usually the food is hot and really good but every now and then they will mess up your order or the food may not be as fresh. the kickin chicken sandwich is a really good deal

First of all I’ll comment on the food its self which was ok and not my main reason for giving this place such a low rating. The food «chicken and fries» were not stellar but they weren’t bad. The fries had a little too much seasoning for my taste but otherwise they were fine. The staff was decent and nice. Now for the thing that really turned me against this place. After placing our order we proceeded to look for a table. The place was only about half occupied so there were plenty of tables available but to my surprise not one of them was clean. Every single table in the place looked as if a bunch of wild pigs had been there. There was food and spilled drinks all in the floor, crumbs all over the tables and chairs, used napkins and utensils left by the last person to sit there, and just plain filth throughout the place. We ended up finding the cleanest dirty table and cleaning it ourselves as best we could which was piled with trash. I had better expectations of this place, especially since it was my first time to eat at Zaxby’s. They did not leave me with a good impression and I will not be a returning customer. Not once while we were eating did I see a single table being cleaned. Absolutely pathetic. Management needs to get their act together and keep the place decent for their patrons. This is one patron that will not be going back as I can’t enjoy my meal while sitting in a dirty restaurant.

Wish I could give a negative star. I don’t know what has happened here but my whole order was horrible. It began with them forgetting my salad dressing for my salad luckily I have learned to check my bag before I leave the window and also probably because I realized they had put my salad on the bottom underneath a bunch of hot food. Second there was a HAIR in my child’s grilled cheese so I took it in with no apologies from the staff. Then I noticed that most of the toppings that came on the salad were not on there. Wish I just left the food there because once I got home the food that was correct was horrible also. The chicken was not even edible and the tator chips and fries were discussing so we had to just throw it all away.

Great place to eat. Food is generally excellent and so is service. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the restaurant is dirtier in the dining room. Tables with food particles along with seats dirty and floors sometimes sticky. We notice this problem mostly when they’re really busy. Overall, if you don’t mind cleaning your own table, it’s a great place to dine.

Great for take-​out for parties. The wings are great, especially with the first level of hot sauce. The dine in area is too cramped and the tables too small for a large family.

Our local Zaxby’s franchise owner is a huge supporter of the University of North Alabama and opened Truly Cigars. That’s two reasons to support him! The restaurant is clean and the employees are very pleasant and professional. It has adequate parking and a drive-​thru. The batter can taste a bit salty, as can the fries seasoning, but I do like eating here. The wings are good, too! Much better than Hooter’s.

Zaxby’s was okay… Not the best chicken strips that I’ve ever had… but then again… definitely not the worst either. Reminded me a lot of Abners.
Children’s menu was thouroughly disappointing! Ordered a grilled cheese and fries for my stepdaughter… and there was only a ½ sandwich and fries that were overly-​seasoned to the point she couldnt eat them. :(Definitely a factor that knocks a star or two away.
I’ll at least give them another shot.
