Ordered off grubhub and did not have a problem– nice. Also appreciated that they showed up 10 minutes before the estimated delivery time, with free homemade iced tea. Not really sure what that was about, but hey– I’m not complaining. ANYWAY… on to the food! The highlights for me were the bone-in ribs. Not a single rib was overcooked, and if you get bone in ribs from Chinese food places you know almost everyone sneaks a few pieces of coal into the bottom of the hot bags. The crab rangoon were perfect, and my egg roll was excellent as well. The general tsao’s chicken had a bit too much runny sauce in it, and the chicken had no crunch. That said, the flavor was really good. My wife said the chicken chow fun was ok– but a little flavorless. The sauce from the dumplings and scallion pancakes got poured over it to help out. The steamed dumplings themselves were awesome– perfect dough to meat ratio– but I was not a huge fan of the dipping sauce. I’d say it was just«ok.» The big miss was the scallion pancake. When they showed up they were floppy and soaked in oil. We had to blot them and toast them on medium heat twice. After that they were good, but still a bit greasy. Overall, I’d give these guys another shot and seriously consider them as my new go to.
