Downs Daniel MD

Really outstanding doctor. He listened to my concerns, did a through exam, and went over the possible causes, options for treatment, and made sure they were clear to me. And he said if the symptoms didn’t improve with the suggested treatments, to please come back in and we would take more steps to figure out what was causing the issue. He addressed all my questions and concerns. So many doctors I have been to minimize the symptoms you tell them about, and don’t really believe you. He took me seriously and that really matters. If you need an ENT doctor, this guy is great to see. (I did wait an hour after my scheduled appt though, but it’s worth it.)

Dr. Downs was AMAZING. I was having major problems last year with my health. I ended up going to see Dr.Downs. He was very friendly and wanted to figure out what was wrong since I had been to multiple other doctors and no one could figure it out. With in a couple weeks of first seeing Downs he had told me that I might be needing surgery. I called him on Thursday and he said if I don’t feel better by Monday to call him again. I called him and he said «You will be having an emergency tonsillectomy on Friday morning.» My mom ended up buying her ticket that night and flying down on Thursday night for surgery on Friday morning. We should up at the surgery center and everyone was super friendly and I felt right at home. My surgery ended up only being 15 min and then I was in recovery. While I was in surgery the head manager of the surgery center asked my mom if he could get her coffee or anything and ended up coming up to me after and making sure I was doing okay. The nurses made the experience a lot easier. I woke up coughing up a lot and then they did everything they could to help me feel better. Ever since I had surgery I have felt almost 100% better. Thanks to Dr. Downs!

Dr. Downs was fantastic! He was quick in getting to me (even though I came in early and he was behind), his diagnosis was quick, but extremely thorough, and he answered any questions I had without seeming condescending. His staff was very friendly, even putting up with this really sick person’s inability to open a door. I would mention that one of the other patrons was extremely rude, but Chad doesn’t reflect what the overall office atmosphere was.
Not only all of that, but Dr. Downs was actually able to fix what was wrong with me (chronic sinusitis) where three other doctors had misdiagnosed me.
Overall, wonderful and he is going to be my go-​to for all ENT needs.
