The first time I checked out Archers, I got some pork sausage and a burger variety pack. It was alright. I just went in today and picked up some bacon and beef kabobs. Everyone who worked there was raving about those kabobs. But what really impressed me was when the lady who waited on me the first time, which was about 3 weeks ago, asked me how I liked the burgers. I like supporting local businesses, and the customer service is so great, I will definitely be back again!

I love this place. Every time I’ve been, the meat has been fantastic. It puts all other meat to shame. I don’t even know if I can get a NY strip from anywhere else because I would just be disappointed. Their prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of meat you are getting.

We used Archer’s Catering for a low-​key wedding celebration in our backyard. The service was outstanding, the staff was friendly, the presentation was impressive, the food was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. We chose the Archer’s Delight special and substituted the pork chops with the pork BBQ sandwiches. Several people commented on the quality and presentation of the buffet. I would highly recommend them for any catering need, whether it be an informal or formal setting.

We wanted to make fresh hamburgers this past weekday. So, having been to Archer’s before, and was happy with food, we went back in. We bought the ground chuck, but then also bought the steak special. We got 10 lbs of steak (various cuts) for 49.95. We decided to grill some today. We were concerned because they were all previously frozen and the longest one had been frozen back on Aug 3, it said. We unwrapped 2 T-​bones and 2 New York strips. Beautiful in color, marbled nicely ! Plastic wrapped first then the white meat pack they use. With light seasonings, and even in the snow falling, my husband grilled 4, nice size, very meaty steaks! Tender and flavorful! We WILL go back again!

The meat has always been good. Which is the real reason you go to a butcher, right? The thing that gets me is that on the +/​-​3 times I’ve been in Archer’s, the service has been… surly. Once an older white female and recently a younger white female. It was like me being there was an annoyance. Clearly not bad enough to keep me from going back, but just an oddity that makes Archer’s slightly less than perfect.

I went to Archers on Wednesday because of the Groupon that I bought. The staff was very friendly and joked back and forth with us. The place is very clean and they have a great selection of meats. I walked in planning on spending the $ 30 Groupon that I bought but everything looked so good I kept adding to the list. After spending about $ 40 out of pocket total I walked out with two grocery bags full of fresh bacon, chicken breasts, country style sausage, butterflied pork chops, ground beef and a couple of steaks. Plus they have a text club and you get a free pound of sausage just for showing up. Check them out and thank me later :)
