Gallery 116

This artistic store, with two floors to shop, has some great items like the puzzle necklaces, license plate letter key chains, and enlarged Scrabble piece magnets. There is a huge bird cage. I particular like my new earrings in a matching jewelry pouch.
At the other corner on the south side of 116^th St. is I Love Sushi restaurant. There is customer parking between the two businesses and behind Gallery 116. I do not know why Gallery 116 had not caught my attention before as I drive by it often.

I love Gallary 116! I’ve been here a couple times but just recently discovered the upstairs! LoL which is filled with awesome goodies from furniture to small gifts. They have stuff out of the norm, that you won’t find a retail stores. Their staff is always very helpful and always smiling :) I used to shop at Delaney’s gift which is right down the road but stopped going when I discovered this place. They have a much bigger selection (although less clothing items than Delaney’s) I rate them 4 stars because pricing… more sale/​clearance items would be awesome! All in all, a great store!

Gallery 116 is a wonderful place to find a special something for that extra special person, occasion or just for you. And they are good for an everyday find as well. They have such a wide variety of items, you’re sure to find something you like. From clothing to jewelry to housewares to art — OK, it’s ALL Art! Handmade items, many local, really wonderful surprises around every corner of the store.
And it’s always changing! They are in a house converted to a Gallery right by my Yoga Studio ~ Source Yoga is just two doors down so if you’re heading East, you just missed Gallery 116! So I stop in every few weeks and I ALWAYS see something new. The people are friendly and can help you find something specific… because, believe me, you could look for hours, then start over and see things you totally missed on the first go around.
I love the sense of humor in many of their pieces. And the detail, the color, the beauty, the imagination. It’s a feast for the eyes, the nose and the brain. Simply fascinating.
I bought a Father’s Day gift for my husband this week and was so happy to see the beautiful package I took from the store. It’s all ready to go ~ No wrapping required! All these pretty touches make this a wonderful experience you don’t want to miss.
P. S. I’m rating this as inexpensive because there are some really well-​priced items you’ll love to make yours. As with all art, there is a variety of pricing but there are definitely some good buys. And there’s also the clearance section upstairs!
