McDonald’s

It’s McDonalds. This one is notch above most in cleanliness and pleasantness of employees.
But here’s my bitch… all day breakfast doesn’t include egg mcmuffin. Are you kidding me…

I’ve been coming here for years. This is well managed store and remember the first manager that really got it going, quick, in and out, smart staff, few mistakes in orders. They have has times in changes of missed orders but food is generally out fast, moves fast, hot, and correct. The drive through does get slow on some days so if I see a line and it aint’ moving, I don’t stop so I don’t bitch about it. This is Mcdonalds! For me, this is the best around and well run. Thumbs up.

I frequent this McDonald’s and I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years. I have recently been disappointed with the very slow drive thru. The workers appear to be poorly trained, poorly supervised, and indifferent to serving the customer. Their service pales in comparison to the excellent, courteous service you receive at nearby restaurants. I see workers on cell phones and hear them cutting up. The owners need to spend more time on site and take heed to the complaints. An investment in a strong management team is recommended. Our community deserves better!!!

Worst McDonalds I have every been to in my life I would say about 30% of the time my order has been correct. Doesn’t even really deserve 1 star if you can’t even put a sausage patty on a sausage and cheese biscuit.

Service is always a hit or miss. This location is in dire need of an upgrade! Upholstery on the booths are torn. The floors are dirty. I will be skipping this location.

We like mcDonald’s as a rule. This place is shameful! ALL the booths have torn up upholstery. Fries on the floor, trash under the tables, woman’s bathroom leaves much to be desired, employees wearing their baseball caps backwards. I am embarrassed to bring family and friends here. This community deserves a first class McDonald’s!

Your eyes are not deceiving you… This is a 5 star McDonald’s review! But let me offer a bit of an explanation. It’s not for the best burger, fries or tea in comparison to other fast food chains (although I think the filet-​o-​fish is thee best). It’s definitely not in comparison to the burger boutiques cropping up all over town, although McDonald’s has the best value for your money.
What these 5 stars are for would be the consistency of THIS location in comparison to other McDonald’s nationwide. I’ve just about given up on my childhood favorite chain with it’s trademark arches and redhead clown. It is so unbelievably inconsistent as far as taste and quality around the country that we avoid McDonald’s at all costs.

OTHER LOCATIONS
Some days the chicken nuggets are hot and juicy, other days dry and cold.
Hot apple pie is great, but not when overcooked or way past the time they place on the box to remove from the sales rack.
And don’t even get me started on days when I get HOT fries and a COLD burger or vice versa. That is a crime punishable by stoning if you ask me.
However, nothing makes me more upset that driving half way down the road to discover my food is poorly cooked, barely warm or not even the correct order! This for me is the routine at many McDonald’s today… Pitiful!

BUT NOT HERE!
There are only a handful of McDonald’s I’ve been to in recent years that I fully expect to have my food cooked and served to me the way I remember it from my youth. Where the fries are hot and delicious… not overcooked and over salted! I miss those fries of old, but they get it closer to right here than anywhere!
Service is fast and friendly (like it’s supposed to be) and I can’t think of a single time they’ve screwed up my order. The sweet tea is always spot on, unlike some places I’ve been that almost put me in a sugar coma!
My only complaint here is how they routinely short change you on the fries. They are NEVER full and oozing out of the container and it really annoys me. The manager explained to me that the owners are sticklers for measuring the weight of the fry boxes. Evidently there is a recommended weight for fry sizes issued by corporate. This «correct weight» makes the french fry containers look less than full. (see pic)
It’s too bad, because they make the best fries of any McDonald’s I’ve been to in recent years. It’s the only blemish on an otherwise outstanding location. They are not perfect, but they do a very good job.

My sister, Yoomee H., and I were driving through the Flowery Branch area on a Monday afternoon when I suddenly had a craving for a McDonald’s Vanilla Iced Coffee. Fortunately, I saw this McDonald’s restaurant and felt a sense of relief because I was also getting sleepy on the road.
At first, I thought I would just go through the drive-​thru and take my iced coffee on the road. I ordered a medium Vanilla Iced Coffee ($ 2.03) and a Vanilla Cone for my sister ($ 1). I was a bit surprised at the cost of my iced coffee and recalled the days when a medium iced coffee at McDonald’s cost $ 1.89.
Anyway, there were no other cars in the drive-​thru, so service was super quick. As soon as I arrived at the second drive-​thru window after paying at the first, my iced coffee was ready and waiting for me. It took another minute for the Vanilla Cone to be ready, but I was satisfied at the quickness of service.
As soon as I started pulling out of the drive-​thru, I realized I needed to check my email because I was expecting an important email. *sigh* So I parked my car and took my laptop inside to use their free Wi-​Fi (YAY!).
The inside of the restaurant looks fairly clean and has plenty of seats. They even have a PlayPlace inside, which is nice for families with small children. The main downside of this McDonald’s is that they have ZERO electrical outlets by the tables to plug in your laptop, so be sure to have your laptop fully charged if you’re planning on using your laptop here. (Yes, I actually walked around looking for one.) In addition, the women’s restroom looked as if it was not attended all day because the trash cans were overflowing. Not good. =P
Overall, this McDonald’s gets 3 stars for being «OK» with their quick service and clean interior. However, I had to subtract 1 star for the lack of electrical outlets and 1 star for the unattended restroom. Since I usually don’t have a reason to drive through this area, I probably won’t return to this particular McDonald’s — but I hope this review is somewhat useful for someone who wants to check out this location in the future.
