Not only are we loyal customers but when my husband and I decided to renew our vows, our hired caterer had to be fired 2 days before our event and we were left without food for our event so Dickeys came to our rescue. We called them and they were beyond courteous and helpful. Our event was for 60 people and they were able to accommodate all of our needs and provide my beloved brisket. Our event was super successful and we were actually very happy that everything worked out so well. All of the food was delicious and the meat was so moist and perfect. Half of our guests asked who did the catering and were so shocked when I told them that it was Dickeys. Highly recommend for any catering needs or even if you need a great place for lunch or dinner.

Love the ribs and Beef Brisket at Dickey’s! Kids are all about the Mac and Cheese! And who doesn’t love the free ice cream for dessert!

The last 3 times I have eaten here I have gotten extremely sick. I have talked to other people and they have said the same thing. There is something going on in this place that is not ok.

This place is extremely good, there is nothing on the menu that I wouldn’t order. Extremely good customer service, very clean, and decent prices. The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is because the catering and take out seems a little unorganized and overpriced. Besides that, I love this place. And who can complain about free ice cream!

I’ll start with first impressions as I entered the restaurant for the first time at around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. Looking around I was quickly struck by what I perceived as «corporate ambiance», now I’m only guessing, but I’m going to assume the interior décor is the same for most if not all Dickeys restaurants. My family is mainly from the South, and on the occasions I’ve visited there, I’ve always appreciated the unique«homey» interiors of the BBQ joints we visited for smoked meats. My visit today felt like a Mc’ds with faux hand painted signs and menu board. Next up my ordering experience. A young man asks if I’d like to order, yes please I answer and ask for: 3 meat plate = 1 pulled pork + 2 brisket Side of mac & cheese Side of jalapeño beans The young man fills a couple of cups in front of me, one with the Mac, the other with the beans. He hands those to a female coworker who rings me up. $ 15 and change. She tells me she put regular sauce in the bag and that if I wanted smokey or spicy it was on the counter behind me. I walk over to find a pump type dispenser for the hickory/smokey sauce and a metal tub with no lid or cover on it with a long handle ladle for the spicy. I go for the pump and left the«tub-o-germs» alone. As an aside, the sauce dispensers are next to the beverage dispenser, and in true to form Folsom, as I was filling one little cup of sauce, I was descended upon by a couple of rude, «can’t wait my turn» jerks needing to get lids or straws for their drinks. But I digress… Finally the food: what I received was technically correct I guess. There was some meat, a couple of pickle and onion slices, some sauce, and what has to be the worlds smallest roll I’ve ever seen. The two sides were present also. But in reality there should have been twice as much brisket than pulled pork if I ordered«double brisket» right? Nope, got more pork, and the pork had little flavor and was dry. The poor brisket I did receive was so finely chopped that it would fall off my fork. The brisket tasted ok but was salty. The jalapeño beans were not spicy as I had anticipated and the Mac & cheese looked like cheese whiz and pasta thrown together. The only plus side was that the regular BBQ sauce was pretty good. Overall, my entire experience was very negative and I highly doubt I’ll ever try Dickeys in the future.

Jennifer was very rude when I call to place my order over the phone. She said it would be ready in 10 mins. I’m at the restaurant still waiting after 40 mins.

Friendly, outgoing staff and great food. Ordering my favorite BBQ chicken sandwich is easy at dickies… and I’m kinda picky. This barbeque place has me hooked! They have a large selection to choose from you including sandwiches, meals, awesome sides and free soft serve ice cream, that my boys just love! Good food and an affordable price

First time trying. Cute country atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high for a cafeteria style restaurant. Didn’t have the BBQ smell inside that I was looking forward to. Convenient location. Will try again.

It was our first time eating here and I will definitely be back for sure, service was great when I first walked in there was a young lady voice who greeted me and my husbund as we were walking in, we were just about to leave because there was a few people in line, but when we heard the young lady who greeted us we said ohhh why won’t we just give this place a try. So we waited in line and there was about 4 people ahead of us we thought it was going to take a while because there was only 3 workers working on the line but it sure went by pretty fast, food was a bit pricey but the portion and service was worth the price, food was great everything tasted fresh and juicy will definitely be back for a second plate!!! Finally we found a place with great BBq food and great service!!!

one word.BARBECUE.Love the food, but had to take the kids in Sunday night and man was it super busy. As soon as i step in the door i hear a young lady saying«hi welcome to dickeys» very warm greeting indeed. Im waiting in line and kids already saying i want ice cream, didnt even start ordering food yet. It was busy but the staff looked calm and ready for the rush and boy did they do a great job. The manager Mali was on her«A» game and got everybody in and out of there like there was no tomorrow. She told me and the kiddos to dont forget our ice cream and how our food was and left us with a smile. Thanks. Overall satisfaction, well the stars tell all. Thanks Dickeys i will be back another time.

Went there on a Friday at 630. There were three people in front of me. I waited 17 minutes and did not move an inch. I watched the guy three people in front of me order brisket, which they were out of on a Friday night! The guy ordered a salad with no dressing which came back dripping with ranch. The girl with the nose ring kept wiping her nose on her sleeve. Anyway, I waited and waited and never ate. Continued: I posted my review and got some nasty massages directly from the owner — complete with personal attacks and foul language! Nice!!! But, I read some other reviews and it seems this guy wants to attack unhappy customers rather than improve his restaurant.

Well like I said, I’d come back for Sundays kids eat free! :) Delicious food and friendly staff. She reminded us to get some free ice cream at the end and cleared all our plates for us. I felt she went above and beyond as an employee. I wish I knew her name. She was sweet to us, and friendly with other children I saw her interact with. (She’s blonde and looked like the only girl working today 3−1−15, around 12.)

Stopped in for lunch. I hadn’t made this my destination; it was just there and decided it’s about time to try Dickey’s. I ordered a «Big Barbecue» sandwich with Pork(you have options of different meats. pork, brisket, ham, sausage, turkey, chicken). Of course, I had to have onion and pickle. No side dish for me, just the sandwich. $ 7.04 after tax. The sandwich had a healthy portion of meat and the bun was sufficient and did not dominate the sandwich. Glad I opted for the pickle and onion — the sandwich would have been pretty bland without. The pork really didn’t have any flavor(no smoke nor roast or sear that I’m accustomed to in barbecue). They do provide a side of sauce which definitely helped with moisture and some flavor. I prefer to taste the meat, not just a sauce. I do think it was a bit pricey for just the sandwich. It was plenty to fill me up for lunch but not overfull. I prefer Santa Maria style barbecue and I know this place has it’s followers. It’s not my style but I definitely enjoy the differences in various regional barbecue styles. I will likely hit Dickey’s again to try other meats !

Honestly, I don’t know if it was the time my fiancé and I went(roughly 7PM on a Wednesday night), but it was a horrible first time visit. My spicy cheddar sausage sandwich was cold(taken right from the fridge and placed on the bun), and my baked potato casserole was already prepared and(again) cold. My fiancé’s salad was warm, and the brisket which was added was minced beyond belief; leaving her with nothing but a severely disappointing dining experience. I would like to say I’d go back, but it was too expensive to justify such an experience to relive again. At least we were able to take home some cool yellow plastic cups, and that’s a mighty sad thing to take away from a dining experience.

I don’t really understand this place. First of all, the girl behind the counter looked like there was no way she could possibly hate life any more. I think I even saw a tear on her. I’m not sure whether I should blame this on her or on the business for not letting her go home when they should have, but it was not a good start. I decided to get the plate with two meats, two sides, and a biscuit. It was way too much food for me, and I had just finished working out and came in ravenous. The meat was good, but I felt that it was only made good by the sauce, and not by the quality of the meat. In terms of quality, everything here was pretty standard. The bread is buttered to a disgusting degree. I got chest pains just looking at it, and then ate all of it. I really don’t think I got a good amount of dopamine for the calories, honestly. It just tasted like any other bread. The ice cream tasted like watery wax. Yuck. I’m definitely not trying the ice cream again. For the price, I would just expect higher quality. I did note that they had some good looking specials and promotions running, but nothing that has brought me back so far.
