This is our latest Chinese place. We’re liking it. The people are friendly, it’s clean, the food is standard Chinese takeout. The prices are slightly higher than the other one we used to order from but we got a stomach virus there three times over three winters (on Braddock off of 224). First two times I chalked it up to coincidence. This one has many workers so people don’t have to work when they are sick whereas the other one on Braddock only has two workers and if they’re sick, well so are you. We’re going to make Hot Wok our place whenever we want Chinese. It’s been very consistant with every order. The only reason for the loss of the star is that they only carry soda so if you don’t drink soda (which I don’t) it’s soda or water. Water and Chinese, eh. Some Snapple would be a nice addition.

This place has no flavor. I don’t know how they stay in business. Every dish they make just lack flavors. I understand that this is your typical Chinese take out and as the prior person posted — they are clean. OK True. But no flavor. Everything is so blan. It’s like eating cardboard.

While this is far from the closest Chinese Food restaurant to me its the cleanest inside and I would rather order from them than walk up the block to mine. They have cheap lunch specials and the girl at the counter is friendly. They aren’t stingy with the sauces and you always get a ridiculous amount of food but you don’t get that «I ingested a shitload of MSG and I don’t feel so great» feeling at the end.
