I wasn’t put off by the one star review, or by the fact this Starbucks is located in a Barnes and Noble, or even by the fact the barrister asked me if I wanted whipped cream in my café latte (this is the south after all) or by the fact that my two lattes were so hot, I couldn’t comfortably carry them even with the cardboard. But when I was told that I could not use my Starbucks card, pay with my iPhone or use Apple Pay, apparently because they sell items from the Cheesecake Factory, that was pretty rough.
It’s a Starbucks, but not as you know it.
