I love Moe’s! I love the atmosphere, queso and peach soda. Such a fun place to take your kids too! My kids cheer when I bring Moes chips and peach soda to carpool. When you are safe at home and your kids are in bed, the peach soda is really good with vodka

Quick. Friendly service. Went at lunch time no crowd and I was surprised. Portions given are the same as what I experienced at Moe’s on US31 so I guess it’s standard. Still love the place.

I went to Moe’s on Monday for lunch. There was a long line with about 15 people. Thankfully, I only waited 10 minutes to order, because they have about 3 of 4 employees working on the assembly line. I ordered a steak burrito bowl with all the veggie toppings, chips, and salsa. On Mondays there is a promotion for a burrito with any meat, chips, and salsa for $ 5. Pros: Meat is freshly cooked, lots of choices for veggie toppings, free chips and salsa, and a new coke machine with tons of flavors. The staff is helpful and friendly. They routinely walk by the table and ask to refill your drink or basket of chips. The bathrooms are very clean. They also have weekly deals: $ 5 Moe Mondays and kids eat free on Wednesdays. Cons: They only offer one type of rice and are very crowded during lunch and dinner. Overall: Moe’s is better than Qdoba or Chipotle because they offer a bigger selection of veggie toppings and free extras such as chips and salsa. They have lots of weekly specials and promotions throughout the year. In addition, you get a free cup of queso($ 4) for signing up on their website.

The staff is great, and the price usually reasonable. It’s fast Mexican food, so my expectation is not the same as fancy restaurants.

Love this place! Much better than the other burrito joints around here. The food is awesome with sooo many toppings to choose from(careful, their Queso is a ADDICTING). The crew is always fast and friendly, and it’s a great place for the family.

Went in to order last night around 7:30. No one was at the counter, no «Welcome to Moe’s» proclamation when I walked in. I stood there for about five minutes and still nothing. No one checked the front of the store for a good five minutes! What restaurant does this? I like Moe’s, but I walked out. I hope someone sees this review and service improves. Your brand is better than this.

If you like someone yelling welcome to moes at you this is your place. If you want high priced taco bell this is your place too.

After knowing that a family member has been granted to buy a kid’s menu, I tried it tonight. I got the Power Wagon for $ 4 which mine included an all-natural chicken taco, a kid’s drink, and an all-natural cookie. They offer free refills so do not accept the clerk’s offer to update to a large cup for an added cost when you are dining in. I finally got to try the variety of sodas. I did not like the Coke with Orange. The Coke with Lime was not too tasteful so I mixed it with Coke with Cherry. Because I was able to select many of the toppings for my taco such as mushroom and bell pepper, it was good to me. Unfortunately, I did not like the chocolate chip cookie — tasted like it had grains it in.

I think that these are popping up all over the city. I’ve eaten at the Carmel, Fishers, and Avon locations. They are great. I like them better than Chipotle and Qdoba!

I went to the Moe’s location near downtown Fisher’s IN a few weeks ago. They have a Discover Indy coupon, so it made it work the trip. Moe’s is similar to Chipolte or Qdoba. The one thing that does set Moe’s apart is that they give you chips with your order. They also have several different salsas on their salsa bar of chips/meals. I’ve never had a bad meal at Moe’s, and this trip was as good as all the others. However, what set this meal apart was the new Coca-Cola Free Style fountain machine they have added to their location. This is the first time I’ve been able to use one of these machine. If you have never used one of the new Coke machines, you are able to chose dozens of different types of soda from one machine. It is a novel idea, but in practice it creates too many choices if there is only one fountain machine in the restaurant. In my case, I had to wait in line while the family in front of me had their own personal Coke product taste testing session. Overall, I always enjoy my meal at Moe’s. The addition of the new Coke fountain machine gives me a reason to go out of my way to visit this location.

If you absolutely love room-temperature Mexican food, Moe’s is your place! My biggest problem with Moe’s is that my burrito bowl is never even remotely warm. I understand that my order includes cold ingredients(lettuce, pico de gallo, jalapenos) but that small smattering should not be able to overtake the masses of ingredients that **should be** hot(rice, meat). I shouldn’t have to sprint past the salsa bar and drink station just to barely get a bite of warm food. Why are they unable to keep the rice and meat temperatures above lukewarm levels? Unbelievable failure. The quality of ingredients is okay but they pale in comparison to their competition(e.g. Chipotle). Positives? Well, I love hearing the friendly«Welcome to Moe’s!» when I walk in the door. The(tepid) pulled pork was fairly tender. They also have superbly-salted tortilla chips and a nice assortment of salsas. I can’t think of a single reason to visit this Moe’s location over Chipotle or Red Habanero(both found a few miles away at 96th St & Gray Rd) … unless your car is out of gas and you refuse to buy more. Moe’s on E 116th St is definitely NOT recommended.

This has been my home away from home. I’ve worked in the Fisher’s area for two solid years now, and Moe’s has been a staple. So much so that co-workers will buy groupon’s from them, knowing I will be a willing date. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming all guests with a hearty«Welcome to Moe’s!» They are fast, efficient, and offer some of the best Tex-Mex in the area. My fav: Billy Barou with ground beef, pico di gailo and guac. For something less heavy, check out one of many burritos(homewrecker is my suggestion) and enjoy the complimentary chips and salsa bar.

I don’t care for fast food so I often grab lunch at one of the three burrito chain restaurants in the Indy area. Each of the the three offers some things that I really like… I just wish I could pick my favorite things about each and put them together into one restaurant. I really like some things that Moe’s offers… free chips and salsa bar with your meal is really nice. You are always served a generous side of warm, fresh chips. If you take your order«to go» you get a generous bag of chips. The salsa bar is always fresh and clean, and offers around five different salsas and sauces, ranging from mild to really hot. The other two burrito places(Chipotle and Qdoba) charge extra for chips and salsa, and the servings that you pay for there aren’t nearly as generous as what Moe’s gives you at no charge. Even if you want just a small cup of salsa both Chipotle and Qdoba charge extra. Once I just wanted some chips and salsa for a snack and stopped by Moe’s to get some, and they gave me a huge bag, and didn’t charge me at all! I offered to pay but they wouldn’t take my money, told me any time I wanted chips stop by, the chips are always free. Amazing. I agree with Jamison and Carey on the craving… I never really crave Moe’s like I do Qdoba. At Moe’s I get a satisfying meal, fast and friendly service, fresh chips and salsa but I never leave thinking it was the best burrito I ever had. One thing that I LOVE about Moe’s is that they offer grilled tofu. Neither Qdoba or Chipotle have tofu, and while I am sure that it isn’t hugely popular enough people ask for it that it would be worthwhile for them to make it available. The lettuce, tomatoes, onions and other fresh veggies are always good at Moe’s but I can’t say there is anything special about the beans. I think perhaps the seasoning could be better, unfortunately, they usually taste like they came straight out of a can. I don’t care for the rice at all, and never have it put on my burrito even though I usually love rice. I have tried it several times, at this location as well as the Moe’s in Carmel, and it just doesn’t have a good flavor, and tastes kind of dry and hard. I do appreciate the friendly greeting I always get when I walk into Moe’s, and also the fact that it is easy to place my order. The employees speak clearly, and I never feel rushed. Often at Qdoba and especially Chipotle I can’t hear or understand the employees as they ask what I want on my burrito and I end up asking them to repeat themselves. Moe’s also has a great special on Mondays, where you get any burrito, chips, salsa and a drink for $ 5.99. Especially if you order the Homewrecker, like I do, it is a great deal.

I’m not sure what’s so great about Moe’s. It’s actually pretty mediocre. I’ll take Qdoba over this any day… Better yet, go down the strip mall about 5 or 6 storefronts and visit La Hacienda. It’s mucho bettero!

I’d have to agree with Jamison R. on this one. Moe’s doesn’t have bad Mexican food, but I never find myself really craving it like I do Chipotle. I’ve tried a variety of their menu items — burritos, tacos, nachos and quesadillas– but just haven’t found any that are too memorable. They do make a mean queso dip! Moe’s has several vegetarian options and also serves fish tacos, so it could be a good option if you are looking for another Mexican fast-casual place that offers those items. I think the best part of going to Moe’s is when the staff greets you by shouting«Welcome to Moe’s!» Nothing like feeling wanted! It looks like Moe’s has recently added pulled pork to their menu, and since it’s hard to find any Mexican joint in Indy that cooks pork well, I will have to try go back to give it a try.

We ate lunch at Moe’s today. It was good, but nothing spectacular. I prefer Chipotle and Qdoba for this style of mexican food. We both had the chicken burritos with the works and got the combo meal which came with a drink, chips, salsa and either a side of guac or a side of queso. The queso was quite tasty. The guac just average. The burritos were similar in size to Chipotle and Qdoba but I didn’t think they were as flavorful. It was fine. I’m sure I’ll go back again.
