I love coming here! My boyfriend and I often come for lunch! A great family owned restaurant with good food and very friendly servers! I love the chicken parm and they have the best house dressing around!

Pitiful. Took forever to get anything. 1 hour to get bread. Empty drinks and plan to wait. 1 ½ hours to get dinner finally. Table next to us took 20 mins until they were even waited on. Won’t be back here.

Service was friendly, atmosphere was welcoming for a sports bar type environment. Chicken fettuccini was okay, cavatelli with broccoli was okay. Bread was delicious. Ordered tiramisu and after waiting 15 minutes, it was served to our table. It looked amazing… but sadly was frozen all the way through. :(

Service is friendly but the food is not that good. Baked lasagna is small and soupy. The baked rigatoni is absolutely disgusting. Bland as bland gets. You pay $ 12 for noodles, sauce, and cheese. The white sauce is pretty plain too. I don’t think I will be back. The food is a rip off.

Always good food, they always make it right! The wait staff can be hit or miss, and the place can get loud. Prices are very affordable and they have lots if specials during the week. Bring back the red and white trio– was taken off the menus a while ago.

Poor service and overpriced food. My family and I went there for dinner tonight because I was in the mood for pasta and we like to support local restaurants. The side salad and pasta con broccoli was fine, but nothing special. We ordered a small pizza for my son with light sauce and it came with quite a bit of sauce on it so he didn’t eat it. My wife ordered the Sicilian steak with a side of spaghetti. The server did not ask how the steak should be cooked but we told her to make it well done when she returned with bread and drinks and she okay no problem. When the steak arrived it was bleeding on the plate. The side of spaghetti was supposed to have marinara sauce and it came with meat sauce which really didn’t matter I suppose since it did not have any particular flavor to it. We stopped a different employee walking by to let them know that the steak was not as ordered. They took it and about 10 to 15 minutes later brought it back well done. The steak tasted fine in the end but of course by that time I was about done with my food and she had finished the spaghetti after dumping a lot of salt and pepper on it to add some taste. No apology by anyone at the restaurant for any of the issues, just a bill for $ 34 plus tip which is overpriced for the quality of the food and service. We were sitting near the kitchen door and from what my wife could see when the servers walked in and out it did not appear clean, which might be why there were 2 little gnat-type bugs flying around our table in the middle of winter. The server gave us too much change back after we paid, so I left the extra $ 1 with the tip and a note explaining that she’d given back a dollar too much. Our server did not check with us on even a semi-regular basis to make sure things were okay and another server eventually got a refill for my lemonade but I was about done with my meal at that time. They seemed to have plenty of staff in the restaurant. I feel bad for leaving a bad review but I also feel like I was cheated out of a nice Friday night meal with my family. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

I recently went here on a Saturday night to both satisfy my craving for Italian and to try a restaurant I’ve never tried before. Besides, it’s closer to home than the hill. Although I wasn’t overwhelmed, I definitely enjoyed my experience, and will most certainly return sometime in the future. Our server, Katie, was very attentive and courteous, and she made sure we were well taken care of. Despite the fact that Cannoli’s is a strip mall restaurant, I must admit that I fell in love with the interior décor. In the main room, the walls were decorated to look like the facades of a variety of houses and an Italian storefront, and I thought this was really neat. The food was good, and I was happy to notice that they use provel cheese on their salads and on things like their garlic cheese bread, both of which I tried on my visit. I also tried their toasted ravioli, which were definitely pre-made, but still were better than the run-of-the-mill toasted ravioli I am used to. For my entrée, I got the tortellini in a white sauce with peas, which was good, but was even better when I mixed in a bit of my meat sauce. Really, the only thing I could say about the food that isn’t totally positive is that the Alfredo sauce on my tortellini had the consistency of a gravy, rather than an Alfredo sauce. This was a little off-putting, but it didn’t keep me from continuing to eat. For dessert, we got some Cannolis to go, and they were delightful. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, and I was happy that I had enough left over to have a good lunch the next day. Definitely worth a try!

We had the bread and meatball sandwich. Very good! I loved the Italian bread roll that the meatball sandwich is served on. Décor is nice, something different than a mundane restaurant. We will be back to try other items! Oh also, prices are very reasonable!

Went on a Monday, which has all you can eat pasta for the Special. We had a 10 minute wait for a table of 2. When we were seated the dining area was at most half full. We ordered and the food arrived promptly. The«house» salad dressing and other foods did not seem to have a great deal of flavor. Much of it seemed pre-made, or out of a jar/can. I had Pasta con Broccoli which had few pieces of overcooked broccoli and under-flavored white sauce. In fact I have had better Alfredo sauce out of a store brand jar and much better sauce from any number of local restaurants. My wife ordered the Pasta con Libby, which turned out to be a rosa sauce with overcooked, dried out chicken cubed on top. Again the sauce had very little flavor. Overall the most flavorful thing we had was the seemingly fresh baked bread. The dining room also was not clean during most of our visit, though by the time we were leaving the hostess had started cleaning tables from guests who had left prior to our arrival.

I recently came here for a huge family dinner and wasn’t too sure what to expect! They stuck us in the private room in the back, which had plenty of space… but was lacking in atmosphere a little bit. It was almost too quiet. Regardless, I was just happy they had us all at one table. In my family, drinks are priority when you’re out to dinner, so we all were ready to order those as soon as we sat down. Our server was sweet, but took a very long time. So long that my impatient father had to go grab a beer at the bar because his was nowhere to be found after ten minutes or so. Regardless, the drinks eventually came out and tasted great. We also had some appetizer platters… provel haters, stop reading now. The garlic bread covered in provel was amazing! So were the deep-fried pepperonis. Don’t come here if you’re on a diet. My mom and I decided to split a pizza and get some house salads. The salads were good, but be prepared for the dressing to be very sweet! I liked it just fine, but it was too sweet for others sitting around me. The pizza, while it could have used both more sauce and cheese, was A-OK and a great size to split. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they had, and my grandpa raved about the steak for about two hours after eating it. This place is a good one to take a large group to… it also provides great Italian food(and big portions) for a low price. Next time I’d rather sit in the main dining room, but I appreciate them accommodating our large, lively group!

Cute Italian place, large enough for large groups. The inside is decorated like the outside of an Italian street. I love the bread here. You get your only tiny little baguette served up in a little paper bag, just like buying a loaf of bread in Italy. The food is good, and I like getting to choose a pasta side in either red sauce or white sauce. Again, it’s a great location for large groups!!!

Food was great had the cannelloni sampler. Two Chicken and One Beef. Chicken was good but the beef was my new favorite. Next time I get this I will get two beef and one Chicken. Service was a little slow but food made up for it.

After running around all day with two young kids we were looking for some place to grab a decent meal. This place did the trick. Food was OK and you got a nice loaf of warm bread and olive oil. We would eat here again.

It is a very nice place in Florissant. Went there for lunch for Karla and I and had a bill of around $ 14 for both of us including soda. The portions were good, plus fresh bread. I am a huge fan of the decorating of the inside it is like it has its own town inside.

I’m a little disappointed by the experience that I just had here. I’m been to Cannoli’s many times and I’ve never left unsatisfied… until today. First, it took forever for the waitress to take our order and they were not busy. She took our drink orders, then asked if we were ready to order, to which we replied yes. She then abruptly runs off to another table before we could open our mouths and doesn’t return for about 5 minutes. Later, it took entirely too long to pay as she had messed up my check and then decided to chat with another patron for a few minutes before she brought my credit card back… I ordered rigatoni with spicy marinara and a garden salad with house dressing. The rigatoni tasted like spaghetti o’s. I have had other dishes from here that were better like the mannicoti and the spinach stuffed shells. Those both come with the meat sauce so I guess it’s just the marinara that sucks. Their house dressing is super delicious and it’s the one thing that stands out here. The food is super cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

It’s hard to beat Cannoli’s when it comes to bang for your buck. I used to go here often as a kid and recently rediscovered it with co-workers and a number of occassions. The food is consistently good, and you can’t beat the price at this unassuming North County strip mall location. Just today, I got the tilapia special(though I was saddened to visit on a Lenten Friday) with lunch salad and the warm bread served with entrees as well as a soda for about $ 10. The décor is a little cutesy/cheesy, but for those that have been there for years, it wouldn’t be the same without out. You definitely get the family feeling here! Great for two, a family, or a group!

I have grown up eating at Cannoli’s, two years ago I had a great birthday here and enjoyed the privacy that we got for our group. The décor is a little cheesy, but I’ve always thought it was cute. I love that the salad has pasta noodles in it, I recommend the house dressing it’s a sweet Italian vinaigrette and I think the portions at both lunch and dinner are just right. Tuesday’s they have a discount on calzones and Thursday’s they have all-you-can-eat pasta. It is not my favorite Italian place, but it is my favorite in Florissant and I like the prices!

This is a decent place for cheap casual St. Louis style Italian food(see Kemolls, St. Louis). The most amusing thing about this place is the décor that attempts to make you feel as if you’re eating in a cheesy outdoor café setting. Actually. No. The most amusing thing about this place is that every so often there are a crap load of old ladies playing bridge at almost all the big round tables that give you a wary eye as you walk by. There really isn’t anything that sticks out around here. People like the daily lunch specials(some pasta, some salad for less than 6 bucks) but I’m not a fan of their pasta dishes at all. I actually stick to their meatball sandwiches and burgers. Alas, I really don’t think I could ever get over their sauces, but that’s just me. The service is friendly enough and adds to the slew of cheap eats in the area.
