Ehhhh not a fan. Food is nothing to die for, the soup sucks. Don’t ask for too many fried noodles because the lady behind the counter will stare you down. Would I come back?

I’ve been eating here since I was a little kid about 25 years now! Their food is the most authentic Chinese you can get. They haven’t changed anything since then that’s the most amazing part. The prices portions and quality are still the same! Other reviewers writing about the owner being nasty, she’s not nasty but if your expecting to pay $ 4 for a lonmein dish and get you but kissed those 2 don’t go together! You need to go to the plaza hotel by Central Park for that

I wish i can give them negative stars! I had an awful experience here! When my beef lo mein came it was spoiled! Completely inedible! I took one bite and had to spit it out. The woman who worked there would not hear it. She insisted that it was fine without tasting it or anything! They would not take it back and insited that i pay. Not wanting to argue with this crazy woman any longer I just paid. The woman was absolutely obnoxious! I would never go back there if it was the only food in the world and i was starving to death!

They always get my orders wrong when I deliver. The only reason I eat it is cuz I live nearby and we don’t cook at home. The food in this place is honestly gross. The soups are gross. It’s all thick and gooey if u leave it for five min. U call that soup?

I’ve been coming here for years with my family and I’m still not sure why. Every time we eat there the waiters are obnoxious. They always get the order wrong! The bathrooms are disgusting and the restaurant is not clean. Today, I found a hair in my food. This was the last time I’ll be going there. I’m referring to the one on Union Tpke. Main Street is a whole separate issue lol.

The food is good. The dining room is dark dirty and dingy. it is like they turned the lights off. It NEEDS to be redone. Do not bring anyone you need to impress. I found a mouse in the upstairs bathroom

Most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had. The rice(fried and white) was mushy and tasteless. The sesame chicken was also mushy and had no flavor, it’s almost as if it’s all frozen and reheated or(I hate to say it!) reused from the patrons’ leftovers. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like this — this place needs to be inspected asap.

Ordered shredded chicken with garlic sauce with no celery with white rice, got a plate of carrots with barely any chicken and lots of rice. When I told the waitress that there were too many carrots and barely any chicken, she took my plate and started taking the carrots off my plate. Then proceeded to give me back the food. Terrible service, and the food isn’t that good. Don’t waste your time.

I dined here last night after a day in Queens. I had been wishing for Chinese food, and didn’t feel like making the trip to Cho-sen, so this hit the spot. Off the get-go, I wish they didn’t have a waitress. The place is small, casual, and it was odd how certain dishes were brought out on disposable plates and cups, and others brought out on china(I’d be fine with everything on disposables, out of both convenience and a concern for cleanliness). However, this oddity aside, I was very happy with my meal. When I requested tap water, half a pticher was brought to me, as if the waitress could read me and knew that that’s exactly what I needed! The wonton soup was hot, flavorful, and the broth pleasant, although I wish it had been a tad darker and richer. The wontons themselves were juicy, tender, and the filling made of delciious veal. Ample supplies of crispy noodles and a delicious duck sauce that seemed homemade(one could taste pureed apricots and peaches) were brought to the table, followed by the most succulent dim sum. The beef filling was juicy, flavorful, moist, and pleasantly unctuous, accompanied by the proper soy dipping sauce. My main course was roast veal with broccoli; my request for garlic sauce was happily accomodated, and the dish was a masterpiece. The broccoli was crisp and clean, and the color of the tops of the broccoli indicated that the mashgiach did a stellar, aboveboard job of preparing and inspecting the vegetable for kashrut purposes. There was just enough roast veal in the dish to make it substantial, and the the veal itself was succulent, juicy, with the red coating that reminds me of my days eating«that other» roasted meat in Chinese restaurants(no worries, though; even though this had the taste and mouthfeel of that«other meat,» this is 100% glatt kosher!). The flavors in the dish were pronounced and every element shone. I gave the manager a thumbs up when my dish arrived, and my request for fried rice(instead of white rice) was also happily accomodated. The portion was huge and I had to take half home(and I’m no lightweight). A table of rowdy teenagers(half them with yarmulkes and skirts, the others bareheaded and girls in jeans) taunted the staff, sadly, and I don’t know what«Avoda Zara» the other poster refers to(there were no statues in the restaurant, and all I saw was a Mandarin writing for success on the wall, not unlike our Hebrew birkat haesek). I enjoyed my visit and next time I’m in the KGH area and wish for Chinese food, I’ll gladly patronize this establishment again.

Food is decent. Manager is TERRIBLE. They delivered the wrong order. I called, she asked if I ate it. I said yes but then I realized I didn’t get the egg roll that goes with the combination platter. She said I should not have eaten the food and I should have returned it to the restaurant the next day. Right! There was NOTHING she could do for me. I will be taking my business to the new Chinese restaurant, Soy Sauce!

This restaurant is glatt kosher. So with that being said it’s the best kosher chinese restaurant in New York. Great wonton soup and egg rolls. The veal dishes are a win. As far as service goes, they are nice enough. It’s basically a takeout restaurant, I don’t expect service.

The service was good and the place was clean, however the food is bland. Remember this is a kosher restaurant. If you like kosher food than you will enjoy this place.

The food is not bad but the service/attitude stinks. I once ordered for delivery late at night. It took them 45 minutes to show up(I live about 2 minutes away) and they left out one item. We called immediately but they were already closed so we left a voicemail. When we called again a couple days later because we had not heard back from them, the manager basically called us liars and denied ever getting the voicemail. Despite the fact that we have spent more money than I care to admit eating there, they made us feel like dirt over a $ 6 item. Um, moron manager, if I was going to lie about a missing item, don’t you think I would claim a bigger one, not the cheapest thing we ordered! More recently, I was there and ordered hot dogs and french fries for my kids. They said 15 minutes so I left and came back. 45 minutes later, they were finally ready. It’s a real shame because I enjoy their food, but service like that is unacceptable to me.
