I really enjoyed this park. It’s great for people-​watching or book reading or savoring your ice cream. On this hot day I sat near the fountain and cooled off in the midst. Don’t let the simplicity of the park fool you. Its clean, spacious, and cheery. I could spend all day listening to the waters. Also, don’t the fountain fool you. The rumbling is so loud its calming. No playground here, no stretching equipment or art exhibits. Just me, you, and WC Handy enjoying the serenity of nature. Next time I come to Florence I’ll setup picnic under the shady trees and stay here all day.
