Sarah Nails

Super sad. I loved Sarah’s nails when Shanya and her mom owned it. I cried when I went to get my nails done and she told me they sold the business her mom was retiring. (Couldn’t imagine ever crying over nails but it’s so hard to find someone like Shayna) Shanya said the new owner’s would take good care of my nails. I have not been back since. The girl who was going to take over Shanya’s place I did not feel comfortable with. She did not speak much English and I felt like she did not understand how picky I am. It would have been a disaster if I went back.

Just got a ($ 30)gel manicure and a ($ 16)regular pedicure. I wouldn’t mind spending this money but there was no real foot massage or hand massage. I think that is a large part of the experience when you go to nail salons. Also, I’ve had plenty of gel manicures … And I understand sometimes the gel sticks to your fingers or gets under a nail… But ⁸⁄₁₀ of my nails had the gel stuck to my figures. Over all never going again.

I love the foot massage and pedicure, it’s so relaxing! They take their time with you and do a great job.

I really enjoyed my gel manicure here. The quality was fantastic and everyone is super friendly! They even made an effort to pronounce my name correctly. I will definitely be returning!

I refuse to get my nails done from any other place! Having lived in Floral Park all my life, I’ve definitely tried pretty much all of the nail places in town (we have a lot!), and Sarah Nail’s is the best place to go!
Everyone is so friendly and I never have to wait long, even when it’s crowded. They take time with every customer and I’ve never felt like I was rushed out of there.
My nails always last a while and stay in excellent condition!

I asked the Floral Park Face Book page, what salon they recommended and this salon came up the most, so I gave it a try. I was impressed by the professionalism of the girl doing my nails (french manicure) and the girl doing my friend’s nails (regular manicure). The place could use some updating but other than that, I would recommend them. They have been in business for over 20 years in the same spot. I think that says something about their services.

I’ve been struggling to find a place that does a great gel manicure for longer than I’d like to admit. I made an appointment here based on the Unilocal reviews, and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff is friendly and skilled, and they took great care to make sure my nails were perfect. After two weeks, my nails are still perfect. Definitely pleased with my experience here.

Had my second gel manicure and first pedicure here last night. I called ahead because it was already 630pm and they agreed to take me, asked if I was ok with having two techs work on me at the same time. My mani and pedi came out perfect! I feel like sometimes when you’re getting a mani while your getting your pedi, the mani isn’t the best. My nails look amazing. I’ve never had someone do gel while my pedi was going on but no complaints. I’m a Queens girl who just moved to Floral Park. The prices are a bit more than I’m used to ($ 30 for gel plus $ 9 for French? A little pricy but worth every cent!) I don’t mind to pay the extra money for great service. They were super polite and always asking if I was comfortable, if I liked the shape, etc. Def recommend!!!

I used to go to Sarah’s when my regular manicurist at another salon was on vacation. Although it was random with many months in between, any time I entered Sarah’s I was always greeted warmly and everyone inquired as to how I was. Well, fast forward, my former manicurist left NY, so I sheepishly decided to return to Sarah’s and make it my new place. That was four months ago and I’ve never looked back.
I have been thrilled with the whole experience. EVERYONE is greeted warmly and by name, treated with kindness and total professionalism. Equally as important, the other patrons are very nice, warm and easy to chat with. As the other reviewers noted, the salon is very clean, nicely decorated, offering a relaxed environment and a great experience.
I am a nail design addict and thankfully, my needs are met beautifully. I’m so glad I found this salon and expect to be a customer for as long as they’ll have me. I MUST give a special shout-​out to Shayna, who is my nail art goddess! She’s fun to work with and her designs are always better than the pictures I bring. She is AWESOME!

So I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is the real deal. The other reviews had it right. I was not a regular there like the other reviewers, today was my first time there. The staff is so kind and they were very welcoming, they did great work, its hard to find a great nail salon in this area, but this one is it! Great pedicures too! Loved it and I will most definitely go back there! They also do nail designs!

I have gotten a LOT of manis and pedis, but this place is the BEST!
First of all, it is clean. That is the most important part. The entire place is so relaxing and beautiful.
Secondly, the estheticians do a wonderful job and are so nice and professional.
Thirdly, it is very reasonably priced.
I got the works there and did a Spa Pedicure (totally worth it) and a Manicure and both have lasted longer than any other one I have gotten at other salons. I echo the other review. This place is as good as it gets.

I absolutely love it here. It’s right by me and whenever I need to get my nails done, I always head here. The prices are typical of LI (8 for mani/​16 for pedi) although I think more recently, they changed since last time I was there (a year and ½ ago when I moved out of state). The staff is super nice and friendly (I got a big hug and lots of concerned questions when I returned after my long absence) and always does a great job. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
