Ordered cupcakes and balloons here for my son’s bday. Very affordable. I used to order fancy cakes and such from specialty places for way too much $$, but kids enjoy these just as much and for $ 13 for 24, who can beat that? I made cupcake toppers. super easy!

Tom Thumb offers the same quality of food as other local grocery stores but at a higher price. I still visit about once every two weeks but that is only because it is walking distance from where I live. They do offer a slightly better selection of beer and wine than other grocery stores. They have a small refrigerated section of wine which is nice because I don’t have to wait for it to be chilled for the lady. Nothing wrong here. Just not my glass of wine.

I just left this location at 10am on Friday 11/​15/​2013.
The one star is for the actual pharmacist. Who was TRYING to be helpful and do her job.
However, The check out lady– older, dowdy, small eyes and washed up hair/​face– needs an attitude adjustment. I get it, your main purpose in life is to get me to push the «Done» button. But, when I’m speaking to the pharmacist regarding my daughters new prescription and possible allergies, DO NOT INTERRUPT. I have used a POS when checking out so do not raise your voice, barking orders at me to push a button when I’m trying to listen to a PROFESSIONAL. You lady, should not arise from the ROCK you crawled out from under until you check your people skills.
Management should be aware of this gem behind the counter.

This is your average Tom Thumb. They are pretty expensive as far as groceries, unless you find a «special» on what you are buying. They often have good prices on sodas. This one does NOT have a Starbuck’s inside like some.

Good selection of cheese. May have to check it out next time.

Wait, they have new lower prices… what was I paying when I was getting my gas discount???
Hmm, my stupidity put aside, all this place is good for is wine pricing (and I do drink a lot of wine, so maybe I wasn’t overpaying that much in the past).
But for groceries in FM, go to Kroger or the Highland Village Wal-​Mart, their prices are much better.
