New clueless person less personality serve you now in that place not going back for sure… my kids didn’t got their ice cream after their meal my wife didn’t get her sweet fries like she ask for and on top poor management

You think you can’t go wrong at a diner… well you are wrong. I found a black hair in my food and when the manager Spiro came over he was the most rude, disgusting person I have ever met. He was not apologetic and just grabbed the plate.
When I left I felt worse for the young girl at the register. He was hovering over her and speaking very degrading for no reason at all. She was polite and smart and helpful. And he acted like a moron foreigner. Wake up – this is America… women has the same rights and are not your slaves.

I discovered this great diner a couple of months ago. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was treated by the servers at diner time. The food is amazing! I made this my spot!!!
But it came as a shock to me and my wife at all the new faces (with no personalities or manners)
How is it possible to mess up on a salad??? What happened to the friendly staff that we have come to appreciate and like? Anyway as for décor, cleanliness and good food I give them a 3! Other than that I don’t think this will be my spot for long, unless I see the face with the smiles.

When you first walk in the place looks beautiful! The food is good, for a diner BUT wow where did they find the servers! I’ll go back once again just in case it was an off night. If I receive the same servers then I’ll move on to another place, maybe the triple crown diner.

I’m sadden to see so many changes here. My husband and I have become regulars (every Friday) because of the good food but mostly for the great service we received from Penny and the new addition (a younger gentleman) it was always a pleasure on how she and the gentleman treated us! It made our dinner so pleasant. Now all I see is servers with no personalities or smiles. This saddens me deeply cause now this diner has become just another diner! It’s time to find a place where you are treated the way Penny made us feel! And that was with a warm smile!!! Best of luck to the management/​owners for the changes!

The diner on Tulip has some amazing food, let me tell you. No matter what I or my fiancée has gotten, it has been great. Even the cole slaw is better than every other diner’s!
So far I have only been there for dinner, several times very late into the night. And I have yet to be disappointed with any aspect. The burgers are delicious, juicy, flavorful, and they have a lot of good burgers on the menu. Also, my fiancée loves the chicken caesar salad, and we always make sure to get the disco fries as they are good comfort food late at night.
Service has always been great no matter when he have come. The servers are polite, friendly, and speedy as well. The staff is a great boost to this place.
The one downside to this might be the manager/​owner (not sure of his actual status) who on the last time we went for dinner was screaming at his staff about a broken ice machine, and we heard lots of screaming from the kitchen. It was probably an off night because we had not seen that before but he was very disconcerting and should not be embarrassing his staff like that, especially in front of customers.
Either way, this is a great place for dinner, so stop by if you’re feeling a late grumble in your stomach!

Great addition to tulip avenue. It’s clean, quick, and has great food! The waitstaff is very friendly and knows all the gossip in Floral Park!

The Floral Park Diner makes you feel at home. I went at the bidding of my mother who frequents this place on a weekly basis for weekend breakfast or a late dinner. We went for dinner and really enjoyed the bright atmosphere. The entrance has the old fashioned soda fountain seats if you want to enjoy a quick bite or a milkshake. As you walk further into the diner, the booths on one side had the names of a few streets in Floral Park.
The burger and sweet potato fries that my mom ordered looked amazing. I ordered the penne a la vodka with chicken. She loved the burger but was only able to finish half. I only made a small dent in my very large serving of penne. I had no problem taking it home and ate it the next day. The milkshake that my bf had looked very good. But it was more like vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup. Strawberry ice cream would’ve been way better.
Now I need to try the breakfast at the Floral Park diner. I hear all the rave reviews and just am craving pancakes, omelette, and hash!

Been there 3x already and actually going back tomorrow for a burger! Great bagel & lox, pancakes are fabulous, the SHAKES, terrific just like years ago with a twist! park in the back… you may have to wait, but the service, price, portions and taste is worth it. Thanks Chris … FL Pk needed it.

Loved this place!!! Ordered takeout and it was supremely fast and everything tasted so fresh and scrumptious. I am so excited to have discovered this place. Their burgers, sandwiches and nachos are delicious. Makes me never want to cook again and just order from here indefinitely. Thank you!!!

The best diner in the area! Everything I have ever had from breakfast to dinner has been very good. The California Benedict on the brunch menu is one of my favorite breakfasts of all time!

, they delivered straight to my house and i was pretty happy with my food. I ordered turkey club sandwich for my sister and for me I ordered grilled chicken sandwich. All pretty good. However, my only complaint is that the food is a little pricy.

This is a fantastic diner. They have fresh, delicious food and the portions are HUGE!! for the money you can’t do much better.

We’ve visited twice for breakfast and have absolutely no complaints. Great breakfast staples, fast and courteous service plus reasonable prices. The diner is relatively new and is bright and decorated in a small town way. There are booths and tables as well as counter seating.
Metered parking is readily available on the street and we’ve never had problems finding a spot.
I have tried both their challah French toast and Belgian waffle, both of which were absolutely delicious. Unlike many of the Queens diners, FPD’d Belgian waffle is light, airy and fluffy (which is dangerous as you end up inhaling the whole thing without even realizing it!) Hubby usually goes for the two egg combo with sausage and home fries, which is always prepared to his liking.
We definitely want to come back and try lunch/​dinner.

Don’t love the taco salad but Everything else I’ve tried here has been amazing!!! Like seriously I cannot give this enough exclamation points And stars to emphasize how amazing this diner really is. Everyone in my family is addicted to it we eat here usually a couple times a week if not more. It’s great at all hours they have fantastic breakfast lunch and dinner items. They have a nice time frame so if you get here late it’s OK you can still get something delicious.
They have fantastic pancakes for one. I had three huge yummy pancakes every bite was great. They have really good soups here. I love the chicken vegetable rice soup and the avgolemeno. And let me emphasize that they have fantastic salads! The salad that has strawberries blueberries and salmon! Oh my goodness it’s amazing and I 100% 1000% 1,000,000% recommend it it’s absolutely the best salad the salmon has great flavor. And the fruit it’s so good I cannot emphasize how good it is enough. Seriously everything at this place is amazing.

Great place, awesome food, terrific service. We stopped by to grab lunch while in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered Penne Ala Vodka and a Caesar salad which was delicious. I will recommend this diner to anyone traveling near by.

My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday afternoon. We were quite excited since this diner has the best reviews on Unilocal within the area. I got the salmon benedict from the brunch menu, and when I got my orange juice, there was lipstick on the glass :(The salmon benedict was not very good.
My boyfriend got chocolate chip pancakes, which tasted pretty great until we spotted a piece of lettuce inside the pancake…
Our waiter was not attentive to us and I had to practically flag him down to get the check.

Was visiting family and decided to give this place a try. I’m so glad we did! The food was very good! Not your typical diner — and I say this in a good way.
Our server Penny was a doll! She was simply awesome and made our dining experience much more pleasurable.
I can’t wait to go back and have the steak salad!

Stopped by for breakfast recently. Located in the heart of Floral Park with plenty of parking and steps from the LIRR station. Lots of seating including booths and regular tables. They also have a long counter if you prefer that. The place is nice and clean. Definitely does not have the same feel to it as most diners do (which is good). The food was great. We got the usual staples of pancakes, eggs, bacon and coffee. All of it was good. Also, they were great with my daughter and gave her a little coloring book. We will be back to try out some more of the food for sure.
