Truly TLC Pet Sitting

I couldn’t ask for better pet sitters! I have an old, grumpy, diabetic kitty who takes a long time to warm up to new people. Amanda and Jared are so patient and understanding with her. Both kitties seem so much happier with Amanda and Jared taking care of them! AND they always leave the house looking great! Amanda even washed the litter scoops!!! I mean how awesome is that! I love these guys and highly recommend them for your pet sitting needs!

We used TLC for cat sitting when we were out of town for a week and Jared was EXCELLENT! We couldn’t be happier with the service. With other services we used in the past, the sitter would be in and out of our house in 30 minutes, hardly enough time to feed, clean and water two cats and then have enough left over to play with them. Jared really spent time playing with out kitties and getting them some much needed exercise. They can be destructive when they get bored so after a week, I was preparing myself for the worst. When I walked in the door, our home was exactly how we left it, all furniture in tact and two very content cats. Jared also left very detailed notes about everything, so I feel like I didn’t miss a beat. Would be very helpful if you have pets with medical issues that need extra supervision. Would highly recommend TLC and Jared!

What a relief finding Truly TLC Pet Sitting has been! Our 2 dogs are not the easiest to deal with so I never thought it was possible for us to find a service that would take us on. Our dog Leilani is a rescue and comes from an abusive past. She is VERY timid and takes a long time to trust people. Truly TLC has went the extra mile to get her use to them by spending extra time with her, being very patient and caring. Leilani is now starting to come out of her shell with walkers Amanda and Jared. I can tell she is even enjoying her walks, they are so happy once I get home after they have been walked! Lynn manages things and is great! She reply’s to all my text messages and has fit us in last minute on many occasions. I can always count on them whether we are going out of town for a few days, a daily walk when needed or even to add us onto the schedule when I forget to leave the air conditioner on for the dogs and it turns into a hot day. Thank you Truly TLC — Lynn, Jared and Amanda for taking such good care of our girls Makana and Leilani!

Lynn and her team have cared for our 3y/​o Pitt/​lab mix since she was a puppy. They go above and beyond and are very trustworthy. I feel comfortable and confident that Lolly will be well taken cared of every visit and that my home will be too.

I was really scared to have a stranger come into my home to take care of my babies. But there was no way they could survive doggy day care — nor could I afford it. I took a chance and called Truly TLC and have never looked back! Lynn and Jared have been taking care of my girls daily for about 8 months. I call Lynn and Jared their «other family» as they take care of my girls like they were their own dogs. They are reliable and always willing to be flexible if an emergency happens. I feel very lucky to have found someone like them! 5 star service!

We moved here January 2013 and I needed to find a pet sitter for our 2 cats when we were going back to Florida for a few days in March. Being new to the area, we really didn’t know who to ask. My husband suggested asking the staff at Pet Supply, the local pet shop that we found nearby, if they had any recommendations, and Lynn was one of the pet sitters he recommended.
When we met Lynn & Jared, we were impressed at how they approached our little scaredy-​cats, and we decided to hire Truly TLC, even though they charged a few dollars more for coming out to our area from where she is in Foothill Ranch. They are worth the extra few dollars. Right before our trip, Hobbes had some tummy problems, and I was going to cancel my trip entirely, since he had to get liquid meds 2x a day. I didn’t want to stress him out even more by going away, but my husband convinced me to just go a day later to make sure the test results from the vet didn’t indicate a bigger problem. So here we were, new home, new cat sitter, not only taking care of Luna and Hobbes for the first time, but now having to give Hobbes meds?
I’m glad we trusted them. Hobbes managed to get his meds (although I’m sure it was an ordeal to do so). I received text messages from Lynn letting us know that all was well. When we came home, she had «reports» on each day’s activities: time in, time out, how much food was eaten, what was scooped out of the litter box (!), demeanor, how many treats given, and a summary of what they did with the cats while they were there. We have used several cat sitters in the past when we lived in FL, but nobody was that detailed — and we were impressed that these were not just short visits — they spent a good amount of time with them, allowing the cats to trust them more.
We have since used them several times since, and continue to do so. They love when Lynn & Jared come by and play laser toy with them! Hobbes loves being petted (by me and my husband– usually he hides from anyone but us), and he actually let them pet him! What really floored us was the last time they sat for us, Luna let them pet her too — and believe me, she never wants to be petted! I was stunned!
I still hate leaving my babies, but at least I know they will be well taken care of when we’re gone!

My family and I were planning a two week vacation and we needed someone to take care of our diabetic cat. We had used someone in the past, who had a small child, who she brought with her, when she was taking care of the cat. Our cat is used to adults in the house and the small child stressed her. Truly TLC Pet Sitting was referred to me through Pet Smart and I was very happy with the experience. Our house was nice and clean when we got home and our cat seemed to be happy. Lynn did text me and call me while we were gone as I requested. I would definitely use Truly TLC Pet Sitting again in the future.

Pet sitting is difficult under the best circumstances. But mix pet sitting with a pet that is angry about being left behind, having the sitter to visit a strangers home in order to check on the pet, having to clean up after the pet and charge a reasonable price for the service — tough duty!
Lynn and her son Jared are able to overcome all the adverse conditions and provide a valued and trusted service. The next time you are planning to head out of town but are worried about your pet, call Lynn. She will pet sit without you moving your favorite animal to a kennel.
