Team work yay! We had a group of six people in total and we’re going to play the Da Vinci room, however only me and my friend arrived at first. Fortunately we were able to nail down the first couple of puzzles pretty quickly and successfully got into the second room. Then things started to turn against us as more people actually provided more obstacles rather than help. We eventually got out of the room but I would say the second part definitely was much harder. I was for sure enjoying this one more than the escape room in midtown Manhattan; as this one was more thoroughly prepared and the hint took longer time to figure out. Cannot wait to try out their new and other rooms!

Our«Elite Escape» team tackled the Escape Plan game this past weekend. The game is based on the 2013 movie with the same name starting Stallone and Schwarzenegger. There is no need to have seen this movie but it will enhance your experience! Your mission, release your prisoner and escape the prison ship. A very important hint given on Room Enigma NYC website is «Key to Success GEOGRAPHICCOORDINATESYSTEM common sense. Imagination and logical reasoning skills.» Also a good EYEFORDETAILS! (Don’t ask me for anymore hints! lol) We found Escape Plan game to be very challenging compared to many other escape games I have played. It was difficult and we were not successful at escaping but a great challenge for all fans of Escape Gamers. The max number of players is 5 and that felt crowded! Four players is ideal. Try this game and may the odds be with you!

I’m kind of an «escape room expert» by now and this place was very well done. Very unique(e.g. hostage role playing) with a lot of attention to detail(e.g. linear clues) and good story lines(e.g. Da Vinci Code). I hope they open a location in Manhattan one day, but until then, I think it’s worth the trip to Flushing to experience. Dine at one of the delicious Chinese restaurants before and then have a post-escape room debrief at a delicious dessert place.

My 2 friends and I are room escape fanatics now. We’ve done several, and this is a hidden gem. It rivals the most popular rooms you will find. The Da Vinci Obsession was particularly well made, with innovative puzzles at every turn and some wonderful elements that we have literally not seen at any other escape games so far. This is a must-play if you’re a serious room escape fan.

Nicely designed and much harder/challenging than«The Office» in midtown’s escape the room. My friends and I tried the Da vinci room and enjoyed it. Will come back when they have more rooms. I’m also super excited for more entertainment/activities options in Flushing because that means we don’t always have to go to Manhattan for these things! Go here and support Flushing local businesses!

For those who’ve played escape the room more than an once or twice, you know the place is designed with care and maintained with diligence when you visit one. Enigma is one of those places. Gave this new spot a try this weekend and to say it exceeded our expectations was an understatement. Highly recommend Da Vinci Obsession — the game was challenging while the logic made a lot of sense. Will come back for Escape Plan and look forward to the new ones in the pipeline!
