Wingstop

I visit a lot of Wingstops and they are great. However this is the most poorly managed that I have experienced. The manger is so confrontational and difficult that it amazes me. Needs better customer skills. The staff there however is generally nice.
Too bad this is the only one close to where I live…

Just came back from getting our wonderful fries n my hubby likes Atomic n I usually get the BBq ones but they have a new flavor that I am so glad I tried it is called the «Smoke9. Omg it is the best one out of all I have tried n I have tried pretty much all of them. Smokey-​sweet n the seasonings are out of this world. This is my new fav one-​must try! And the fries have me salivating before I even leave the place I have one in my mouth.

Love the wings and fries but i do miss the old staff they made it feel like a better experience and environment. Like times i was the only one there and i would talk to them like the old manager trista she was so kind now when i go the new staff doesnt seem as open to being as friendly they do there job sure but its nice to go over the top sometimes. I read alot of bad reviews of the new management and staff none of those have happened to me yet. Please dont mess up my wings or fries!
UPDATE: went last week with my grandmother and the lady taking our order was very kind i dont remember her name :(but she even let me try a sample of the smoke 9 wing and ooo it was good. It only has a one flame on the heat chart but when i ordered my own it felt like fire to me. I could just be a wimp lol anyways the place has gotten better and more friendly since my last review :)

This place is great. Food is fast, fresh, and hot every time and service is nice. This has total turn around compared to the last I was here.
Only problem is that I can’t find a trash can to throw my trash away, but I guess that’s part of the service here

Used to be a regular here, but stopped going after a string of bad experiences. Recently decided to give it a second chance and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the new manager Kyle is. He went above and beyond to make my experience the best it could be. Will definitely be coming here on a weekly basis from now on!

When you charge people for ranch make sure you PUT IT IN THE BAG!!! It’s inconvenient when a customer (me) comes in to make a to-​go order and leaves to only find that the order is not 100%. Food looks good fries are great and even the customer service provided was excellent however missing one key mark can truly damage a persons confidence with this location. Wingstop is my favorite place to eat and I’ve been craving for a few days now. Missing the ranch that I was charged for and then when I call, you offer to give it to me if I came back, is not helping me at all. I am on the other side of Folsom and going back to waist my gas and time isn’t what I expected. I’ll take this loss but just know this location better get it right next time or else they will hear it from me in person. 3 stars cause food looks great, could have been 5 but I’m missing the ranch to dip my fries and wings in. #HungryLivesMatter #BeConsistent

Worst spot ever. Took my order at 6:48 and got my order at 7:08. There no one in the lobby. 6 worker. Wow.

My family has been eating at Wing Stop for years. There has been a change in management recently. Sadly, it hasn’t been for the better.
Quality control seems lacking. This is a chain restaurant. People expect consistency. The old crew had that going for them. Not anymore. On my last few visits my fries have been either cold, over seasoned, under seasoned or soggy. The potato salad has a different texture. It’s almost the same as it used to be, but you can taste the difference. So far, I haven’t noticed a significant change in the wing quality.
The last few times we ordered take out. My husband always orders blue cheese dressing. 3 trips in a row he’s been given ranch instead of blue cheese. Big mistake. This is a wing place. Ranch & blue cheese are your main sauces. You simply must be able to tell them apart. If you’re ordering take out, check your order carefully.
There seems to be either a lack of training or simply lack of knowledge regarding the menu. I was in the store one evening trying to figure out the most cost effective way of ordering for my husband & I. I wasn’t ordering enough for a family pack & I was in on a night where wings were 50¢ each. The manager couldn’t help me, so he had another gal work with me. Neither person knew the menu well enough to actually tell me how best to order my meal. I think the gal just knew the register better than the manager. It’s not a fancy place or anything, but geez! I worked at a fast food place, too. I actually knew the menu well enough to help customers out.
Reading my review, you might wonder why I wrote it at all. Most of the things I cite in my review are minor and fixable. I’m genuinely hoping that the new crew gets it together so I can write a follow up about how much better the place has gotten. Until the reviews get better, I’m not going back.

We used to go in when Trista was the manager. She was amazing, all of her employees were very kind and professional, and they never messed any of our orders up. The restaurant was always busy and had a great family feel. Last time I went in, they were under new management. We ordered from a very nice gentleman up front and sat down, ready for some delicious wings.
Well, we waited for about 35 minutes before they asked us what our order was (they forgot). After they received our order for the second time, one of the employees went outside for what I’m assuming was a smoke break since he went outside and sat in his car for about ten minutes. When he can back in, they had to ask us again what our order was, and then got a call from another unhappy customer who had received the wrong to-​go order. Once we finally got our meal, the boneless wings tasted as though they were double fried or just warmed up, as opposed to the old fresh taste. The fries were barely warm.
Anyway, near the end of our meal I noticed the lady that got the wrong to go order come in. They did not make her a new and correct order, nor did they refund her. They asked her to come in the next day to speak with the manager.
All in all, I’m very disappointed with where Wing Stop has gone since the change in management. And the strange smell in the restaurant when we went in.

First time to wingstop, definitely going back, thanks to some recommendations from a guy named Hubert.
wing combo/​wing fam pack… oh yeah!!.

The staff here is super friendly but they always seem to be scrambling. I worked at this Wingstop under their old management, whoever took over management has done a horrendous job. You need to train your employees! They won’t know what to do unless you teach them, better yet, get in their with them. Trista (the old manager that I worked with) was there all the time helping out, not once have I seen a manager in here!
They’re also always understaffed, I worked at two different Wingstop locations, this one and the one in Rancho Cordova off of Zinfandel. We never had fewer than four people during the day, and three during the night. Usually we had around 6 or 7 employees working depending on the day, but I only see two people working at this location every time I come! From experience I can say that is not enough, shame on management! Give them the tools and help to succeed and they will, but you are FAILING as an owner!

Been coming here since they opened. The new manager is awesome and so is the expanded menu!

Wings aren’t very good, they are 100% heated in the microwave. Restaurant smells like literal feces. I’m pretty certain either the foundation of the building is farting, or someone shit their pants… Twice.

This place used to be great. The family that ran the place till recently was always spot on. The owner switched out to team of his buddies from the ghetto and poof, the place now sucks. Totally incapable bafoons. I placed my on line order 3 days early for super bowl and when I got there it was a virtual riot. Everybody was just asking for their money back and walking out. Last years super bowl went flawless with the old management. Now i have to find a wing place.

Weekly Regular here, asked for water cup, got a response saying, «we don’t have any and we aren’t required to provide you one» (in the rudest tone). last time I come here. very unprofessional.

Wings were very good as was the cole slaw. Service was so terrible that it made the food secondary. They got one of our orders wrong (there were three of us). While they remade that order, very slowly, they did not bring out the other two. When they finally did bring them out they were cold. Charges were wrong, change was wrong, food was given to go when we had ordered it for eating there and the attitude was that it was all our fault.
Even with good wings I doubt I’ll ever go back.

They have the best wing flavors hands down anywhere.
Having worked at a competitor wing joint this place is always been my favorite and will be.
They have many flavors ranging from Sweet to crazy hot. They have the list and traditional wings so everybody gets what they want.
They have these amazing what I call «sugar fries «amazingggggggggg
You have to try them.
I recommend the boneless wings because I don’t like to mess around with bones, I just want to eat. But the traditional wings have more flavor.
My favorite flavors our: lemon pepper, Parmesan garlic, and honey barbecue. I’m not much of a spicy eater but if you do they have something for you to.

Went there at 11:45 PM and they were closed. It says all over the front that they are open until midnight.

My wife and I only decided to eat here because the burger joint next door did not have wi fi and wingstop did. And what a pleasant surprise it was. We happened to be here on .50 cent wing day. We mixed it up and got 4 hickory smoked bbq, 4 louisiana rubs and 4 garlic parmisians. It was a great mix with a large seasoned fries for about $ 10.00. Quite the bargain.
We also have a 7 month old and want to thank Sabrina who was awesome, giving him carrot sticks and being very accomodating. She went above and beyond.

We love coming here. Great wings and friendly, polite staff. Mondays and Tuesdays are .50 boneless. Well worth it when feeding teenagers.
