I don’t understand all the frustrated people with a clear chip on their shoulder beating this long time QUALITY establishment up. Let’s get something straight people, when it comes to food, in most cases, you get what you pay for, so stop expecting to pay pennies for 5 Star quality. Get a better job and enjoy all that life has to offer you and more. The bagels here are stellar and their cream cheeses are superb. Their Nova is the BEST without question around and I’ve made it a point to try a lot in my 40+ years on this earth, especially around NYC where lox is King. It’s properly smoked and not over salted, yet so tender and smooth. Their Baked Salmon Spread is to DIEFOR. So creamy and potent. It’s total quality. Not something you can’t eat every day or else you have a heart attack sooner in life then you wanted one, but wow, it’s that good. Their Iced and hot coffees are great. Made just the right way and they will give you that kick you’re looking for with a nice taste. Not bland and boring. I’m a coffee lover and grind and brew my own by the cup most days. The best part of this establishment are its employees. They are always nice, friendly and willing to offer you help with a smile never allowing you to wait too long for service. I go out of my way to eat here. You should too. It’s that good.

I walk by this place all the time and never tried it until today, it will be my last time. I got 6 bagels, 1lb egg salad and tuna salad for $ 30.00!!! Come on now charging 14.00 a pound for the tuna salad. That’s crazy. The bagel was hard as a rock I shoulda checked it before I left.

The bagels are small, hard and dry no matter what time of day you go in, even first thing in the morning. The service is unfriendly. I actually broke a filling eating one of their bagels!

Sad bagel. So sad and the tuna salad was lame. It had carrots in it and was somehow spicy. I don’t get it. Friendly service, but I wouldn’t go back. After I ate that bagel I went to Gotta Get a Bagel on 71st/Continental and had another bagel with tuna. So much better. Save your money.

Bland tasting everything bagel that I got with scallion cream cheese, good flavored coffee. But think I got ripped off at $ 7.00 even with a large coffee. Pro: good variety of cream cheese options. Con: a little pricey and not tasty.

Previous reviewers are clearly split, and sit on opposite ends of the curve, I’m here to assume the arc of middle ground. Price: $ 2.50 for Everything with cream cheese. Standard Queens price, I avoid coffee as much as I enjoy it. I’m unwilling to risk $ 2.00 on a poor pour. Size: Standard, no larger, nor smaller than what we all have come to expect. Topping: Sesame was the main ingredient, no other toppings had a presence at all wether atop the bagel or at the bags bottom. Service: Casually friendly, moved the customers along with little difficulty. Clean and bright inside, lots of cream cheese spread options. Another try will be in my future which will tip the scales in one direction or the other.

I got a plain bagel with cream cheese. The cream cheese tastes as how it should, however, the bagel tasted funny… I think it’s because it’s «Jewish» but I did not fancy the taste(similar to a hard crescent… but not a crescent :/) It doesn’t taste like how a regular PLAIN bagel should be

They had the audacity to charge an additional 25 cents to toast each bagel! Mind you, they didn’t let me know prior to toasting the bagel, but only when it was time to pay.

My mother arrived home disappointed after going to bagelicious. They didn’t want to give her half and half after she asked. She also asked if she can cut her everything bagel in half. They said it would cost an extra 10 cents to cut it. My mom asked, «Are you serious?» The person behind the counter just looked at her. As I’m eating my bagel, my mother asked, «How do you like your everything bagel?» I asked, «What everything bagel?» I looked carefully at the bagel and saw how ridiculously cheap the restaurant is with poppy seeds and onion pieces. All I saw was 10 poppy seeds and a few sesame seeds. No onion pieces. They are so cheap with the toppings, I thought my bagel was a sesame bagel at first glance.

I have never taken more than one star off for inordinately high prices. Until now. A bialy with flavored cream cheese and a large coffee is $ 5.75. Funny, I don’t remember ordering lobster with my breakfast. It tasted good, but you can get the exact same thing at the deli across the street for $ 4.75, and it tastes just as good there. There is no chance I would go back to this place with prices like that.

Whenever I come here, I get the veggie tuna on a bagel. It always tastes great and the people are always really nice.

Really good handmade fresh bagels! Not those big fat tasteless mass produced cheap bagels that most places serve.

I also disagree with the negative review but then again to each his own!!! I’ve been coming here since they open and was blown away by the freshness of their Bagels and Bialy’s… First of all when I migrated here in 1980 almost 30 years ago I had a Jewish friend named Lynda who introduced me to Bagels. We were then living in the city uptown and on the weekend would take the subway to the Village where his Uncle has a handmade Bagel Store… have it toasted with Lox, Cream Cheese, Onions & Tomato… Delicious…then we both will have the Bialys… There was also this bagel store right in the corner where we lived, I didn’t understand then why we have to travel so far for a bagel… she would say… those are not hand rolled not made the old fashion way… what do I know. to me it was the same… but develped a strange liking to it as the years passed… The bagels here reminds me exactly on the ones we use to have in the Village… fresh and delicious. Just love it…

what so special about their bagel? zagat what? who? who said they are extraordinary. bagels are bagels. why $ 1 for a bagel? are they paying franchise fee like dunkin donuts? they are cheap in paper bag, napkins, plastic bag. dunkin donuts has a better tasty bagel. the store has all these rules for customers — what about telling them to be nice to customers. i was fool the second time to come back that they will improve their niceness but the next time around, i will avoid it like a plague.

I completely disagree with the negative reviews. My friends and I come here all the time and often don’t have to have the bagels toasted because they’re still delightfully warm. I’ve only had a bagel here once that wasn’t up to par, and when I mentioned something about it the woman behind the counter happily prepared me another one. The staff is friendly and nice, the bagels are tasty, and they are open on Saturday in a very Jewish neighborhood. They have some of the best bagels in Queens. And, by the way, if you can say something to them in Russian they’ll love you!

Wow. If there is a worst place for bagels in NYC, this is it. I mean wow. I was genuinely blown away by how horrible their bagels are. They’re tiny and hard, and yes I am sure I got a bagel and not a bialy or anything else. My parents’ bagels were the same, awful! We asked the people behind the counter if the bagels were always like this, and they said, «Yes, aren’t they great?» We said«No» and got blank stares. F minus all around.
