I called to set up my appt with J who really knows my hair. I was told over the phone that J no longer worked here but that she was able to help me. I asked if they had the name of the hair color used on me before because I have two colors plus a toner. I hesitated, but because I have a trip in two days I really had to try to be seen. Upon walking in, I was received kindly and by name, reassured that she would be with me shortly. I recognized her voice and knew it was the same person who answered the phone. She reassured me that she was well equipped to do the color, highlights and that she had my colors written down. So, I am sitting here with Chistina, relaxed by her gentle hand and excited to see the final color. What professionalism.

Had a very bad experience. very bad customer service… i was a regular customer but not anymore… booked online with Ayoko. the online system showed she is available at 1:45 pm. Came here at 1:40 pm. I saw her(Ayoko) took another walk-in customer before me. When i asked about it the lady at the front desk said that thats how they operate. i said then what about online booking. she was very rude. dumb person. She told me to talk to the Manager who herself was leaving for the day and paid no attention to the conversation. will call customer service and tell them about my experience. will also be posting on Unilocal… and guess what i am writing this review while sitting just next door at sportclips

I was all set to visit«John’s Barber Lounge» in Lake Forest when i got there too late. Closed! So, needing a haircut real bad for an upcoming job interview, I visited this Supercuts in Foothill Ranch. I wish I could take that decision back. Since this was my first time there I didn’t want any drastic/short cut«just a little off the top and a #2 shave above ears.» Simple right? I left there with #2 shave well above my ears and the top shorter than I asked. The back was even worse. Now, I can deal with bad cuts but, when a stylist doesn’t listen to what’s asked, I draw the line. TOEVERYSTYLIST. LISTENTOYOURCUSTOMER. HE/SHE MAYBEGOINGTO A JOBINTERVIEW, GETTINGFAMILYPORTRAITSTAKEN, MAYBEGOINGON A 1STDATE. Treat every customer as such! Take your job serious, please. I will never step foot in this Supercuts again. Had a good experience here. My son, 8 years old, normally complains about haircuts hurting. He said it was pain free with Christina. There was no wait time. The cut was exactly what we asked for. The cut was $ 15, which is more than I usually pay, but worth it since it was pain free.

My husband received a haircut here and came home complaining his neck kind of hurt. Attached is a picture of what his neck looked like after receiving a haircut from Super Cuts. This is caused from the buzzer being used too close to the skin. He isn’t the type of guy to complain, he’ll just never go back. I’m taking the liberty to speak on his behalf and post this negative review. This is unacceptable and it upsets me that someone who has a license to cut hair did this.

2 simple instructions is all I have provided to any barber I have been to in SoCal. Short on the sides and back. And use scissors on the top. I even provide the trimmer number on the sides and back that I use everytime. This is the second big disaster I had at supercuts today. The first one was in San Diego, after which, I decided never to see the face of this haircut disaster chain ever. But moving to Irvine, and this being nearest to my home, I decided to give it another shot. The result is, my hair looks so bad, I will need to wear a cap from tomorrow, until my hair grows back. The hair is super long at places, and super short at others making it uneven at top of my head. I did some readjustment myself after coming home, but it is all done now. I even feel like shaving my head, to get a fresh vegetation to grow and take its own course. Well, lesson learnt. Never coming to super cuts again.

They are the worst with appointments. I checked in to get a hair cut an hour ahead of time with the super cuts app and they don’t even acknowledge it! Have to wait multiple people before me that didn’t use the app. DONOT go here when using the super cuts app!!!

First time here, and I will be returning again. The service was great, I was greeted by a smiling associate as soon as I walked in the door, and they were able to get me in right away. My stylist, Ayako, was very attentive and took her time to make sure it was done right. She checked with me several times to make sure I was happy with it, starting with a slightly longer length, and trimming it down until it was exactly where I wanted it. Very happy with the results.

Literally the worst experience of my life. If I could give zero stars I would. I will never return. My hair was butchered. I asked for a trim but I also asked for layers. I showed the lady(Asian lady named Ayako) what I wanted. I told her I wanted the layers to blend… And what I got was straight chopped layers. It does not blend at all. The hair around my face is choppy and uneven. She blow dried it and curled it under, hiding all the mistakes she made and when I got home and washed my hair it came out horribly. I will never ever step foot in a place like this again. I will be going back to ask for a refund so I can take my business elsewhere to get my hair fixed.

Worst service ever, no one cares to check-in. I was waiting for 10 minutes before someone even looked at me. Then one of the stylists looked at me and still ignored me. Could not take it anymore and I just walked out, never going there again.

For a chain franchise store, I am very surprised at the level of customer service here. I normally go to John’s Barber, but as of late they are busy(which is good for them), but this time I didn’t want to wait. I was greeted very promptly, and was taken in by Tim. Coming from a barbershop he knew that there were probably some things I wanted to be done differently for a fade that normal places don’t do. He made sure every time he cut, he asked questions and if my hair length was this short or this long every so often. Even though the haircut didn’t come out to what I expected(I relayed the message wrong to him in regards to what number we used), but I will definitely come back here. I love this area in Foothill ranch because there’s typically no wait, I came in at 7PM and didn’t have to wait at all. Thumbs up for this place!

Three strikes you’re out! Love to come here for the convenience and the people are good but you need to ditch the Supercuts app. Third time in a row I have tried to use the app showed up nobody available to cut my hair as expected. Waited 15 minutes then went to fantastic Sam’s. When I schedule my appointment on the app and it shows that I should be there at 11:45 because there is no waiting, someone in the store is obviously not monitoring the wait time. Maybe a training issue? Hope you get it right because it is a good idea but I would ditch it if you can’t monitor it properly.

I’d been looking for a good haircut for the past two years but had never been satisfied 100%. When I moved to Foothill Ranch, I tried out this Supercuts location and was pleasantly surprised. Christina cut my hair the first time but she had left by my next haircut. Luckily, Leticia cut my hair the second time and did such an amazing job that I decided I would always check-in with her for all my future haircuts. She even threw in a free hair shampooing because I had to wait a little. They also send coupon emails for discounted haircuts!

Disappointed with my haircut I had received. All I asked for was a trim and some layers to frame my face — simple. But the guy ended up making my hair super choppy and short!!! Now I have to try to curl my hair or wear it up in order for the bad haircut to blend in or not look so undesirable. I know I shouldn’t expect it to be that great because after all it’s just Supercut’s but I didn’t think they would mess it up that bad! Definitely never coming back to them again

I had my hair cut for almost 2 years by Sherri(district manager), and after moving around a lot(I got some bad trims) I can tell you it’s a nice convenience when you don’t have to worry about receiving a bad haircut. That said, I moved to Foothill Ranch and cheated on Sherri. Leticia and I are now going strong for close to a year. I cheated on Sherri once before, got burned, and came crawling back… but not this time(fingers crossed). Leticia is awesome and very close so there’s no long distance commuting :) Thanks Supercuts!

Have used this location for about a year, and they are great. All the stylists are really awesome, and are super friendly and efficient. The price is right and the quality is good. I do recommend that you plan ahead, because while you can walk in, there are times they get busy and may have to wait. But you can call ahead or use their app and get checked in to help that. But it usually isn’t more than 15 – 20 minutes, and let’s face it, I’ve been to high price salons and the stylist has been overbooked to where I’ve have to wait, so what’s the difference? A little patience, and the extra money that I’ve saved.. Score!

I’ve been to this supercuts location 2 times, & each time, I walked out happy & well groomed. The stylists are very nice, Juanita did my cut this time & I believe the lady who did mine previously was named Rosa; both very nice, personable, & can give a no-nonsense haircut quickly. They’ll talk to you along the way & if you want to go a different direction, they adjust well with a little direction. Very happy with this place, I feel lucky to have it just down the street from me. Will recommend to friends & family, thanks again guys! *****

I like this Supercuts location. I had my hair cut by Tim… and went back 6 weeks later to get another haircut but he wasnt working. The girl who cut my hair was good as well, I cant remember her name. Both made suggestions for products, but neither were pushy, which I appreciate. They introduced me to the app on the phone, which tells you the current wait time and allows you to check in and save some time. I am trying to be good about getting my hair trimmed every six weeks, and so far I am impressed with this location and will continue to return!
