When I first placed an order on the phone, it was in English. They hung up on me. I was super pissed off because… I was trying to order. When I first came to NY, I hated how Koreans would treat nonkoreans. I still wonder what happened to my first review though… The food isn’t bad but damnit I got hooked by their crispy chicken. I don’t care how they made it and if they made it with leftover rice, CRISPYCHICKENWASAMAZING!!! I always ordered their kimbab(a good variety of kimbab) only prior to this… The restaurant is very dark so I don’t like to eat inside. I just order take out. Kimbab isn’t bad but I wish the owner would smile more. She’s very sweet… I still didn’t like that they hung up on me though! My recommendations: Spicy tuna kimbab Donkatsu kimbab Princess kimbab Kimchi kimbab CRISPYCHICKEN

Prince kimbap & the spicy rice cake with ramen are my favorites! My wife loves the princess roll & seafood noodle soup on a cold day.

I love this place. The soups are great, the kimbap is so fresh and delicious. I usually stop there for lunch. It’s a great place.

I love their spicy tuna + sesame leaf roll! I think their boonshik food is a tad bit expensive, but their food is top notch. I was looking to get several trays of kimbap and ddukbokgi done for a party, and after asking a few older Korean ladies on the best place to get it done, Nolbu was the highly recommended favorite. And they didn’t disappoint! $ 70 of mixed kimbap, $ 50 of ddukbokgi, and $ 30 of fried chicken amply served 30 people for dinner. That’s $ 150 for 30 people, $ 5 a head! You can’t get any better than that! They also threw in a salad and a package of dumplings as a «service». Will definitely use their services again!

I admit, the food here is not bad. They have pretty good kimbap rolls for a good price. However, the customer service is seriously lacking. I asked for extra chopsticks for our order(since I knew a lot of people would be sharing) and the lady got really upset. She was pretty unfriendly and rude. However, I noticed she seemed nicer and more generous to the Korean-speaking clientele. How can they do business like this? Quite upsetting.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food for the price. Really good Kimbab — I had the Kimchee and Anchovy Kimbab. Great place to go if you’re looking for a quick bite and not concerned with ambiance.
