Florence Pizza & Family Restaurant

I ordered a pizza and it was delicious! My only issue was the friendliness of the staff. My waitress never checked back with me after the food was delivered. The one who delivered my food never spoke a word until I spoke up and said thank you. Whatever she responded with I didn’t catch because she had her back to me. I’ll be back for the food, but I’ll order pick up.

New slogan idea «Make Pizza Great Again.» You’re welcome. The pizza is pretty good, but the white pizza is the best. The cheese garlic bread, tenders, and the hand cut fries are also good.

Best pizza around. It is not gourmet pizza, but pizza pizza. Ask around, it is Florence’s favorite.

I’ve been a customer of Florence Pizza for 10 years and it’s been our go-​to place for pizza. I just had the worst experience with them and will never use them again. I ordered pizza to be delivered at 5:45 last night. When it hadn’t been delivered by 7:30, I called to see what was happening and they said it would arrive in a few seconds. I called again in an hour and was told the same thing. By 9:00, we gave up and ate something else. At 10 I called and talked to the manager. He said he would talk to the driver and call me back. He never called back. I called him again today to make sure I wasn’t charged for the pizza. He said they had no way of knowing what credit cards they made charges to and I should call my bank. He also said he talked to the drivers and they said they never had an order for my address. He repeated that and I realized that he was implying that I never placed the order. I told him that we had sat around hungry waiting for the delivery and he should apologize. He said he didn’t have anything to apologize for. Time to find a new pizza place.

I apologize in advance, but compared to my benchmarks, this place does not offer anything more than a swift breeze of deliciously SMELLING pizza, calzones and stromboli’s when you first walk through the doorway. I appreciated the people working there because all were kind, but it does not make up for the elevated prices, inaccurate order (s) and low-​quality to mid-​quality food (s). The food and service was not terrible, and I think this place deserves a try, but I have experienced much, much better. The only reason I did not give it a two (2) star was because I went there on a nice day and the breeze from the outside was comforting while sitting on the inside, and my friends had a fair time.

45 minute wait for 2 cheeseburger grinders on a Wednesday night. Really?

You folks giving 1 star are crazy… this place is great. Family friendly, great food, nice staff. We eat here at least once a month and have never had anything but a good experience take-​out or eat-​in.
And to the guy complaining about the sauce not being vegetarian… dude, you ordered fish. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but fish is an animal.

Ok for dine in but their pizza is horrible and they even cut their round pizzas square? Who the hell wants square cut pizza that tastes like crap with thick crust? I updated my contact for them in my phone so their name on my phone is «Florence pizza — use pizza factory instead»

Hi,
I went here and ordered ziti pasta bolognese and found a curley hair in it! I told them about it and they brought me out another plate. This plate looked like they ran out of the bolognese sauce and tried to make up the difference by putting ketchup in. Thus my sauce had two colors to it, brilliant red patches and darker bolognese sauce for the rest. Also, the 2^nd plate didn’t come with as much ziti as the first one did.
All the while the staff was having fun joking and laughing in the kitchen and behind the counter. Very unprofessional. I forgot to mention the ripped seats and dirty menus.
So I won’t be coming back to this establishment for at least a few months if ever.

Update: «Florentina’s» is now «Starr’s Pizza» — go there!

We went to this restaurant because I heard that they had gluten free pizza and I was not dissappointed. They have great tasting pizza and their prices are very reasonable. We will definately be going to this restaurant again
