I’ve been using MaidPro on and off for for several years. So far I’ve been incredibly happy with the service. The biggest thing I like is the pricing, in my opinion it is fair pricing. I paid roughly $ 100/month for a kitchen, living/dining room including entry/hallway and stairs. If I added a bathroom or two it’d normally increase the price by $ 20 – 40 depending on how dirty they were. So far I’ve never had any issues with scheduling, or spots going uncleaned.etc. Every time the team shows up at my door they’ve always been prompt and respectful to my house. I’ve also interfaced with Doug(the owner) several times. He seems very nice and has always adapted to my schedule to fit my needs. I look forward to when I can use them again!

So terrible. Every time is a disappointment. I’ve tried to be okay with their service having used them three or four times but after today’s visit I’ve thrown in the dirty towel. Here’s the scoop. Doug ran a deal and emailed it out Friday night. With no one to speak to over the weekend that left me having to call on Monday morning. I asked to schedule sometime later in the week or preferably the following week. Doug responded that it either had to be that day or the the next as he had a lull for those days. Wow, that doesn’t give one much time to clear off the counter tops and and such. Thanks for the considerate offer. As long as it works for you Doug. Well, regardless of that side of things I needed some help cleaning so I bit. I accommodated Doug and scheduled for Tuesday at 1:00. When the crew still hadn’t arrived at 3:00 I called in. Elizabeth no longer works there and so I spoke with the new phone woman Julie. She apologized and asked if I would like them to come sometime around 4ish or whenever they might get there. Really?(Yeah, I’d love to have dinner with them and watch some T.V. too.) Obviously, that was a no, so we rescheduled for the next day, Wednesday, today. They came a half hour late. You can count on a lack of punctuality with their service every single time. Being late is their best and most reliable skill. Two women arrived today. One of them I had specifically asked Doug not to send out to my home again. She has a bad attitude plus on a past visit she ignored my request for her to take off her shoes. Beside wearing them around the house on my tile she took it up a notch and wore them onto a two thousand dollar area rug I recently purchased from Restoration Hardware. Nice, right? They are suppose to be helping not making things worse. I had told Doug about this but not sending her back to my home obviously fell on his deaf ears. For brevity here’s a partial lowdown on what happened today. The shoe woman really did nothing but fake going through the motions like a child who fakes eating her vegetables by pushing them round the plate. The other crew member upstairs took an hour and a half to clean the master bath. Please note that I had cleaned off all the counter tops, sponged down the sinks and shower floor and left Comet bleaching them. I also had cleaned the toilet myself the day before. What on earth was she doing in there for all that time?!! She told me my glass cleaner wasn’t strong enough and that was the problem. C’mon. By the way, I was cleaning like mad myself the entire time. It shamed neither of them into putting in effort. Okay, so here is the grand finale. The one woman who fakes cleaning told me it was to much work to vacuum my tile floor. OMG!!! Are you kidding me?!! This is what you are here for. That was the last straw. I called Julie and told her what was going on. She told me she’d need to put me on hold while she spoke to Doug. Ten minutes later I hung up. I called back and she giggled saying I must of disappeared into space. Uh, okay. The correct action is suppose to be, Call your client back! Anyway, she then told me Doug didn’t have time to speak to me and he had left. Very nice. She said that she had spoken with the woman who fake works and that I had her doing chores that are not on their list. False. The crew member did none of the chores Julie relayed to me. Also, the chores she mentioned are indeed on their«49 Point Checklist» For example, dusting the windowsills. But believe me when I say, about only five of the items on their list were actually performed. Save yourself time, money, and a general pain in the butt. Do it yourself or call another company.

Let me first disclose that I’m writing this review although MaidPro never made it to cleaning the home. I submitted the form for an estimate online. I got a call the following Tuesday when business hours resumed. They gave me the highest quote of any company I’ve called. When I asked them to come look at the house, we agreed on a day and time. He was 20 minutes late, without a call or any type of notice. After the estimate he said I would receive an email for a quote in about an hour. Well it’s been over 24 hours now and I have yet to receive an email for the final quote. Very unprofessional.

I called at 11AM to get as same day cleaning. Doug and Elizabeth were very accommodating, they arranged to have a 2 person crew at the apartment at 2. Yessica and Cici showed up at 2:30 because of some problems with directions. They did a fantastic job, very thorough and professional. At the end of the job they asked if there was anything else i needed cleaned which there wasn’t. The price was lower than quoted over the phone. I would highly recommend Maid Pro and ask for Yessica and Cici.
