after we ordered that we received our food. No complaints there! Everything was served hot, descent sized portions, and very flavorful(my burger was very juicy, just the way I like it). The waitresses were very accommodating but you could tell they were busy, especially towards the beginning of our brunch. They were in charge of refilling everyone’s champagne glasses; overall they did a good job but there were a handful of times where we had to flag them down to get refills. Since brunch ends at 3, we had better service then. They let us stay a little longer than our allotted 90 minutes which was extremely nice and even let us receive the free dessert for checking in on Unilocal even though that’s meant for dinner/the evening. Overall, we all enjoyed our brunch experience at Aged!

I have been going to this place for years, the steak is always cooked as requested. The service is really good & the restaurant is beautiful. The drinks are delicious. I’ve had the lamb chops, oysters, crab meat, shrimp cocktail, filet migon, skirt steak, hanger steak, the cream spinach & New England clam chowder. Do I come here too much?!? I honestly do love this place & everything is delicious. Never disappointed, but I have never made it to brunch & im working on it.

I was so excited to see a dry aged steakhouse in Forest Hills. I used to work at one and miss the delicious steaks! Well, to be honest, I don’t think these are dry aged. They overcooked the steaks, first off. The texture wasn’t silky like it should be and it wasn’t seasoned at all. I did like the free bread because the place is busy and that means that the food can take longer. Despite the business, the service was very attentive– our water glasses were always full. Due to the large crowd, it is also very loud in there. Sadly, I won’t be going back.

Love the décor! The place is very nice, has a great old timer ambiance to it. The staff is very nice and quick services at moments. It took us a while to have a waitress come over but once she did we got our drinks automatically. They have a great brunch selection and unlimited champs!!! That’s a huge bonus! The food was good, not amazing just good. I order the salmon eggs Benedict and something was off in the sense that it was way to sweet! I’m. It sure if it was the muffin or the sauce but it had a sweet taste that I don’t think fit to the meal. Over all it was good. The eggs were great and the salad that came with was delicious. I didn’t know if have beans it in I would have asked to not have that I don’t like beans. And the potatoes were GREAT! My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs, everything was perfectly seasoned the eggs were great! The only thing was that he order medium done and we got well done which I didn’t like but other then that I wouldn’t mind ordering this again. Great experience!

When you hit the 3 stars on Unilocal,it says the place is «A-OK». And honestly, that’s what i would say about Aged. We went for brunch on a Saturday, good crowd… i really liked the décor here. Not to mention, unlimited Champagne is always a YES. Service was good, nice and quick and attentive. We ordered: Monte Cristo– a touch dry… since they forgot the yogurt dipping sauce, however once I got the sauce it wasn’t very tasty. The sandwich itself was tasty, and the fries were nice and crispy. Eggs Benedict– not my thing, but my date said it was very tasty. Also with a nice side of potatoes that were really good! I liked this place… I would def come back and try dinner here.

I’m shocked as to how much I enjoyed this restaurant. Seriously. Shocked. I read the reviews and saw that so many people just found it «A-OK», but to each their own. My boyfriend and I came here for brunch. Key things to know: 1– For $ 18 you can have your meal AND bottomless champagne. WORD??? Yes. Amazing. 2– For $ 2.95 you can have a mimosa or bloody mary or screwdriver. 3– The Chicken brunch sandwhich was by far the best thing i’ve eaten at a brunch Tip– Order the bottomless champagne, and then order a glass of orange juice if you want a mimosa. My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs(medium) and it was the perfect portion. He really enjoyed his meal and I enjoyed the small bite he let me have. I ordered this chicken sandwhich. So delicious! I would recommend that they use a different bacon, but it was still absolutely delicious. The chipotle sauce on the sandwhich was just divine. I was too full to order dessert, but I would definitely come back again!

My wife and I went for an early lunch on a Friday afternoon. We were the only customer in the restaurant when we arrived. We were greeted kindly by the manager and shown to a table by the front windows. The restaurant is very pretty with lots of natural light. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We both ordered the lunch specials. I ordered the French onion soup and steak sandwich while my wife ordered the salad and fish and chips. The onion soup was delicious. Lots of crunch Gruyère cheese melted on the sides of the crock. Sweet caramelized onions and bread within. My wife thought her salad was nice and that the dressing was delicious. My steak sandwich was a little disappointing. Another reviewer commented that when they ordered their steak, they weren’t asked how they wanted it cooked. I was not asked either. It was more like a Philly cheese steak minus the cheese. Onions, peppers and mushrooms masked the fact that there were only two small slices of meat on each half. The fries were the best part of the plate. Crunchy and well seasoned. My wife’s fish and chips was very greasy, as many are, but delicious. I wound up eating hers because the oil was too much for her. She commented that is was delicious but she should have known better than to order something deep fried. Lunch came with coffee or tea and the coffee was very good. I would give it one more try. It was good but not good enough to travel 20 minutes for. If you live in the area, it’s a good deal.

Went on a Saturday for brunch, $ 17.95 for all brunch menu items & that includes 90 min of unlimited champagne & also coffee & tea. The space is cute, very open layout. Trendy fixtures & well decorated. Very close to Austin St where you can shop & such. Let me first say I’m not a big champagne drinker, but this was sweet & it was flowing so I was about 7 – 8 deep & ended up really liking that it was a bottomless option. The wait staff was very professional & accommodating & they were walking around ready with the champagne so that was all a plus. BF ordered the brunch burger(comes with steak fries) & I looked down to start cutting my meal & by the time I was done cutting he was done with the whole burger lol. So he enjoyed it & even said he would def re-order. I got the poached eggs & crab… its crab Benedict lol. You can choose other meats though. I loved it. It was a lot of food & I couldn’t even finish it, regrettably. It comes with a mixed greens salad & some potatoes. Every item was good, even the salad & potatoes. I would definitely re-order! It was a really good atmosphere & we had a chance to talk to the couple next to us & they travel in from Bushwick every weekend so that’s definitely a good indicator! I saw on the menu that they had brunch drinks: mimosa, Bloody Mary & a few others & they were priced at $ 8 – 9 so I asked the server & she said they’re changing the menu & they’re $ 2.95…so I got a Bloody Mary & it was made very well. I would definitely check it out of you like any bottomless options in NYC& the area is great.

The food is way below average here. This is my third time here and I can tell you that the only consistent thing here is the food and the quality. It is super bland, uncreative and just flat out bad. Do yourself a favor and head a few doors next door to The Grill. The only thing AGED has going for itself is the ambiance and its location. What a trap.

Went on weekend for brunch. $ 17.95 for entrée and 90 min of unlimited champagne. If you want a mimosa you have to buy it by the glass separately for $ 9. Seriosuly, this place is on such a budget it can’t add the orange juice to the champagne to make it a mimosa? Steak and eggs were okay. Toast was overdone and steak was really chewy. The best thing were my fried eggs. BF had the sourdough bread which he said he gives 2⁄5. Waiter seemed impatient and just wanted to take out orders. Hostess at the entrance was nice though. Overall, nice out door seating in Foresthills but not worth a revisit. Thumbs down.

Grabbed brunch with my boyfriend on a Saturday afternoon and fortunately grabbed an outdoor table — love outdoor seating. Food: — steak and eggs. it was good — could have been a bit more flavorful. The steak was more well done than medium well. It came with salad and toast. Drinks: — unlimited champagne… great! the staff was not stingy either. Service: — Pretty good… Food was served very quickly and the drinks, too. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and the price was about right. roughly $ 20pp.
