White Castle

I remember when the sandwiches were almost $.48 per slider with cheese on it.
On my lunch break I would, without thinking automatically buy five of them with cheese. I would probably eat three of them, while they were hot, and the other two, I probably wasted and eat them cold and hard but they were cheap and delicious .if there were more than one person in the car I would pay for 10 or more. Unfortunately they have price themselves right out of my market. $ 2.10 for three sandwiches with no cheese.
But I can’t even blame them, this is St. Louis, nowadays you can’t even get a «ham-​Saint Paul» for two dollars, so what is one to do? go on YouTube and learn how to cook it yourself .
If you raise your prices too high… We will have to find some other place to spend our money.

I LOVE White Castle. However, it’s not often that we dine in. Made an exception on this day.
Attendant was not friendly, but efficient. Not a smile but very much focused on the task and not the customer. No issue there. Would just suggest a smile every now and then.
The restaurant dining area was NOT clean. Several tables were dirty and grimy. We cleaned off a table near the windows to sit down. Floors were sticky — beverage station was well stocked, but in disarray.. .straw wrappers, napkins, just a mess.
We will definitely visit White Castle again in the future, but we probably won’t dine-​in.

I had a very enjoyable experience at this particular White Castle. The chicken ring sandwiches are da bomb and don’t even get me started on the jalapeño cheeseburgers… but I’d have to say the most surprising aspect of this dinner was that I didn’t even get diarrhea afterwards!
