AGM Windows & Siding

I used this company a few years ago for replacement windows at our 2 family home in Lyndhurst. I was impressed with the quality of their product as well as the knowledgeable owner. Their price was fair and their installers were neat, dependable, and went above and beyond. When it comes down to it, no need to spend the extra money on the big name brands.
A few years later, I needed a few extra window handles and the reliable owner delivered them to my home for free. What a refreshing change it was to do business with a trustworthy company!

I liked the gentleman Paul who came out for estimate out of all the other companies and individuals Who came out. The work was completed in a timely manner.
Had siding a small roof and two doors done. On the front siding they cut two holes into the siding where the railing goes and put tons of glue to hold the railing in place which looks terrible. They cut my screen for one of my windows when placing the siding they told me they were going to fix it and never returned it. So currently I am without my screen and now no one is responding. The quality of the hmi door is crap and had to get it fixed two times.
Would not recommend the response time regarding these matters were slow and appeared they did not care seeing as they got there money when I noticed these issue. Customer service was top priority to reel you in but after the contact signed no one cares about you or whether your happy with the project!
Siding came out fine and workers worked hard but follow up and customer service lacked

Love my new windows. It was a great experience: talking to Paul, who explained, what to expect from the new windows and the time frame. Windows were ready before promised date. The installation was done fast and the team was scrupulous.

We had 19 windows replaced in our house by AGM windows. We had 5 estimates done and Paul was our favorite of all he doesn’t come across as a salesman just a real guy. We also wanted the okna windows as we did a lot of Internet research and they get great reviews. Paul’s crew did a great job and the new windows look and work great.

We started looking for window contractors in mid April 2013 to replace our first floor’s original windows, all wood and plate glass from 1949 — when the house was built. I asked for recommendations on City-​Data and later signed up for Angie’s List to check further. AGM got several recommendations from City-​Data; several people stepped up to say that AGM did their work too and they were very happy.
Paul was the first contractor we had in. We’d talked to Window World some time back and were prepared for a marketing shpiel. Paul’s shpiel was honest and direct, and he answered all our questions about the product. He was careful to take accurate measurements to provide a good quote.
AGM’s quote, $ 7600, was the lowest we had gotten from any contractor — and that was for the higher end Okna window that he installs. Later on he was able to get us a different brand of windows with triple-​pane glass and a more efficient rating for about $ 500 less. Paul was very helpful, professional, and patient as we saw other contractors, even giving explanations as to why they would do X as opposed to AGM’S Y.
We signed with AGM in late April/​early May. The windows took about three weeks to manufacture and fabricate. AGM’s workers (their own people, not subcontractors) were on time and completed the work in one day. They were responsive, clean, and careful to make sure they got everything out of the way and covered in drop-​cloths. The windows were delivered the previous evening fresh from the factory and we were given a time range of anywhere from 4 to 8 hours to complete the work.
It did take around 8 hours, but the quality of the installation was quite high. Only two incidents occurred: a begonia in our garden was accidentally stepped on a little, and one screen was punctured. When we pointed it out, the installers were quick to apologize and fabricate a new screen on the spot.
All in all, we are extremely happy with AGM as a company and the windows we had installed. We will definitely consider them for other projects and are more than confident in recommending them.

AMG windows and siding replaced all the original windows on our house, plus 3 new openings, and the job was done BEAUTIFULLY, NEATLY. I thought they deserve to be mentioned for all central and North Jersey home owners who need the services.
I started look into window replacement contractors in early March, and spent 3 weeks of quoting process with total of 5 contractors. 2 in town, 2 recommended by an online forum, 1 is the big orange box store.
2 and half months later, the house is with all new windows and looking awesome from both inside and out. We are very satisfied with the quality of the Okna 800 windows, extremely happy with the personal services from AMG, his crews were courteous, his price was also super competitive, but the main reason we decided on him was he’s very workable and down to earth.
