We eat here about once a week. Great place for sushi, and my young son loves the chicken bento with the California roll.
On my way home I’ll stop in and order carryout, have a beer, and then head home.
Unilocal is telling me to keep writing so I’ll add that you can call in your order and it’s almost always ready in less than 20 minutes.

Growing up in Fishers I never ate sushi. Blech.
But now when I come home for Christmas (with a more cultivated adult palate) my family heads here for an annual sushi lunch and I love it!
Spicy tuna, the classic California, Philadelphia, Crunchy Shrimp, Rainbow rolls — all tasty and beautifully presented. The server was also very kind in helping my vegetarian sister find rolls she could eat. Add a seaweed salad and this is a great meal to offset all the ham, potatoes, mac and cheese, and Christmas cookies I’ll be eating.
The prices are very reasonable and the environment is classy and calm — and never crowded. The service is consistently slow, but that doesn’t really bother me. As long as I’m not exceedingly hungry upon arrival, I like the extra time to leisurely chat at the table.

Great quiet atmosphere on the Sunday night for dinner. Table for four and we were seated promptly. We had a variety of food at the table including miso soup, ginger salad, sushi, a Bento box, and a teriyaki chicken entrée. It was great that everyone got what they wanted.
Service was prompt and friendly. This is a great sushi staple for fishers.

Great Sushi, we love to sit at the sushi bar and talk to Joe. Have not tried any of the non-​sushi dishes, but the look good whenever I see them served. Tegry Bistro is a great alternative to most of the other restaurants in this area.

The sushi and the other dishes are all very very good. Can’t say I like the atmosphere all that much but it’s well lit and clean. It’s the service that comes up short most the time. It’s just too slow not enough attention and there’s a language barrier sometimes.

Clean and quiet atmosphere. Sushi is fresh, great Salmon and rolls are good size for the value. Have been here many times and have never had bad sushi. On the weekends it can get busy which slows service but nothing that would not keep me coming back.

We are new to the area and decided to give this restaurant a try. We were sorely disappointed. Service is terrible. We waited for over a half hour for our food. Sushi is average. What a disappointment. We won’t be back.

Very nice atmosphere. Service good. Sushi GREAT. Volcano roll very unique and tasty. Tried a bite of steak from a friend’s dish that was really nice. Pretty bar area. Will certainly return.

Food honestly wasn’t too bad, but the service is HORRIBLE. We’ve talked to friends who’ve visited and they all had identical experiences. There were only 2 – 3 tables the night we went, but the waitress was rude and very, very slow.
Example: in the middle of taking our order, as I was in mid-​sentence, she turned around and walked away without saying anything to seat people who had just come in the door and took and served their drink orders. Never an apology, never even said «sorry, would you mind waiting just a second for me while I help these people?» — literally just turned around and left. I brought it to get attention when she came back, and she shrugged her shoulders as if she had no idea what I was talking about. Completely unprofessional.
Furthermore, they messed up our order. Maybe writing it down would help…
Well absolutely never return until new management and ownership are there.

We have eaten here 4 times now, and have had a great experience every time. The restaurant is clean and classy. The entrees were all delicious and filling for the $ Cost. My wife loves the chicken fried rice and I am a fan of the sushi. It’s always been slow until tonight, a Wednesday and all Booths filled. I would check out this one of three DG Tegry locations.

Went to this bistro at lunch time. It is an attractive place, but chilly atmosphere. We were the only customers. When they failed to greet us at hostess stand, we asked whether they were open… the carbonation lines were fouled up and soda was bad. They serve only very weak green tea. No lunch specials. Had Japanese curry, friend had a shrimp entrée. Served w/​nothing but white rice. Food was good, but not much of it, for the price. Probably wouldn’t eat there again.

We were the only people in the place a 8 PM on a Saturday. The green tea was delicious, served in a real gong fu pot. We weren’t as crazy about the premade shrimp siu mai or the Godzilla roll, which had too much eel sauce and just wasn’t as much to our taste as the ones we’ve had in Chicago. The staff were actual adults, not high schoolers; maybe it’s because it was dinner rather than lunch.

Just had my first experience at Tegry and will definitely go back.
The atmosphere is classy and clean. The service was prompt and professional. The sushi was great.
Had the Trish roll which was a unique with cilantro and jalapeño. The salmon and yellowtail nigiri were fresh and nicely sized portions.
If you think supermarket sushi is a better choice, you probably just shouldn’t be eating sushi.

I was raised to have patience and be kind. However, after not being able to read the numbers on the write in menu, not realizing a 4 year old has not had chop stick lessons at daycare, and forgetting one of our rolls two times while putting our order in the back of the line I realized my patience can run out.
The sushi while not bad was not great. We did taste the bento box of chicken teriyaki our kids had and this was the best part of our meal. Sorry kids Mommy and Daddy couldn’t wait for their rolls.
Having a 4 and 6 year old sitting at sushi restaurant for two hours can be unbearable however, their worst behavior is a better experience than we had tonight.
If you need a place to put you in a foul mood or provide you an experience that makes you want to eat in for the next month than I would suggest this place. However, head on over to Kroger and pick up your sushi and head home. It will be a much better experience.
