Ralphs

We just came in here to get some clearance stuff. There was a lot of it in the back.
We used the self-​checkouts. They had rotating bag holders capable of holding 4 plastic bags. Not that we had that many groceries, but at least if we bought a lot here we don’t have to worry about it all overflowing unlike the other branches with a maximum of 2 bags capacity.
The prices were good for the clearance stuff we bought.

We have been shopping at this Ralph’s for almost a year. For the most part, we enjoy shopping here. Most of the employees are friendly and customer service oriented. They have a goal of achieving high customer satisfaction from random customer surveys. I have always enjoyed my interactions with the employees, especially in the pharmacy.
This store does have some issues. Sometimes, the produce is not the freshest. I am very particular with produce and sometimes have trouble selecting apples, mushrooms, lettuce, bell peppers, and carrots. It seems to be hit and miss on the freshness.
The other problem is that sale items often go out-​of-​stock. This past week, they had Northern toilet paper on sale. It was out-​of-​stock on the first day of the sale.
If it wasn’t for the friendly faces at this store, it would have been a one-​star review. I like the employees. I just wish they did a better job of keeping the sales items in stock and the produce fresh.

This location is relatively clean, is well stocked for the most part. However the half the staff is very friendly the other don’t seem like they care to help at all. The one great thing is this place is open until midnight on most days so that makes it great for late night shopping. Typically doesn’t have too many people here or long lines that’s why I prefer to come here.

This review would be a lot higher if the meat department new what they were talking about.
Very excited to see that this location at some point in time will be selling Organic meats! They have organic rib eyes labeled with cost!!! Unfortunately stocker was stocking their organic section with «natural» beef and tried to explain to me that vegetarian diet is organic. Had to explain to them the difference between organic and natural and he still didn’t get it.
Will update next time I’m here to see if they have started stocking their organic beef section

Seriously one of the best Ralph’s I’ve gone to! Yes I’m a local to the supermarket and I just choose no other place even if the stuff I need is cheaper in other stores! The friendliness of the staff here is superb. I went in there to get a cake make for my gender reveal party, explained what I need gave the baker a picture of the cake I wanted and they made me just what I wanted! Whenever I go to the meat dept I am greeted and asked if I need any help and James (I think is his name) always tells if there is ever any specific thing you need let me know and I’ll make sure to order it and I’ll have it here for you right away! That’s what service is all about. Deli dept can use some critiquing some of them that work there are friendly some are just hating every minute they are there and helping you… they hate life in general nothing to do with the individual they are helping. Sandwiches are ok not too out of this world. Floral dept never really dealt with nor did I go to the pharmacy dept. Now the checkout stands I usually go to self checkout but when I do see Paul the manager or younger boy Michael helping at a checkout stand I have to go see them and say hello! Those two faces are some of the friendliest faces I have seen around. Paul the manager is seriously such a good man and really loves Ralph’s as if it’s his home. One time I over heard him with an annoying customer that I probably would have been like you know what Albertsons or stater bros is down the street go there I hear they have an awesome store! But no Paul handled it so great he was kind loving and PATIENT! more of reason for me to stick to this Ralph’s! Thank you for such an awesome team!

extremely rude woman working at the bakery. she was rude when I wanted to get a cake and gave me attitude. I’ll take my business to albertsons.

Disappointed to learn today that the photo machine which allows for custom cakes is broken– bakery person said they could possibly free-​hand the design, but that would be impossible for this particular cake. Lost revenue for the store as I’ll go to a competitor.

I make a monthly Starbucks coffee purchase for my office totaling $ 400+ each month. This morning I made the monthly purchase and was greeted by an unfriendly older gentleman stocking shelves in the coffee aisle (Jim?). He saw my basket and started lecturing me on taking all of his stock off the shelves. I started to feel a little uncomfortable about him being upset over me making the purchase so I asked him if he wanted me to put some items back on the shelf? He said YES and then asked if I could make another purchase 2 days later so I wouldn’t be interfering with his entire stock. So rude! I felt lectured and belittled so I won’t be returning to this location.

Our neighborhood grocery store with friendly staff… the store is clean. We love shopping here. Have not had a bad experience in the last 11 years.

I find everything I need. Clean store. Love the manager special prices on random bread, meat, and deli products. I’ve noticed the regulars are treated like family and the people who’ve been there longer know some customers by name. One guy even greeted a regular customer’s kid sweetly. I thought it was cute and could tell it was genuine. A little too shy to introduce myself to them and get the same 5-​star treatment. Great place!

I don’t live in the area, but I do like to hike in Whiting Ranch, and it always seems like my daughter needs a little bit for the loop hike, so Ralph’s is the perfect place to stop. I don’t know what it takes to get a 3* rating for a supermarket, but I don’t think this one deserves it. It is clean, bright and the produce section is great (that’s where she gets her snacks).
So by all means, pop in here. And if you park in the lot when you use the trail (I don’t any more, usually), at least stop in to get some water or snacks and give the place a bit of business.

Ralphs in Foothill Ranch has great customer service. The self-​checkout is very convenient and there is someone near to help, if needed. The produce is good quality. Regular prices are bit high but comparable to other big chains. Sales are frequent and offer good deals. You have to have a Rewards card. The program changed recently. I liked it before when I got a check to use at Ralphs. Now it’s a discount at Shell which I never go to. The meat department is the most lacking. Variety is not good and quality lacks, too. I think product sits there too long. I started to shop here because of convenience, but now I like it. Usually, I use coupons and end up getting a lot for the cost.

This is a really great Ralphs with a huge selection of all sorts of items. Very clean and organized, and it has hardwood floors which give a it a fancy, upscale appeal, perfect for the Foothill Ranch crowd… I seldom shop here but was impressed with their beer and wine aisle. A vast selection with all sorts of Ralphs Club deals on some hard to find imported and craft beers.

Not bad, not bad.
Well organized. Well lit. Lots of sales on.
Would I come out of my way to go here? No. Good for the local community? Sure.

I will be honest… I have only been here once. However, I’ve been to lots of grocery stores in my life, so I feel pretty qualified. I came here a few days before Christmas, and although it was busy it was easy to navigate and the store was well-​stocked. The employees were really helpful. In particular the guys manning the check out were great and efficient.

How awesome is it when you find unadvertised special on items you actually like and use? That’s me shopping at Ralphs today and accidentally found Farmer John cooked ham and Hebrew National beef salami on sale, thanks to manager’s special pricing. It made my day! Yay!

The cleanest and most organized Ralph’s I have ever been into.

I have worked by this Ralph’s location for several years and have developed a good fondness of this location. I come here on holidays and special occasions to get flowers and cards for my wife and the selections are large, varied and priced very well. The shelved at this location are stocked well with food, the sales are great and they even have a fresh sushi section near the deli that is a nice difference I haven’t seen at other locations.
The staff here is usually very quick to offer help in finding anything and the store is kept quite clean and is located in a nice area of Foothill Ranch near several fast food restaurants and shops. I will definitely continue to frequent this location.

I don’t know why people are so negative about this location. I really enjoy shopping here, they never are out of what I want. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Its a great grocery store, I have nothing negative to say.
The pharmacy is great too!

I will always prefer the supermarkets in California for one reason, ALCOHOL!
Very elegant Ralph’s located in what appears to be a brand spanking new shopping center. Well lit, clean, easy to navigate, shelves full of groceries and non perishable items. Giant alcohol section. I would live here if it were socially acceptable.
