My negative review of On Call Catering in Flanders is strictly to help others not have the same unprofessional experience I had. Ginette was asked to design a menu for my party on the fly — I only had 6 weeks to pull this together. Her menu was great but I had questions and we wanted to make suggestions — fully prepared for her to say the kitchen facilities were not equipped to handle some of the items. SHENEVERRESPONDEDTOMYEMAILSOVER A 3DAYPERIOD. I had to contact the woman who swore she was the best and that woman told me Ginette didn’t want to take the job all of a sudden. Now, Ginette wasn’t doing this for free so for the money I was paying, I should have a say in what was served. I can only assume her feelings were hurt that I wanted to make changes but to be so unprofessional as to not respond! And I’m sure in all her years, I wasn’t the only person to make changes/suggestions. Because she was so unprofessional, I was forced to cancel my party(which was actually an after the fact wedding celebration). I had no time to search out a new caterer. I sent Ginette a similar email to this review to which she never replied to either. If she didn’t reply when we were trying to do business together, why would I expect her to reply now. Very unprofessional and rude. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone. She is also one of the caterer’s contracted with The Wine Room in Bound Brook. Just beware!
