I had a computer issue — data had to be found on a backup drive, and seemed to be gone. A family member looked into fixing the problem, and was quoted over $ 1000 (!) for the job; I took it to Drop Zone, my go-​to computer guys, and they were able to find and recover all the lost files for a small fraction of the other quote. They even found and removed viruses from the backup drive (which I didn’t even think about), and helped me make a second copy of the data.
Every time I’ve had a serious computer issue, they’ve been able to help. Their customer service, professionalism, and clear desire to do what’s right for each customer is second to none. If you need any help with a computer (or lost data) issue, Jeff and Steve are the ones to see.

My baby’s back from the hospital! I went to the Apple Store and they tried to charge me a butt load of $ ($ 700) but I went to #DropZone in Folsom and they saved me more than half of what Apple was trying to charge me (saved me $ 500). Having retired from the retail business it is seldom that I give a five star rating. But Jeff at drop zone deserves six stars. Computer repair is a business that many of us old timers know very little about and can be taken advantage of very easily. Our laptop had a massive heart attack and needed a new hard drive! I was quoted $ 99 for the new part. When we stopped by to pickup the repaired computer, Jeff explained that the part they received was smaller in the GB and therefore was less money than quoted! How many businessmen are that honest? The quality of the service and repair was perfect. If you need computer service, it would be a serious mistake to go anywhere else.

After dissatisfaction with several other companies, we discovered Drop Zone and are absolutely thrilled that we have found Jeff and Steve who are incredibly knowledgeable, totally professional and really care about their customers as people. Both my wife and I have brought in our computers with severe problems and not only have they solved the problems, but when we come back or call with little things that bother us, they take the time to walk us through a solution and send us on our way with computers that are like new again. Cannot recommend them more highly!

5 star rating which I don’t give very often unless a business truly gives 5 star service which this business clearly did provide me. I brought my red hp laptop in to get the screen fixed since my sons accidentally cracked it horse playing in the house.
The team here is extremely focused on quality workmanship and quality customers service along with reasonable price for repairs. My laptop looks brand new as if I picked it up from the store the first day I purchased it.
The screen functions flawlessly without any noticeable difference between my old screen and the new one the replaced for me. Heck I couldn’t even tell the thing had been opened and worked on they are that good and I would highly recommend this computer repair shop to anyone looking to get their machines worked on without having to buy a completely new machine.
These rock and are by far the best I’ve seen in the Sacramento region to date. Thank you for making me feel like a priority customer with a super fast turn around which I might add is another unforeseen thing that rarely happens in pc repair shops, these guys know there stuff and work fast!

No surprise that Drop Zone Computer Company appears at the top of the list for Computers in Folsom. I have been coming to this business for over ten years, and visiting it each time is like visiting with family. Steve and Jeff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Whether building my desktop computer from scratch (which I am using right now for review, event though it’s over 5 years old) or just cleaning off my laptop, they are trustworthy and a great value. I can’t speak highly enough about them and know they will treat you with the same courtesy and diligence that I have come to appreciate and enjoy over the years.

Drop Zone stands behind their work. They will are unwilling to have a dissatisfied customer and will make sure you are pleased with their work and service.

Need help with your computer? Well, this is the place to go. They recommended and installed a gaming graphics card and new power supply for my grandsons computer. Even thought it was at Christmas time, they did the job in one day. They explained how to connect the monitors and gave us an adapter that we might need. Computer is running great and my Grandson is very happy which makes me happy! This the third time I have used their services and I recommend you do so as well.

Steve Jeff at Drop Zone have taking care of me for years. Every time I have an issue with my computer system I run to them and I’m back to business in no time. They have even taken time just to talk through problems I couldn’t figure out on my own.
I’d recommend their business to anybody.

Two brothers operate this place and provide excellent service. Went to them without having any idea of what to expect. Needed my oldie Dell de-​bugged and minor upgrades. Took care of business, had a minor issue afterwards which they gladly took care of… No extra charges…

Had a hard drive crash. These guys did a great job of replacing the drive, re-​installing Windows 7 and recovering recent data that had not been backed up. I still had to do work as expected (re-​install programs, move files around, etc) but DZ was very communicative, friendly and thorough. Will definitely consider them for my next Win 8.1 or 9 home computer!

I have been a customer of Drop Zone for 6 or 7 years. Bottom line, If you have any issues dealing with your computers, networking, programming, troubleshooting, Go see these two guys, Jeff & Steve. They run their Business with Professionalism, Pride, and with the personal touch that makes it the neighborhood store everyone trust and everyone goes to. They guarantee their work, they do not do what is not necessary, And, they usually do it with a smile. I just took my desktop computer in because the hard drive crashed. They identified the problem, fixed it, came in just under the quote they gave me, And my computer is faster than when I bought it, and that is a true statement. I recommend Drop Zone to my family & friends, always.

I love these guys. They know their stuff and always friendly. I feel safe leaving my computer with them to fix. I will continue to take my computers to them. Happy they are available so I don’t have to use Geek Squad and hope they fix my computer right. For me it’s worth the drive from Placerville. I know the job will get done right the first time.

We needed a new, up-​to-​date gaming computer. My friend who works for Intel recommended this place. I can honestly say, this is the first place EVER that met and far exceeded my expectations for putting together a «real» gaming computer for us. Steve and Jeff gave me my options for what gear to put into the computer, from budget to high-​end. The final product was amazing. In the past, we went to computer places and said, «We’d like a fast computer» and the result was a slow one that was out-​of-​date upon pickup. Not this place! And their service was fast. They are honest guys and well worth a try!

Great customer service and support from these guys. Steve did a great job in helping resolve the issue with my dead flash drive. Next time I will think twice before going to Best Buy for help with my problems.
Overall, Steve and Jeff are great owners who should be given your full support as a respective local business. We all know how difficult it can be in running a successful shop in a city like Folsom, let alone anywhere for that matter.
I think anyone who looking for computer help should consider these guys. Best Buy wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars to fix my travel drive and didn’t even bother to examine what was wrong with my drive and figure out if it was even salvageable.
