My first time ever trying Tous les Jours and I decided to get an iced drink because it was a nice warm day. I ordered the Iced lemon ginger drink. Not only was the drink expensive but it wasn’t even filled to the top. You could’ve at least added more water for me. He used a jar of the ginger jam kind of thing for the drink, one thin slice of lemon, lots of ice and some water. He put a lot of ginger which made it super spicy, I had to constantly add water to it at work. I tried to keep stabbing at the lemon but no lemon flavor whatsoever, the lemon slice was just way too thin. But what I was so pissed about was the fact that this drink that I could’ve made myself costed me $ 4.36, and he didn’t even fill it to the top. It was a bit far from the top. That same day, clients from my work place bought some Tous les Jours pastries for us. The pastries were decent. However, I really liked the mango cream tart and the blueberry cream tart mainly because the crust and the cream really complimented each other and was an instant hit in my mouth! The red bean paste pastry was overly sweet and a small piece of it was already enough to make me stop.(I do not know the prices of these pastries since they were bought by clients so I do not know if they are worth it). But according to how it tasted for me, I would probably buy it next time. Maybe next time I’ll go just to get a pastry and pass on the drinks. The three stars for this review is mainly because of the tarts.

I love korean cakes bc they have very light cream in them. All the other goodies are great… Just wished they had bigger sitting area.

Had a friend recommend their custard cream bread loaf so I gave it a try. $ 5 isn’t a bad price for a whole loaf. The first bite was like heaven! In between every other slice of fluffy bread is a giant dollop of whip cream! My kind of dessert! Just the right amount of sweetness! Next time I’ll definitely give their cakes a try too

Clean place. The staff doesn’t look like they are happy. No smiles, no greetings. It was only 10:30am and they looked like they worked for 10 hours.

Tasty pastries for grab and go. They also have seating. I liked this because they also had a wide variety of savory pastries. Watch our for the wooden tables, they’re uneven so drink spilling is a factor.

My favorite place to get cakes for any occasion. Came here on a fine Saturday afternoon, day before Easter. I see that they have renovated the place. It has more seating spaces. The line moves quickly so, no worries if you’re in a rush!

I came here for a birthday cake for myself(don’t judge me, I’m picky about my cakes lol). I also had a the TLJ app which had a $ 3 off coupon on it and decided to use. But when I showed the cashier he was genuinely surprised to see it and told me they don’t have any coupons and had never seen my app before. Needless to say I deleted the app afterward. Anyway, I picked the yogurt cake because I thought it was pretty. It looked like a vanilla version of a tiramisu. It have blueberry swirls in the middle. It was quite pricey for $ 30, so I was afraid it wouldn’t taste as good PB’s sponge cake. I was so wrong. It was pretty light even with all that cream cheese(yogurt) and whip cream and it wasn’t too sweet either. Even the white chocolate spoon wasn’t that sweet. It was a nice balance, but it wasn’t that amazing so I’m not sure if I’d get this particular cake again. I will definitely try their other cakes next time

MYORDER: milk bun(interesting), cream cheese bun(wish I bought more…) PROS: +FOOD: The milk bun was interesting(hints of dairy flavor without being particularly salty or sweet). A little more spongey(I’m used to softer Chinese buns) + The cream cheese bun was absolutely delicious(with the flavor of cheese cake without as many calories +SERVICE: Cute wait staff(I can say that because I’m a girl ;p). This was a quick grab and go for me. I’m not entirely sure but I don’t remember seeing seats or tables. Its a cute little bakery that is worthy of a visit if you’re in the area :)

Tous Les Jours is another Korean-French bakery or KFB that makes good but not great pastries and cakes. There are two of these in downtown Flushing and competes with the likes of Caffe Bené and Paris Baguette. Of the three, Tous Les Jours is in the middle. I’ve had a few of the pastries here such as the croissants and the fruit ones. The quality is pretty consistent but nothing really stands out. Some of the pastries like the chocolate croissant err on the sweet side and they look beautiful because I can tell they brush it with egg wash to give it a sheen so it looks appetizing under the light of the pastry case. I do like the green bean one that looks like a hand. That’s a weird comparison but just go with it. However where Tous Les Jours separates itself is the coffee. They serve La Colombe and they keep the coffee carafe in front. So coffee addicts, you can take advantage if you want multiple cups. No need to get a larger size cup. Get a small and enjoy! There are seats for about 20 and the space is divided into the pastry case side as soon as you walk in and then the seating section in the back. Its an interesting layout because the pastry case is right there so you can’t really avoid its temptation. This location is next to the Flushing public parking lot(where the King Spa shuttle stops) and has more seating than the other location close to the library. Even though it has more seating, the other location feels is more inviting because everything is compact and the seating arrangement is different. Anyways whichever location you choose in Flushing you’ll have a decent pastry selection. If like La Colombe coffee, this is the bakery to get it. Happy eating and remember: Don’t deny, satisfy!

Went here only to wait for the bus to King SpaThe service is piss poor at this location. 3 guys and girl behind the cash register and they still slow as hell. One cocky dude even put my slice of cake on the counter without a plate which the girl corrected. Looked to me like this guy really hated his job and thought it funny or hip to be a cocky little shit. Didn’t say anything at the time coz It was my friend’s birthday and didn’t want to get into it. Never coming here ever again. Have been to 34th st location and the staff there had better manners. Tip: Being a decent human being never goes out of style.

Open late, that’s a pro. Lots of stuff already gone, but that’s not unexpected. A red-bean donut? I’ll give that a shot. Better than expected. Lots of macaroons and cakes… skip. The cakes often look a bit similar and many of them are in the wrong places, signs misplaced, etc. but you get the gist if you look carefully enough(they could do some packaging stickers or something to help those of us avoiding nuts). They also have quite a few tables and sandwiches, some gelato, shaved ice, etc. Anywhere from $ 1.50 and up for a pastry. Breads and other loaves of different flavored bread around the edges. Will have to give it a shot in the morning when there is probably much more selection totry out. Parking out front for 3 cars. Wide space inside. And they were still open at 8:30p on Friday. Which was nice when we wanted to stop in to get something post-dinner. They also take credit cards.

I came in again, bought two chocolate cornets, a croquette, and a peach mango smoothie(of course). The chocolate cornet is my favorite bread at TLJ — it’s really chocolatey and sweet perfect for me atm because I’m in that time of the month where I crave sweet stuff more than I normally would. I never bought the croquette at TLJ before this visit and never will I ever again. It tasted horrific and I much prefer the ones I find elsewhere. As you can judge from my previous review, my favorite drink here is the peach mango smoothie. I do splurge and buy it when I have severe cravings because it is quite expensive for a small cup of smoothie($ 5.50). My unpleasant experience was with the employees, surprise surprise. The female that took my order seemed like the manager(not quite sure though) and she was rude af. When I told her I was also purchasing a smoothie along with the bread, she gave no response and was giving me negative vibe. Not quite sure what triggered it. She ripped the receipt so quickly it tore off in the middle and to top it all off, she was the one who made the peach mango smoothie and it was absolutely DISGUSTING. So freaking watered down and so much chunks of ice. That is not a smoothie(photo attached). I’ve worked in a Korean bakery before and know the struggles behind the counter. I don’t usually go back to complain to the employees because I know some find it annoying. But I just couldn’t force myself to chug that down because it was utterly repulsive. Oh, and did I mention it was $ 5.50? So, I asked extremely kindly for another one to be made, explaining that I always get this drink and it is NOT supposed to taste like this and I wouldn’t have said anything if this small cup didn’t equate to $ 5.50. Unfortunately, the woman that initially made the smoothie was nowhere to be found so the two guys behind the counter reluctantly took my smoothie and made another one. Mind you, I was asking extra politely and even in a soft voice so no one can hear my complaint. The tall guy making my smoothie was slamming everything around as if he was angry. Dumbfounded, I stared at him as he was making the drink because at this point, he could’ve easily spat in my drink. When he was done, he was staring into space as he handed me my drink. No apologies, no smiles, no nothing. I know y’all workers are young but learn some damn manners in customer service. Seriously disappointed but it’s funny because I thought this place was getting better. The people that get hired to work here are so unprofessional. But then again… it’s Flushing. I’m giving a star for the chocolate cornet and one for the peach mango smoothie WHEN it’s made normally.

This bakery is absolutely amazing! The moment you walk in you’re hit with the aromas of pillow-soft bread and goodies being baked on the premises. I adore this place and the staff. They’re sweet and full of smiles. When I stop in I usually get their sandwiches. That’ll run you anywhere from $ 4 to $ 6. Today I also bought my favorite childhood cookie, Madeleine. $ 1 each but worth it. They have a plethora of sandwiches, pastries, coffee, tea, smoothies, cakes, and donuts. This is a great spot to catch up with friends and to grab a quick bite to eat whether it be for breakfast or an apéritif.

First time visit to this bakery chain. Although I had never heard of this place, it came well recommended by friends due to their selection of both European and Asian baked goods. I tried the brioche tower and chocolate croissant which were both delicious. Wish I had time to come for a second trip to try more things! I really loved the large selection of pastries in this bakery and it was great to be able to see fresh baked goods continuously coming out of the kitchen.

I like their bakery but do not like their customer service(never smile :() and their seating arrangements is weird. Something is not right. They have just re arranged the shop but still i don’t feel as comfortable as i feel at café bene, Strong competitor !! The worst part was no bathroom for customer. But to be honest i come there because of their world class Products and they spent lots of money on packaging.

Being a Kdrama fanatic, I learned of Tous les Hours through the drama Dream High. The breads were Pil SUKFAVORITE. Also Kim Soo Hyun actively advertise the food company. Anyway, I visited the store because well, I just had to see what was the craze. And I came or just lefts Korean BBQ place. Anyway the upon entering the store, the atmosphere was really nice and so I just had to buy something. I bought two little fluffy fruity things with cream in the top of a flaky bread thingy. Don’t remember what is as called but each cost 1.50 so I just had to. In addition they had twist donuts, I bought that too. It was very cute, I wish I had stayed longer with my friends to chillax after such hearty eating. Very nice experience for people who don’t know what Tous les Jours is.

I have heard of Tous Les Jours and have tried their cakes before, but never have I visited or stopped by a location until recently. I came here with my boyfriend’s sister to pick out a birthday cake for her son. Tous Les Jours is truly a cute bakery/café. It’s very roomy and has a nice seating area for you to enjoy their pastries, food, coffee, and etc. I was surprised by the amount of pastries and cakes I saw as soon as we walked in. Everything looked so fresh! The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Good customer service! We picked a chocolate butter cake which was absolutely delectable! It was really smooth, moist, and not too sweet which we all liked. The cake seemed a little small, but for a group of 8 – 10 people, we actually finished everything. The cake was beautifully made and great. I haven’t tried other menu items from Tous Les Jours, but would love to during my next visit.

This place gets 1 star only because it has a cute atmosphere and oh yea, we can’t do no stars! Stopped by to check out what bread selections they had and none of them interested me. I ordered a iced café mocha to try it out and give them a chance. Unfortunately it wasn’t good. First off the cup wasn’t filled all the way and the taste was so watered down/milky. I should’ve read previous bad reviews about the drinks before coming here. Wasted $ 5.44 on this drink. $ 5.44 after tax! I tried Paris baguettes mocha drinks before and it never fails me. It has a silky more richer taste than Tous Les Jours. I don’t know how they do it but I wished this place can make it better for the price. Also the cashier girl wasn’t friendly at all. No smile, no hello how are you, nothing. Not coming back here even thought it’s only across the street from my apt. I posted a picture of my drink for evidence of the cup not filled all the way up.

I see, so TLJ hasn’t really improved on quality. I bought a cake for a birthday here a few weeks ago and it was actually very bad. It looked so promising from the outside, but the cake tasted stale and devoid of any flavor. And where is that Green Tea Ribbon cake that I loved so much when they first opened? They are no where to be found! So frustrating. I guess they’ve discontinued it. Anyhow, I think it’s great that they are expanding, because it’s such a nice-looking bakery, and most of their baked goods are made fresh, daily on the premises. The milk bun is highly recommended. But, on their cakes and pricey macaroons, I would avoid them like the plague. 2.5 Stars.
