They must have known Wifey was an inexperienced buyer and would be traveling a ways with the lingcod she bought. It was mush fish. Almost falling apart before it could even be put in the pan.

Stopped for fresh shelled crab. Very fresh hit the spot and homemade cocktail sauce. Very helpful with a last minute snack!

If you love fresh crab, this is the best. FRESH! Melt in your mouth, cooked to perfection. Yes, it will cost you some money, but you will never find a crab tastier than this. Don’t bother with the fancy restaurant crab, if you want the real deal, this is it.

Stopped in here to get a crab cocktail and possible some crab and halibut to take back to the rv for dinner. It is not a restaurant, but it does have a couple of picnic tables outside if you want to eat your cocktail or chowder. Our stop was not fruitful. They had run out of crab cocktail, and the pricing on the crab and the halibut were too high for our budget. Our son did grab a shrimp cocktail, I did not, as there was a little note saying previously frozen. He was happy with it, a generous portion of shrimp and he liked the cocktail sauce.

This is a fish market. Your meal options are clam chowder or various smoked fish. Haven’t tried the fish, which looked tasty, but the chowder was great. Whoops, this review was circa… several years ago? but it was great back then!

July 13, 2014 we had shrimp cocktail and chowder both were excellent with generous servings and great service. Right on Hwy 101 next to the Visitor Center just north of the bridge. Will definitely be back.

Best Clam Chowder ever! Creamy, rich and thick full of clams and a sufficient amount of potatoes. Little tiny place with no frills, no indoor seating, but friendly staff and appeared to be good selection of fresh fish and customers consistently coming in. Hubby had crab appetizer and it was full of delicious crab and very generous amount. Definitely recommend it!

Fresh crab. Fresh, live clams and oysters. Fish so fresh you swear it was swimming that morning. Worth every penny.

We stopped in the Krab Kettle to buy fresh shrimp but the boats had not gone out for two days. We had a nice talk with the daughter of the owners about the business. She showed us how to crack a crab and then gave us the crabmeat as a gift. We ordered a quart of clam chowder to go and this was THEBESTCLAMCHOWDER I HAVEEVEREATEN!!! For real. It was light and tasty and the pieces of clam were the largest and tastiest I have ever had in a clam chowder and there were a ton of them. I didn’t know it could get this good.

The food was merely So so, the price was too steep for the not so impressive quality that you get. The service was Unbelievably terrible. I will never go back there again. Overrated beyond belief.

I just spent over $ 14 on a single crab. I thought to myself, «This better be the best crab in the world!» As it turns out, it was. It was literally the best crab in the world and I had the good fortune of being the person that got to eat it. You know how when you go to a grocery store in some town several hundred miles from the ocean and buy crab… Sure it may only cost $ 7.00, but you’ll have to spend the next five days puking. At Krab Kettle you eat the food and you feel good. Thank you Krab Kettle!

In the tiniest of roadside shacks is a terrific little seafood shop with a fine selection of fresh seafood and shellfish. We had two crab and shrimp cocktails to go. They were served with fabulous cocktail sauce and oyster crackers and for $ 8 each, they were huge servings of great seafood. The crab pieces were huge and plentiful. Not one piece of shell to be found. I’d eat that every day if I could. Hooray for a seafood restaurant where everything is fresh and nothing ends up in the fryer!
