Blazin’ Burgers & Grill

Very good burgers with a lot of variety. I would normally give them a higher rating, but I have to ding them for charging extra for MINOR customization, without letting me know in advance. Case in point: Easy Livin’ burger — I asked that the egg be runny and for cheddar instead of American. They did it, but the burger alone cost over $ 10 when done. Even with tax included that’s higher than the posted price, without advance warning. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE

Very good food i really recommend their blazin fries. Live really close and i order from here at least once a week! Their burgers are also good too!

Burgers are ok, pizza is also ok but wont put enough toppings. For example when you ask for sausage pie they put one piece of sausage per slice. We were good customers and still requests a minimum for delivery. That’s ridiculous. Quesadilla is blah, dont get the philly cheese steak

I love burgers and waffle fries. The reviews on this place were not in total agreement so when I passed it on the way home from work, I decided to give it a try.
The menu was huge!!! They have paninis, pizza and much more. This concerned me, as I was hoping that they focused on making great burgers. If the burgers weren’t good enough to keep the place open, how good could they be?
I was in the mood for a good burger so that’s what I chose to get. I ordered it medium well with cheese and mushrooms. Waffle fries were a dollar extra but that was fine with me, especially since they offered free refills on fountain drinks.
I was asked if I wanted pickles and Cole slaw. I asked for Cole slaw. Though many buns were listed (Kaiser, while grain, etc.) I was not asked which I wanted and I was too shy to ask for something special.
The counterwoman who took my order was friendly and the order was accurate.
The waffle fries were good. The Cole slaw was too full of mayo but tasty. The bun was toasted but was soggy anyway.
The burger was properly cooked and large. At first I enjoyed the charcoal taste but then it became cloying and I agreed with what some unhappy reviewers said. The burger only tasted of char so, unlike Arnold Schwarzenegger, I won’t be back!

I am really annoyed and abit angered by the management of this place and not so much of the quality of the food but the preparation. I’ve Noticed that the management isn’t the most obliging when it comes to the customer. Ordering food and wanting to cancel it a minute later like literally just a minute later and being fed some bs excuse like oh no we can’t sorry it’s already being made. That’s one thing. Then delivering it where the chicken was practically burned is another thing. This leads me into my next point but yeah it seems to me that the favorite flavor of this restaurant is BURNED. Well done burger doesn’t mean burned. No charred isn’t like a fine wine where when you burn everything from bread to flipping onion rings in a sandwich it doesn’t make it taste better at all. There should never be burned flavor when you order a chicken cutlet sandwich ever! Also please do something about the ridiculous overpriced underhanded way in which you overcharge people for substitutions and replacements. Asking for grilled chicken instead of chicken cutlet in a specialty sandwich shouldn’t cost me more at all. It just says to me that there is no care or concern for the customer and makes you seem greedy in my eye. The place seems to have great quality food and the actual owner I think is really nice. But it would be alittle nicer if there was some customer appreciation. The quality of the food is high but whoever is cooking it needs to learn to stop burning everything it’s not French or fancy or genius or artistic to have burned onion rings or bread on a sandwich. There’s a difference between toasted and burned. Other than these recommendations I think the place is definitely worth it. And I look forward to eating here more if you take my commentary into account.

I like the burgers here. The burgers a big and tasty if you know how to order. It’s nothing fancy as far burgers go these days, but easily better than burger or McDonald’s. It’s more in line with a diner burgers I grew up with. I think it better than 5 guys too.

Decided to order lunch from this place on a Friday afternoon with co-​workers. Called up and ordered three different types of burgers: a Good Fella with fries, Bacon Classic, and a Heavyweight with some ketchup on the side. Nothing else!
I was told it would take 45 minutes to deliver. Waited over 1 hour (hour and 20 minutes) after which I called them again and was told that there are eight deliveries ahead of me. If you can’t keep a schedule, be honest about it. People are not going to wait around for 2 hours or more just to eat cold burgers. Ended up just cancelling the entire order.
Either this place is seriously understaffed, or they just don’t know what they’re doing. Can’t imagine what it would be like to actually go and eat there.
Heed the other disappointing reviews on here and go with something else.

I bit into a burger with multiple hairs in it.

Actually, no it’s not. It’s pricey for a take out place. I called to let them know that there was hair IN my burger but no one even offered to replace it or refund me. The girl was polite but not sympathetic at all.
Bottom line is, I don’t recommend this place.

Burgers are on point here, there’s nothing I can say is bad here and glad it’s in my neighborhood

I went to blazin burger for lunch yesterday at 3 pm with my parents so we all decided to order from the lunch menu. I pointed out and verbally ordered from said menu (keep this in mind). The food was just OK definitely nothing to write home about. As we finished up my dad went up to pay for the meal. The total came out to $ 28 and some change. Right away I thought that was too expensive and I was right. I checked the bill and she charged me for all the items separately (lunch menu comes with a burger fries and drink). I pointed it out to her and she disagreed and said that’s how I ordered it. The total should have been around $ 21 with tax. I asked for the manager or owner and he came up to me and I explained my side of the story. He looked at me and said, «I didn’t see the transaction happen so I cannot do anything about it.» Why would I want to pay extra for a burger some fries and a drink when it is lunch time and I’m supposed to get the $ 7 deal???
He said there was nothing he can do I then replied by saying, «I pointed it out and specifically ordered from the lunch menu and your charging me for all items individually?» He then said, «I have to make money too.» He knew what was going on, this is nothing but a big SCAM and I really hope he doesn’t do this to every customer. I told him I will not be back here, obviously he doesn’t need my business.

Was in the mood for a good burger and the name drew me in. This food was anything but blazin! It was awful and the burger even made me and my two friends sick! The bun was subpar and the burger was clearly froZen and left to sit for some time. Smh I shoulda took the 3 stars as a warning sign!

A few months ago they cleaned up the place a bit — they got rid of the amateurish mural on the lefthand wall and there are big, clean refrigerators full of drinks in its place.
Service has also gotten friendlier, yay!
I think their fried chicken is stuffed with stuffing. I should ask next time. Whatever they did to the chicken, I personally liked it a lot. HOWEVER, I asked for the «hot» buffalo flavor — I’ve never tasted something less spicy in my life. The dry rub needs to be intensified, or something!
Wings are homemade, saucy, messy — be prepared to get your hands dirty.

The only reason I come here is because it’s the only place that serves American food within walking distance. Amusement park pricing for the food and there’s nothing amusing about $ 8 for a charred burger $ 7 for burnt chicken tenders. Everything here is frozen and stuffed in the freezer, which is visible to the customers. I shouldn’t be expecting much since the owners and «chefs» seem like they don’t care and they definitely show that in their cooking. What really bothers me is they are serving food that came out of the deep fryer in styrofoam plates and containers.

Burger menu is impressive, and they taste great. Just not a fan of the soggy… messy buns.
Not sure if they have tap beer, but it is definitely a solid stop for a burger and a beer.
Worth a try!

All the food is fresh and made on the spot! In nearly two months of coming here every Friday and Saturday and never having the same thing twice, I can say that I never had a less than awesome meal!
And the service is super family-​like! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Ordered a Cesar chicken salad to go while waiting to pick up a prescription at the local CVS… Picture they had of a salad showed the usual stuff in salads like tomatoes onions etc. when i opened the container in my car it was just chicken, lettuce, sauce, and some croutons… Should be adding more stuff to make it like a salad. Taste was alright

I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw someone who wrote a review below me say they love their «unique char» on the burgers. The burgers are BURNT. They’re burnt all the time, everyday, no matter how you ask for the burger to be done. Also they’re tasteless. Hey pssst Blazin’ Burger, the amount of toppings doesn’t make up for a bland burger! I’ve ordered from here countless times because it’s a few blocks away from me. I’ve never eaten inside but I have been inside and it isn’t anything special. It’s just like a pizzeria front. Pizzas are plain, haven’t had a fake pizza but I would assume they’re like frozen pizzas. The chili is horrible and the saying «tastes like dishwater» can be applied here. Loved the Mac and cheese until I found a hair in it one day. Don’t get the blazin burger fries cause the gravy is salt. Yeah, it IS salt. Like drinking sea water.
Good things are the wings. Yes, they are greasy, but they’re flavorful, especially the garlic parm ones. Chicken jalapeño wrap is great. Buffalo chicken strips could be good if they would just throw them in the sauce a little bit more. Delivery comes in 10 minutes and is piping hot.

Fairly expensive for a burger and waffles fries roughly $ 14. I had the blazin burger (chicken, hamburger, bacon, cheese & bbq sauce). The chicken was juicy, but bland. The burger was very bland as well– in fact, the only thing you could taste throughout the entire burger was a bad char/​burnt taste like they don’t clean the grill often or thorough enough. Soggy bun as you could see in one of the pics I put up. The waffle fries were crispy, but also bland. Overall, I would give this place a 2.5 but no half stars so they get a 2. Save your money and go to shake shack, five guys, even Wendy’s or Burger King would have been a better option.
I also was given a dirty napkin which was a very unappetizing start to a underwhelming meal !!

The food here is amazing, its always fresh and hot.
My favorite is the grilled chicken with rice or flatliner

Blazin’ Burger is the best thing that has happened to the Flushing/​Auburndale/​Fresh Meadows area in a long time. Food is usually great! The burgers are delicious, the grilled chickens are phenomenal, the homemade coleslaw is the best I ever had. and the wraps and gyros hit the spot.
Pick-​up and delivery is always great but my only gripe which doesn’t hurt my rating because the person may naturally sound this way or speak in such a tone (cant judge without truly knowing you) but the male who answers the phone is a bit abrupt and cane be rude at times with his tone. But if he is the boss and keeps this place making great food than I’ll take it!

Not good burgers… Don’t waste your money… Waffle fries the only safe thing… Even regular fries suck.

Burger meat was flavored okay though.
I suppose good if you’re in the neighborhood, but don’t drive out just to eat here. Go to five guys instead, seriously.

It was snowing outside & we were hungry. We decided to look for something pretty close to our home. We were in the mood for burger & suddenly we remember passing by this place a while ago.
We got there around 6pm. The place was pretty much empty. When we got there, we were the only customer there. Later on we saw one or two people went in & buy a take out. We got the flatliner (comes with bacon, onion rings, & provolone cheese) with waffle fries & the caliente (comes with jalapenos, zesty sauce, & raw onion) with an order of cheese fries. The burger were actually good. We especially like the caliente. It’s spicy, has lots of flavor. The cheese fries weren’t that good. The cheese were like plastic, not melted. The waffle fries were crispy.
If you come on Monday, their daily special is buy one burger & get another burger half off! Definitely large portion. The burger with fries will definitely fill most people up. As for the fountain soda, there is a free refill.
The place looks clean & comfy. The staff weren’t as friendly but still pretty polite, not rude. We were somewhat disappointed because they messed up one of the burger meat. For the flatliner, we told them that we want it to medium well instead of well done. When we receive our burger, the meat came out to be well done. Overall, the food was still good. We didn’t really have to wait long for our food to come out. The guy who made the food was pretty friendly.
All total, we spent about $ 20. We were full. Value wise, it’s pretty good. If you happen to live nearby, craving for a good burger but too lazy to go anywhere far, this place is worth trying. It’s not a 5 stars burger but it’s still a pretty good burger.

These burgers are blazin’ !!
So far we have ordered the blazing, the boss, the easy livin and the heavyweight. All were delicious and came with a generous amount of smoked bacon. The chicken in the blazing burger was flavorful and not dry, the mac and cheese in the boss was good, the egg in the easy living was runny and the Philly steak in the heavyweight was tender (I wish they put an extra layer of cheese in this last one).
The sweet potato fries are crispy and fresh.
Last night we ordered a regular pie and it was also pretty good. the pizza was thin, the sauce was not too salty nor too sweet and the cheese was good. To be honest, I was surprised that their pizza was also good because you know. there are some places where you keep ordering something that’s really good but when you decide to order something different is just not as good… Well, that is not the case with Blazin’ Burgers.
The staff is really nice as well as the delivery guys. We are glad that we found a place close to home that sells delicious tasty food. They also make sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, hot dogs etc. looking forward to try all the things they make.
