I can’t believe the Catholic church is letting this beautiful, sacred space go to waste in favor of their McChurch on top of McMillan Mesa. I nearly became a catholic because I attended mass with my husband several times in Nativity, and I felt god there. I can’t find him in that big, echoing, gigantic terrible acoustics place they built on the mesa, and closed this historic space. Big mistake, Diocese.

The church is still absolutely stunning and is hands down the most impressive, beautiful, and edifying church in town. Unfortunately, Latin Mass is no longer held here… or any Mass at all, for that matter. Now it is only open for weddings. A major disappointment, and a huge mistake. I still recommend that everyone with a love for beautiful churches stop by and attempt to visit, you will hopefully find it unlocked and will have the chance to experience the best Catholic church that Northern Arizona has to offer.

An intimate little church in downtown Flagstaff that is hard to miss because of the pepto-bismol façade. Part of the Catholic parish, mass is only held here regularly on monday, wednesday and friday at 8:30am and is frequently attended by the pupils of the Catholic school across the street. Mass is also held here on the high holidays but come early as it can get really full. For those who prefer their mass in Latin, come at 8am on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
